you can always just get an external numpad

no, you won't
and you know I win if we fight
I always win
I'm like Vietnam
undefeated
If I canāt get an FE edition Iām skipping it
now im not sure if im schizophrenic or the 80he is a bit smaller than other 80% keyboards
I'll... uh... use the power of distraction
both

yeah it has a row cut off
its missing 1 column no?
yeah whatever it's called
ah
and then it doesn't have the context menu key or whatever it is
its okay youre a cat-snake
i feel like the 80he has an awkward layout
why is it not just a normal 80% layout š
It has to be special
only 2 decent mag tkls other than the 80he on the market, this and the morkblade tkl
won't matter when it will be unobtainium
and scalped to hell
well, true... it will be scalped to hell and back
at least they dont scalp plushies
then again the stuffing would just all get out
wouldn't really work
pinnacle of comedy right here
-_-
Just received this cute little boi after it got lost for 2.5 months in the canada post strike
@astral haven look at him
its important
well sikakeyb has hemu which has bad fw issues so thats out
why not a venom?
fancy
Biggest crime is 16 Gb vram
rip resale value of all cards from the past years
looking forward to nabbing a lower-class card secondhand for 300 lmao
Does anyone know what the size for the spacebar is for the 60HE+? Is it 6u or 6.25u?
This is the way
6.25u
You the GOAT! Ty
these 50 series prices aren't as bad as i thought they'd be

why are 16 GB a crime?
i've never actually achieved more than 13 GB in use
It's just a plateau of VRAM, in an era where more is needed.
My 3080 has 10GB. Two generations later and we're still only getting a meagre 6GB on top?
Haha, woke up, and first thing I figure out is that Nvidia watched a couple of videos of people combining AFMF2 with FSR3 for quadruple frames, were like "we want to do that" and created an FG mode for up to 8x FG
Did Nvidia not watch the part of the video where the actual experience was horrendous?
Also, faking benchmark numbers apparently, the graphs were fucked, 40 series cards used DLSS3 while 50 cards DLSS4 4X mode, while as far as I understand RTX 4000 cards will also get DLSS4
So that's fucked
Soon ā¢ļø
Nvidia has become a fan company it feels like
Those double slot coolers are kinda nuts, for a 575W card
Pricing is as fucked as always but not as bad as it could have been
Meh, we'll see how good this shit really is
Pretty happy that they're not locking the new models.
I like DLSS3, but more than 3x FG is kinda nuts
Reflex 2 is coming to all RTX GPUs also
(they are, DLSS4 only RTX 50)
Isn't DLSS4 just a combination of the enhanced models + multi-frame gen?
and same for FSR4 is only on the new AMD cards
We don't actually know that
Q&A said they are looking into porting to RDNA3
So yes but no, we'll see by the time of launch
I mean the slide says "developed for RDNA 4 and the unique compute aspects of the RDNA 4 AI accelerators"
sounds pretty exclusive to me
Whats the diffrents beetween the v5 and v4 wootility
I need help with my color profile, its not able to save on the website nor the app
It also wont apply to keyboard as well
Make a thread in #1019755933959733258 and share some screenshots of what's going on.
Close signalRGB or any other rgb software
You should use V5 in either case.
i mean just go take a look
Only $900 USD for Dell's 27" 4K OLED. That's a really good price, I was expecting over $1000 USD.
How much for shipping?
I don't know
It looks nice too
I'll have to wait until April for it to release in Europe anyway
I hate how the Asus stand looks
peeps who get these usually have arms
ROG tax also
Jan 30, RTX 5090 f5 spam begnings buy buy buy š
pricing not out yet so we don't know
Sure but if last year's 32" OLEDs were anything to go by, the Alienware was £300 cheaper pretty much ever other 32" QD-OLED using the same panel.
To be fair, that sldie is with DLSS Performance & Framegen x4 enabled lol
Thank god I slept through this
The fact the main point aside from price was ai tops on the slide makes me want to vomit lmfao
But quinā¦.. AI!!!!!
Like no shit I can see that in Ai performance it will be a 4090 with the new changes lmfao
Not for gaming
AI MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND PRAISE BE FOR THE FRAMES ON TOP OF FRAMES
gonna have to wait for independent benchmarks for those
i wonder if nvidia is finally going to come out with driver based optical flow frame gen
wow that's a mouthful
5070ti is kinda desirable
They donāt need to if they can just use the market position to put dlss into anything
No card is desirable yet because we donāt know performance
Is the 5080 also 16gb like shown in previous leaks?
Ok desirable is the wrong word
yep
Interesting and I'm keeping my eye on
That's stupid
^
30th
Same
Gonna be fun watching the benches since im just gonna keep my 4080
does that even need an upgrade? O_O
No
my 5700xt does most things still fine
You can trust that theyāre tasty though
no shit Sherlock, but have you checked the currency exchange rate?
benchmarks done with MFG and they thought we wouldn't notice
Far cry 6 is non dlss but rt which is also not a like for like comparison since new gen RT cores but even then It looks to be about 20-25% at most
In raster It's prob less
just sell one of your many keyboards
That is the correct price more or less though after exchange and taxes?
do you really care about 30⬠that much at the end?
the card is already overpriced anyways
Gonna wait for the benchmarks anyway
like you should
and as Dashi already said, the GPUs will be scalped for at least half a year
it's alright US will play catch up soon with the tariff coming

Very real, just add RT to generate plants
5090 is $2557 for me
what dollars
import tax?
US
RTX so good it remade all the textures and added bump-mapping
Very efficient
except you wont get any of the vram and less bandwidth apparently
But, the multi frames!
AMD already shared something. But in general it means they don't really compete with the NV 5000 series only with the 4000 series. https://www.techpowerup.com/330549/amd-debuts-radeon-rx-9070-xt-and-rx-9070-powered-by-rdna-4-and-fsr-4
AMD appears to suggest the 9070 series will offer similar performance to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070 Super.
beeenchmarks is what counts :p
ye in general the pricing and on paper specs are nice to know but benchmarks will put it all into perspective
no
they just did not want to share pricing before nvidia
lots of display port 2.1 is what i like to see
DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 product demos and new DP80LL cables to be showcased at CES 2025 BEAVERTON, Ore. ā January 6, 2025 ā TheĀ Video Electronics Standards AssociationĀ (VESAĀ®) today announced that it is working with members to introduce new DP80LL (ālow lossā) ultra-high-bit-rate (UHBR) cables that enable up to four-lane UHBR20 link rate support ...
hey we get proper cables too
yeah thats the spec the 50series supports
(unsuprisingly as the a and b specs often are just cable stuff)
Price to performance ( rn doesnāt matter Iām assuming since we have no real numbers lmao)
looking at the price of 550 for the 70 the winner is already obvious
depends on performance
for me relative to the 4090 (i got a feeling the 5090 is the only real option)
and then its only the new amd cpus that need to battle it out
for 2.4k

ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ
idk xD
nvidia is likely more power efficient..

Considering they are obfuscating the real raster performance with their multi-level frame generator, I don't think they are confident
There's no need for 4090 owners to buy a 5090
thats why the benches next month are the interesting part now
thats 2.3k
last i checked 2 isnt rounding up
2.3k is such an insane price for a GPU
And they are selling them to you without even demonstrating what DLSS4 does?
Oh this just.. gives you 8x more frames!
We all know that 2x frames comes with a price, how tf does 8x look like
its funny that basically the same kinda stuff was said for the 4090 and yet people bought it
including me. and i dont regret it at all
Nvidia is a fan design company for me at this point, that 2-slot cooler cooling a 575W beast is quite nuts
Reflex 2 is also cool
Thankfully reviewers will do proper raster tests.
No way anyone should buy hardware sight unseen.
oh people will to try and scalp
I'll take Nvidia as the Apple of our day until someone like AMD or Lossless Scaling just copy their features in an affordable product
RTX 5070 is 4090!!!*
- requires 4X frame generator and DLSS2 to achieve
Just trust us bro, 4090 performance
Kind of insane the feeling of game rendering is not quantifiable as performance
Nvidia really is marketing 50 FPS triple multiplied and upscaled as the same thing as native 150FPS
to the shock of everyone tech company stretched the truth during presentation slideshow at tech event
The problem is they seriously devalued the 4090 with that statement
Oh no!
I'm sure they care a lot about the value of the 4090 they stopped making and was in short supply back in september https://www.forbes.com/sites/antonyleather/2024/09/21/buy-an-nvidia-rtx-4090-before-its-too-late-shortages-predicted/
so like every card before
the 2080 wishes it could have done that
unless you make money with it, a gpu is never an investment
I donāt remember any other time nvidia was saying new generation x70 card are comparable to the previous x90 card
1% faster according to techpowerup @ 1440p
Wonder how it is now with games using so much VRAM
their marketing tried to
Did any if the 4070 cards beat the 3090 ?
welp the printer has at long last joined the ranks of its fellow printerkind in promptly refusing to work and complaining over the wrong symptoms
did take it some 8 years to break down so that's at least 7 years over most printers out there, gj xerox I suppose
Nvidia has just recently held their CES 2025 event and they revealed their brand new Blackwell GPUs, in short the RTX 5070 has the same performance as the RTX 4090, a 1599$ GPU is now comparable to a 549$ GPU... Of course we will have to wait for the gaming benchmarks since Nvidia didn't seem to show any but if this is true, this would be the re...
People seriously need to stop taking the claims seriously
Every 2 year nvidia do this
Ye
Its how you build unnecessary wallet tremblings to those who canāt help themselves
I wanna see that in real time without dlss and any ai stuff
Most ppl would love to buy a new GPU or something new on a reasonable price
guys, is it smart to buy a 4070 ti super now or wait for 5070 ti?
what would u reckon
Wait for the launch of the 5070ti to buy a 4070ti much cheaper
wait actually 200iq
Never happens like that
i didnt even think about that wtf
New ones will sell out and old ones keep prices
i mean i doubt it will in the NEAR future, maybe spring time it might drop but still
Nvidia is good at that
No because they just donāt make enough cards to satisfy demand at the start
nvidia said theyre making more now with launch of 50 series
They canāt produce enough, even if scalpers didnāt exist
more than they ever did previously
They say that every time
truth be told...
Because more people want one every time
fking circus
ugh then it doesnt matter if i get it now or in 100 years
itll be the same
Canāt wait for a month of telling people no the 5070 isnāt close to being faster than the 4090
no what you do is you do not interact with those people at all
save your nerves for something else
Who else is attempting to make a poor financial decision on the 30th?
What gpu is on the 30th
Ah ye no
I'll never understand why a lot of people get a 9 class
Same drop date for the rest of the 5000 series cards ?
It's a dual slot and it should be at least as good as the 4090 and I have my reasons for wanting that without reviews.
SMH
What about people trying to sell their 4090? They will get low balled by people that listen to nvidia
I hope so
They wonāt
I'll be keeping my eye out
I'm not selling mine I have a use for it.
You had like a day of people trying to sell their 2080ti for super cheap and then it was noticed it doesnāt make sense
And we get reviews before release
After I get a 5090 I'm not buying another GPU for years.
So people will see the 4090 is still better for gaming than a 5070 by a lot
so many people charging close to msrp for their 1-2 year old cards on ad listings, its bizarre
Yeah they are lying through their teeth about the 5070.
Was compared to have similar performance
do they actually get sold eventually or why these copium priced cards keep popping up
It was not clamped at all lol
They have similar performance if you use dlss to have 4x frames on it when the 4090 has only 2x lmfao
The DLSS lies are pretty awful.
And in Ai tasks it might be similar
i wont. ill wait for reviews
In gaming? Not even close
so prob well after the 30th
Remember NVIDIA doesnāt show comparisons they show you marketing
So everyone buy a 4090 lmaooo
I'll stick with my 3070 thanks
The reviews should drop on the 30th.
they're doing apple comparisons
Nah I'm good with one.
Rocking a 3080 from 3 years ago still
should and prob after all the stock is sold
No it will be before
Same
Nvidia has done embargos after the launch before IIRC.
Buy but donāt open it. Return if reviews are not favorable?
look how much faster it is over the old one on these very specific and carefully curated benchmark picks of tasks and softwares we think you'll care about
Not in recent history and embargoes canāt last longer than launch
Sell it to a worthy owner
Wasn't it like a single day?
is that true?
No
They usually do reviews a day before
I wonder what the real prices will be for the 50xx series)
gpu manufacturers and devs doing everything in their power to blur and misrepresent what is real frames per second and what's the result of their lazy optimization bandaids
My plan is to put the 5090 in my workstation, move the 4090 to my VR computer, move the 3060 to my workstation for VMs and then not buy GPUs for 5+ years.
Me who just want a GPU upgrade from the 6700 XT
I imagine we get amd to reveal pricing and match it to 5070 for a chunk cheaper in a while too
I just hope that the 9070 gonna be priced fairly
Yeah there's no way that isn't their game and why they didn't announce anything with their GPUs.
Ai maxxing
Might even reach 5070ti, weāll have to see and hope
Moving to 5090 allows more room between the gpu and the 10gb nic. Currently about 1mm of gap between them
5090 is so expensive....
Also I expect this genās actual performance to be smaller than what the 40 series gained over the 30
It's the price of the 4090 in France (in euros)
So for the 5090 it's now over 2k in euros
HAJA so true, Iām so hyped for the 50X series just for that
its still going to sell more than what should be considered reasonable
i think i just get the 5080 i dont see it being worth double
(Reseller on Leboncoin are gonna go crazy with that one)
What do you think the price will be at the start of sales?
Me who thinking about that 4080 non-super for 722⬠
60W huh
Now, does the handheld have to do 60W docked
I certainly hope it does
Would be insane tbh
More power more FPS
People say it have the same performance as the PS4
PS4 Pro at that
Ill use a steam deck as a server
wdym, it gets under 45W from the dock
At least more power than the ds lite
All that to have a shitty 3D open world PokƩmon game
I'll use the APU for server hosting 100%
January 24th RDNA4
Let me know when they succeed in that.

Weāll be dead by then
id wait for 50series prices and performance comprisons
hey, at least might not drop like 10% of frames
If in gonna wait for the 50 series i might be able to buy a 5060 with 8gb of vram
Hating but will still buy new gen PokƩmon game tho
All I know about the latest Pokeman games is that speedrunners won't use one of the two (not a bike) mons because the exhaust slows down FPS so much it kills runs š
i mean atm the 5070 would be at the price point you posted
and that is why they will stay bad
i also buy them... yes
HAHA wait for real ??
Didnāt except much from Nintendo but damn

to be fair
games could look and run better on the switch
yes we all buy Nintendo solo player game ofc
the pokemon games just are horribly optimized
Sword and Shield was acceptable from what I recall. But definely hitting some noticeable drops in places.
yes i like buying games
small reminder that sword and shield already was a 3ds asset flip
and already had performance issues
if you consider n64 graphics not running well acceptable
Couldn't tell you - Never played Zeldork on anything than GBC or emulator.
70$ Game btw
weird i got a huge discount on it
although a certain other switch and game cost me an arm and a leg cause the special edition of the switch for the damn game came without the game
for whatever ungodly reason
sksks wait what š ?
well it ran like ass for most part on the original system so that's the authentic experience
make me remember that back in the game my mom bought me the 3ds Pokemon Y Edition cluelessly thinking it came WITH the game
Deeply hate nintendo since then
ye unlike my new 3ds with pokemon plates for alpha sapphire the zelda TotK switch came with 0 game
didnt miss out on anything
š Damn, isn't it like 500$ also ~ ?
trash of the kingdom
TotK is pretty decent.
i paid 369eur
so like 380 or 390usd
Oh you're german ?
i was mainly bummed out cause while it is an oled swiotch those werent that expensive back then
either way at the end i was a bit sad but im also a massive zelda fan and welkcome my first oled switch
I'm cheap, should I get this?
70$ off right now
used those a bit and not a fan personally
Which part do you dislike?
not a fan of the case design or how it feels in terms of fit and finish, weird mix of cheap plastic and alu top plate to make it more "premium"
Hmm, I might buy it still if it's that's like the only problem
I'm not particularly sensitive to touch because I'm used to rough surfaces
the stock switches are pretty bland too, not sure if you can swap them but that would at least improve the typing aspect
There is key caps options, so it's definitely swappable
dogshit
Elaborate please
@ashen spindle any laptop news
build and materials severely lacking
performance is nothing special
low quality keycaps
bad switches tolerance wise
sounds pretty bad
you want a fullsize mech board?
I dunno for a low enough price it might be considerable, but then am kinda ruined by my wootings
for me I would either go cheapo mech kb or save up for a wooting, most of the expensive mech kbs that still use regular switches doesn't really perform better in any significant way
ITS BACK!!!
I want high responsive full keyboards
keychron v5/6 max are gonna be way way better than k70
if you want responsive get a wooting two HE
best fullsize HE
you're mostly paying for the case and rgb when you're paying more than like ā¬50-70 for a typical mech board
Thats true tho
Ah alright
if you want normal mechanical get keychron v5/6 max
if you want hall effect which is more responsive wooting two he is the best option
You forgot to tag hun
Thanks a lot for the info
I'd never.
Mansen doesnt wanna ping quin more than whats necessary
might be worth considering bst listings for a used two HE if you can't afford the full retail
@ashen spindle did it for you don't worry
I could save up
Does wooting do sales or not?
Nope
imo its worth it if you really want the best performance and also a long-term investment you can trust to work for many years
Thanks for letting me know
and when it eventually doesn't you can fix basically everything on a wooting board
Long investment, yeah I can keep my stuff working for years
I can pretty much guarantee the big bois like razer, corsair etc won't be able to or be interested in fixing an old broken kb of theirs
they're not designed to be servicable, the wootings are
Razer keyboards are mostly a miss, I never had a Corsair so I needed some information.
Okay so I think I'm saving some cash for the two HE then
steelseries still use thruhole rgb leds on their apex pro boards that mounts through the switch casing so you can't even replace a switch should one break
there's a theme of designing stuff to be manufactured as cheap and painless as possible for these corpos, when it breaks you just buy a new keyboard amiright
lol, seems like keyboard service is the main reason for anything to be good. Seems like wooting outperforms them in that context
60HE and 80HE in particular has taken a lot of cues from the custom kb community in terms of compatibility and construction, basically you can swap out every individual part should it be nescessary
If modern phones were the same man..
its an issue in general with modern electronics, I see it as a big plus if I can find anything user service friendly period now
wooting wants an excuse to innovate on mice before considering making one, I say just make a fully servicable one, that's as innovative as can be in todays market
The problem with mice is that you can't just easily open them up and replace all the parts, I have a g402 for 7 years and it's getting really dirty and stuff so that's getting replaced eventually. Watching the tutorials for cleaning one is absolutely diabolical
EGG is already pretty mod friendly
š„
I've fixed a few mice myself but yes they are on average a royal pita to work on
Not like modern laptops š
Thisi is cool honestly
they have holes in the skates so you can easily take their mice apart without taking off the skates and they sell switches you can easily swap between https://www.endgamegear.com/en-us/accessories/op1-universal-switch-pack
The texture compression is kinda nice
That looks cool
Black State will launch with AI-powered NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation boosting framerates, stunning ray-traced visuals, and the best responsiveness with NVIDIA Reflex.
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/dlss4-multi-frame-generation-ray-tracing-rtx-games
A secret group of scientists called the Architects summons you for a mys...
yeah the modern thinbois are basically just held together by glue everywhere, whatever components you were hoping to swap are hard soldered in anyways so why would you wanna open it
Frankenstein my laptop
No other reason
had one of those big chonker 17" asus gaming laptops for a long time, to their credit I was able to access all 4 ram slots and 3 drivebays for replacements and expansions, also managed to track down replacement cooling fans on aliexpress and replace those, probably got another 2-3 years out of that thing bc of it
Awesome
phones and laptops in particular end up near unfixable as a result of people wanting the thinnest device possible, those modular options are interesting but too much compromises to consider
ain't noone gonna pay 50% more for a fairphone over an assmung with the same internals
Same with frameworks
yep
Even tho i love framework I can't justify buying a model 16 for 2.5k over a 2k pc and a 500 euro laptop to pair it with for travels because cloud computing is just cheaper
I love the idea of framework, but the cost penalties you get from having such niche functionality kinda affects those most interested in such a device for financial reasons
Also almost 2 years without new gpu options makes me question frameworks future
Yeah and even the factory seconds even tho they are good aren't great there are some features you just can't justify
Unironically most people get a better use from their boards alone than the units
imo it would kinda have to become a multi manufacturer ecosystem to really have a shot at mainstream adaption
Yeah
I mean framework 13 factory second unit is a good deal you can score one for 400 euro
When using the transformer-based model of Super Resolution, the output image has improved stability and higher detail in motion.

Honestly, kinda nice
now you're basically buying into an apple ecosystem but instead of a software walled garden its a hardware one
But as it stands framework 16 isn't worth it
DLSS is just becoming better and better
And AMD didn't even bother to show off FSR4
How much do you think 4090 would be after 5000 series drop? I feel like itās gonna be expensive still
Yes
It won't drop for a while
are the framework module addon design documents even open sourced so anyone can have a crack at making 3rd party modules
You can sign an NDA to get access to the motherboard docs
And im p sure even cad files for cases
is dlss like sharp now or still a noticeable downgrade compared to without
Wait no their cases are cast
well that's something, but you'd think making it as easy as possible for third parties to get encouraged making more modules would be in frameworks best interests
New update to it should improve clarity but will have to test out first i think
i hope
nerds sitting on piles of developer boards and a 3d printer would be all over that if they could
I mean even now I use it in pretty much every new game I play, added performance for very little degredation in quality
in some aspects it improves quality
1440p dlss quality is just very nice
dont know about 3.5 but 3 looked kinda bad to me :/
Oh not frame gen, I don't own a card that even supports that so I can't tell you how that is
Honestly whatever lets you escape 1080p rabbit hole
I cant wait to upgrade from my laptop will defo toy with that
Aged pretty badly... But ey, he was spot on #šātech message
Iāve got a 1440p atm but want to upgrade to a OLED 1440p
a normal IPS 1440p monitor is more than enough for me i dont need "cleaner blacks"
Oled main and ips secondary is great
i'm just too cheap to pay money for a nicer monitor when I got my 165hz1440p IPS for 150⬠used like 3 years ago
dlss is getting pretty gud but also relies on the game devs contiously updating their already released titles to make use of it
can't just use whatever version was most recent when your game released and never touch it again
well 75 titles with DLSS 4 support on release is pretty solid
Apparently you can override the dlss in the nvidia app when it gets updated
oled main and oled secondary
To use the latest
no secondary š¤
but only 2 games with reflex 2...
really wish they'd add dlss to HD2, their proprietary upscaler is rather awful
2300 euro here so close enough lol
atleast 5080 is exactly same price as 4080
Having to use native during the dives otherwise ill be sad
yeah I think that might be significantly more work to implement
that 5070 looks more and more juicy
Wonder how it tastes
am stuck on ultra quality to get sufficiently smooth gameplay, it's tolerable but sadly a bit too noticable
Lekker switches is still the best taste wise
why did the finals decide to do it
dont they have other problems

gotta do something to revive their dead game I guess
Maybe one day
less latency will save it š„
atleast on 1440p low its not that bad
nah i lied
The finals has the issue of a good game but declining playerbase
at least 3 people will redownload to try it out
any lower and it kinda starts affecting your gameplay performance because things are so damn blurry and aliased it gets harder to make stuff out at range and in busy engagements
Maybe the updated dlss will help with black ops 6s fuzziness
am running 1440p medium on most settings
another game where i dont understand how it runs so bad
Ragdolls are funny though
tbh the game looks good enough on medium already but the upscaler is the main partypooper
Glad they brought back ragdolls
use dlss and image sharpening to replace the detail you lost having to turn down the settings and TAA being the only AA option with machinelearned guesswork
why do i play older games most of the time
Because good games stay good games even years after release
I wonder how much of the image on screen will be literally made up by your gpu in a couple years when UE5 is the only game engine still being used and it won't run well even on your 20 grand RTX10900
upscaling restoring the lost details that was never there in the first place
Cant restore the lost details in my wallet though
inb4 banks develop a system using arbitrary interest rates and savings predictions to bring us an upscaled account balance
experience a significant increase in your perceived wealth and social stature without the actual financial leverage required
Im gonna be starting uni soon, any recommendations when trying to pick a budget laptop that could surive 10 hours of lectures on one charge ?
plug it in at your seat
Im split between getting a chromebook or a post lease U rated laptop from 2018
Im not sure we are getting charging ports at uni
waow
Can you even buy 4090 or 4080ās atm?
man I love MLID for all the wrong reasons
4080 yes, 4090 has been discontinued for months
AMD -0.13%
nvidia -4.97%

nvidia lost??
No way fr ?
Lmao the fguck
Seriously Finalmeme is insane https://fixupx.com/finalmouse/status/1871641169614250419
129$ mousepad
yeah costs the same as a limited wallhack pad š
The newest Macbook
And they spend so much money doing a dune parody...for a FUCKING MOUSEPAD
Surfaces that flex and shrink slightly?
isn't that for the new mice? not the pad
If I donāt get a 5090 Iām gonna lose my mind
Lol
$129 is way too cheap for a finalmouse
oh no, I'm sure not having a 4090 iwht 25% more performance is going to be horrible
Yeah $129 is for the pad
I'm saying the dune video is the mice, and they cost the usual $189
idk I can't really justify spending more than like $600 on a gpu and my position on that hasn't really changed since...ever
Hey whats the best graphic card for up to 400
I enjoy muh vidyagaems like anyone else but not to a point where it cost me thousands of $
RX 7700 XT maybe
its twice my budget
actually no 3 times
I was told a 4060 ti was good so which one?
also unironically if I could mac book m1 would be almost perfect for that
altho a tad overkill
7700xt is quite a bit ahead of the 4060ti
oh okay then
also has more vram so if you play something newer you wont run into the 8gb issue on the 4060ti potentially
Does the ryzen 7600x still work with it tho?
ok nice ill get that then
I usually look at things like factory overclocked versions and also how its cooler is done, higher clock from factory suggests a nicer specimen was selected for that version, also larger diameter fans is generally preferable to smaller and more fans in terms of noise which is what I mainly care about
then try to find what best matches my budget on those criterias
damn so i dont understand that quite well
find the model you want, sort by price, check if the cheapest models have reviews, look if they have any issue and if not grab that one
ok ill do that
almost every gpu model like 4060, 4070, ti or not is usually available in like 2-3 or more versions based on the same core chipset but with various levels of overclocking and often in case of the highest oc ones they have beefed up cooling over the manufacturers default specs
ohhhh i see bit i think ill just stick to the 7700xt
am guessing its a similar ordeal with a lot of the radeon models but its been a while since I last got any of those
@frozen ingot you think you could take a look at the things i have so far?
post it in here if possible and others can have a peek also
this is what i came up with idk any of that stuff so pls font flame me for some mistakesšš
you will have to swap out the ram at least, socket am5 is ddr5 only
can recommend the ones am using, same branding as the ones you picked, kingston fury ddr5 6000mhz cl30 2x16gb
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, GeForce RTX 4060, Fractal Design Pop Air ATX Mid Tower
that ssd seems expensive
this is what I built a couple months ago as a good bang for buck platform
yeah should be the 1tb version in my case
it had a nice discount at the time of purchase
ah ok i see
same with the 4060, its def a pass for msrp
razer deathadder v3 feels like shit compared to the v2
whats that??
a type of hard drive
am using arctic p12 pwm pst fans in my case, like ā¬7-8 a pop and they nice and quiet
š
you want an nvme ssd for your operating system and preferably most newer games, there's so called m.2 ports on your motherboard for it
Bruh fr ??
this good?
yes fr idk anything abt that
if its the 6000mhz cl30 then yeah they've been rock solid for me
it was this or getting ulx today. think i made the smarter choice
I love my VV3P
Well the 5070ti also has 16 Gb
Why the heck would you put both the 5070ti and 5080 at 16 gb
To sell the 5080super later on
Precisely
to release a 5080 Ti or Super with 20GB
So it makes no sense to buy the 5070ti or the 5080 if the super ever comes out
vram blueballing is nvidia tradition at this point
because nVidia got blamed for undersizing their memory for years while AMD even packed their lower SKU cards with 16 GB. Whether you need it or not
so i have this now still missing something?
The only one thatās worth buying is the 5090
cpu cooler, other than that I think you got a working pc out of those things
Itās so infuriating, luckily I manage to get a 7900xt for good price
Yup but break the bank for $2000
still, i haven't seen any regular gamer actually utilizing more than 13 GB VRAM
this the latest version or it auto detects the m,o9st recent?
Should be the most recent
Itās 4k gaming, you need 16 gb minimum to be comfortable
If youāre on 1440p youāre fine

did you check the Steam Hardware Survey and how many actually run their games at 4k?

a number bigger than the people owning a 4090/4080
Makes sense most people play competitive games you donāt give a crap about image quality just how much frames you can get
am using this also but the SE one, different paint scheme
point is we have seen games now where the 8gb of cards has not been enough on 1440p even and these cards will have to run much more demanding games
Where are you from if you donāt mind me asking
i took that picture from wallhack
Oh ok lol was about to ask because of the Spanish
yeah am still not gonna bother with stalker 2 on my 4060
Some people just set some super low res upscaling
It'd probably be fine tbh
that's certainly true, yet there's no point in worrying about 16 GB being not enough. Most people won't even use 12 GB VRAM
Just lower some settings
at least not until they've done at least some polishing on the performance side
they push it as AI cards the same time and you need vram there even more
and for the price they could easily add more
12gb is the minimum for a new card nowadays
nVidias logic: But GDDR7 goes brrr
Imo
uhm RIP AU
What's their tax rate
insanity
Australia always got the short end of the stick when it comes to imports
Remember tax is included in the price in some countries and not in some others
Honestly they should build fabs to make use of all the unused space
@floral copper Buy it bro
Fabs require freaking expensive equipment, work force, knowledge and work force to train the upcoming work force. Before a fab starts to become profitable they run for years on debts
not to mention running such a factory in the scorching australian outback
Sometimes they don't even equal the debt to build the fab
would need as much power as the whole factory or more just to cool it with air conditioning
so in most EU countries the 5090 gonna cost 2.329 ā¬
basically, yeah
thats not an issue the bigger one is you would need all the packaging and co there as well since it cant be shipped to malaysia and back to back assembled and such
don't forget that partner GPUs will cost even more
AssUs will probably charge like 3k⬠for their Rog Strix
cant afford? Too bad. Get intel
so who's hyped for those rumored new tarriffs in the states
its gonna suck lol
and also they dont really package them in china so wouldnt hit them anyway
you know they'll put the additional costs onto the final customer at the end, right?
ill be mad if my McD bƶgƶ price goes up due to tariffs
rip
gpus get made in taiwan, packaged mostly in malaysia or indonesia, so china tarrifs wont really hit them aside from maybe some component costs
USA tariffs dude
you mean there's cases where they don't put the additional costs on someone other than the end customer?
yeah the us isnt going to put tarrifs onto taiwan?
Tarife or not. It's highly unlikely the end customer gets any benefits from that
there putting tariffs on everyone including EU
Googles: "What is a tariff?"
thats what the average trump voter understood of tarrifs
they assumed china pays for it
When do they give up though
wErEE guNNa MaKe TeM PaY!!
shocked pikatchu
the headline is stupid, they are not going to kill graphics as long as intel exists
I mean, already investing billions makes no sense to just can it after 2 gens lol, and B580 is doing fine in sales
just like that time mexico paid for the wall
the question is if they are going to axe dedicated GPUs
You didn't realize their Battlemage Launch was extremely successful for them, did you?
it doesnt make them money, doesnt matter how successful it is
You seem to have not read the article this time
Really? Remains to be seen imo
"Intel will not kill off its discrete graphics business."
yes I didnt say they are not talking about it, I just said the headline makes no sese since that's never a question
even the url is more accurate so I assume the editor has no clue and changed it
hopefully amd and intel can duke it out in the midrange segment to hopefully result in actually solid midrange picks
lmao amd doesnt care about intel in gpus
yet
They do since Intel isn't eating from nVidias cake, but AMDs instead
no they dont
amd and intel catching up seems more a case of when Nvidia is quitting consumer gpus, so likely not in atleast for the next 5-10 yrs
amd wants margins, intel is losing money, they arent going to cut their prices to lose money and gain nothing
software isnt there
alchemist got intel a <1% marketshare
don't think nvidia will quit the consumer space anytime soon
Gigabyte is just as bad as asus warranty wise tho
nvidia will never abandon consumer because thats how they have the education->hpc/DC/AI pipeline set up
learn cuda, do cuda later
Actually never had any issues with Gigabyte. In fact they've treated me very nicely
its a profitable segment that ensures people will be wanting more nvidia in data center
Maybe it's changed since then
Was a few years ago
even though the consumer/gaming slice of their income is rather insignificant to what they rake in on the AI/server stuff
I had good rma experiences with MSI personally @hasty thunder
its like a >50% hardware research overlap for the area and the money they make on gaming alone is more than other companies
Gaming prob gets relegated to shit tier nodes before that happens, personally
nope, because then they would lose the consumer market
nm 2 nodes and below are too costly for gaming
So did i with Gigabyte. When my X570 was DoA they apologized for it and sent me a replacement without questions
that would just make it even more costly to do R&D on multiple nodes with very different abilities
you would not actually save money doing that
even forgot to put the Sata Cables back into the box, yet they didn't give a fuck
Got a replacement the same week i've RMA'd the board, sealed AND express shipped
Nyumi just be careful with Asus and gigabyte mixed reviews when it comes to rma and customer service
Nvidia is already looking for other node than tmsc 2 nm based on leaks. Prob bs but TSM and Nvidia has a history. Nvidia has to keep those 70% gross margins to keep share price stable. It's priced to perfection atm. TSM doesnt like how much money Nvidia is making off of them.
yes its massive bs lmfao
Nah
everything that says amd or nvidia are going big on samsung is massive bs
I had a dead out of warranty z390 board from msi which was like 3 months out of warranty and they replaced it without any issues no fees nothing
samsung advanced nodes are not working well enough
Jensen doesnt like TSMC jacking up prices just for them
It could be 18A
14A
Tahts fine for me
that would be nice
What's the source on "TSMC jacking up prices"
common sense and tsmc literally talking about it
LE REDDIT š
Neither does TSMC like that AMD gained a massive profit, yet they don't really care since they've gained a shit ton of money too by AMDs success themself
it's a win/win for both sides
what, why would tsmc not like that amd has good profits now
they are nowhere near apple or nvidia margins
tsmc are happy they have another big customer thats dependent on them lol
Nvidia switched to samsung 8 nm a few years back? Was it 3000 gen?
cuz Jensen is greedy goblin š
that was dual sourced, data center was still on tsmc
and the nodes were similar enough
but the motivation was still there
hes looking for cheaper deals that lets him buy next yacht
also 8nm was fine, samsung has not had any great node since
but only tsmc really had a good EUV node since then and now samsung struggles with GAAFET so more nodes that dont look great
yea
ive heard yes and no so wasnt sure
game mode of what
windows
What website is best to purchase 5000 series?
wherever it will be in stock
ebay
23days left till 5090 time!
mm yeah they suck now but im still bullish on samsung
well, you might be the only one outside of korea
lOl
tehy made some partnership with intel where they share knowledge relating to gaafet + bspd etc
could be epic fusion
like they are on the second 3nm/gaafet node and the only chip is some watch chip because yields are still atrocious
I wish you luck
This is interesting.... Google is offering either a free battery replacement, $50 cash or $100 towards an upgrade for the pixel 4, did something happen?
gaafet is hard maybe, or samsung just sucks
both?
Ty! will be alot of f5 spam š
they also had long time issues with EUV
Apparently reports of battery swelling
but like 2nm should be in mass production this year from samsun and last repots still had it at like 20% yields
yeah
they had issues with the pixel 8 as well
with lines appearing on the screen
they started offering free repairs
only after a bunch of people complained and they got in trouble
hey so i can not afford 1.2k pc anyway to make it cheaper?
can you reuse your current pc case?
cheaper case or reuse
Pretty exciting insights https://youtu.be/xpzufsxtZpA?si=rDbORDjvul_qqgpY
Nvidia unveiled the RTX 50-series range of GPUs at CES 2025, but we had the chance to take a quick look at DLSS 4 running on an RTX 5080 over the preceding holiday break. Here's a look at DLSS 4 super resolution and ray reconstruction improvements stacked up against the existing technology, plus a look at the new Frame-Gen 3x and 4x options and ...
i dont have oneš
thatll save me like 70⬠max
are pc cases universal or do I have to look out for something?
there are size standards
you need one that fits ATX motherboards as thats what you chose
also you need to check clearances but none of your parts are big enough for that to be an issue
so unless you chose a super small case it should fit
https://de.pcpartpicker.com/ i also heavily recommend using pcpartpicker
Lian-Li cases are fire
its easier for sharing and it gives you price comparisons
not for someone trying to save money and over budget
this new model does seem like a substantial improvement
especially if paired with reflex
Damn all the one plus 13 reviews came out at the same time lol
Thank you
dlss 4 actually seems nice
only thing id want in that video is more of those comparisons including native
Iāll genuinely cry if I canāt snag a founders edition
I'm glad to see reflex 2 and dlss 4 are backwards compat
i can never decide if I want FE or partner board
FE for the size imo
you mean like they had a first look at the 4090 and oversold the shit out of RT and dlss?
hmm i dont think i'm so size constrained.
sorry but for nvidia cards digital foundry have sorta lost all credit
price and cooling performance are my concerns. the price on FE is usually good but no idea how the cooler performs
it is a red flag they aren't comparing native
Gonna have to wait and see
but the improvements to the smear if true are huge imo
ofc they are only showing what nvidia says is okay so its more marketing than a actual first look
especially on older gen cards
But the 5090fe being a 2slot is crazy cause I think the 4090fe was a 3 slot
this is just them doing marketing for nvidia not a serious review
yo i have a problem i set my keyboard rgb to plain white and yet it puts cyan and pink everytime
once cards drop
it doesn't have a dedicated white led
so it will never be truly white
i have enough slots š¤·āāļø
well still when i put it on rainbow it does this
oh like
its just so funny because on DLSS they say DLLS gives free performance, for fsr they say it could reduce performance lmfao
and i set the rgb to rainbow
show your wootility
I made a funny
ćQRT of TechnicallyLogic (@TechnicallyLog1):ć
'This just says so much'
yeah no I don't expect dlss or fsr to improve performance
you're usually sacrificing input latency
it just makes it visually smoother
can you maybe crop it more i could almost see something
that's crazy
what a shill ass company
its so funny, but also sad
see thats the best part
tak?
fsr frame gen is actually lower overhead than dlss3
yeah I've used it a few times with better performance

@analog sinew
well if you use dlss upscaling and fsr framegen thats the best you can get
still really curious about this transformer model
can anyone help me please?
You linked the website not your parts list
can someone help me please
click on the top one should work
Shampa can u help me perhaps
I can see from the url it's just the site
wait iāll retry
please can just any1 help me with my 60he rgb lighting

What is your budget if 1k is too much
That all looks reasonable, except overpaying for Windows.
like 700-900ā¬
oh okay thanks
thatll still be 1kš
If you want to get it to 700 range you might wanna go with am4 cpu and mobo

B450 mobo with like ryzen 5600 and ddr4 ram
could drop the psu to 650w with this setup too
if you're at like 900⬠couldn't you save a bit more
do you have any form of income
yeah ig but you could say that at every budget
Also dont get a 3060
as soon as i choose a budget for the cpu it wont show me the prices of them
100 eur doesnt get you that much further after ~1k
what cpu would you recommend as of the am4
something like 5700 altho im not that familiar with am4
5700x3d
