One of the earliest notorious games that come to mind are Arkham Knight which was insane back then how bad it was, however it feels like an Arkham Knight level of broken game is everyday norm now

I recorded a benchmark of rise of tomb raider maxed out back then on my 6600k and 970 and I got 55-60fps completely maxed out.

That feels rare now, even with higher end hardware it's always plagued with performance issues or relies on frame gen...

For real though, I only really made D2 my only game maybe 2 years into my 3080, I used to play multiple games a day, I used to play a lot in uni too...

They have something called smart calibration/manual calibration, within manual calibration they have the options for their own mousepads but the foreign mousepads are quite hard to calibrate

The vvp3 has an issue with that apparently and the smart calibration needs to be set on high but I did use viper 8k and idk where the “high” setting is

So it’s better to stay at like 6000 unless you manually OC to like 8000 and get that stable
