I find it rather frustrating that none of the console vendors are using HE sticks considering you can get budget controllers from companies such as 8BitDo with HE sticks/triggers.

I have a £25 MSRP controller from 8BitDo with HE sticks, HE triggers and, a 2.4GHz wireless dongle with lower input latency than the Xbox wireless adaptor.

You'd think the £60+ official controllers would at least use HE sticks to solve the main issue with them. Even more so the premium controllers that are £150+.

Sony do have a 2.4 GHz wireless standard they use for first party headsets. One can only hope they start using that for controllers also. Although I’d wish there was proper feature parity between using a DualSense on PS5 versus on a PC.

Plus games such as FFXIV on PS5 let you use the trackpad as a mouse pointer which just absent on PC despite Square Enix officially supporting the DualSense on the PC version.

I’ve been looking into it. Mostly because they’ve got a smart doorbell that doesn’t use batteries/wifi or the cloud for storing recordings. There’s a Logitech smart doorbell that’s HomeKit enabled but it’s not officially sold in the UK.

Plus their wireless access points are pretty good.
