Depends on the tasks, if it's just gaming, then yes. If it's more towards a core-heavy workload, then the 5950 has 8 more cores, even if they are a bit slower.

That said, if you want a cheap upgrade for gaming, 5700X3D is much cheaper than doing a full platform jump to AM5

You might not even need to upgrade if you're playing at 4K or closer to 4K but only you know your own needs

On linux global hotkeys are a thing on x11 for wayland you need to support the global keybinds portal. This works on pretty much every desktop environement, except Gnome of course.

On kde wayland you can whitelist xwayland applications to use global hotkeys.

OBS simply has not added support for that portal yet, not really too much to blame on them, just wayland struggles. It also kind of needs to run natively on wayland.

I did notice the doubling of fps avg in Baldur's Gate from 60 to target 120fps, however the gpu isn't fully occupied at this moment as well because my 3600 is the bottleneck

and for zig i dont know while you need llvm to compile it
they did want to remove the llvm part of zig which i know is used for c code interop but not sure how much its used for compiling zig code it self
the code isent even using standard library so their should be no overhead
one thing that makes me wonder is with what optimization was it compiled because a good compiler will just remove the pointless code if any optimization was enabled

It probably super depends on Motherboard, but most motherboards follow AMD's recommendation to wire the graphics card to a dedicated set of PCIe lanes, one SSD also gets a set of 4x dedicated lanes, and then any additional storage goes through the chipset which has another set of dedicated lanes

So following this no ammount of SSDs will affect the x16 slot
