Only to realize the specified ARM has up to 51 I/O ports.
Is there something I don't get here or would that mean some keys of the keyboard need an sort of extension where it translates a number of key inputs into a single ports ( Aka possibly some keys has more input delay than most?) Can anyone with more expertise make any sense of this?

yesnt i guess this somewhat depends on how you define GPIO. the IO pins on the GD32F4XX series are somewhat general but not all pins can do everything. theres 16 IO pins that support ADC input

Not all esp32 support usb otg, which is needed to act as a usb host. You can get a usb host module if your esp32 doesn’t have otg. Without enumeration, the keyboard will not work

Nvidia are starting to charge premium just for features at this point

I'll be okay with it if it's 70-100% more raw raster performance for a 70% price uplift
