DLSS2 I just can't notice at all when it's running, and when it comes to a good implementation of DLSS3 it's also imperceptable

If anything in certain games DLSS2 just looks better than native AA, somehow it fixes some jagged edges in trees and stuff

And especially in Hogwarts Legacy DLSS3 was just insane free performance with no visual drawbacks I could even notice

i think the 7900 gets a bit hotter than a 4080? (I would probably go with a 4070 super if I didnt buy a 7900xt earlier and I am still very happy with my card, so both are fine)

The data represents the polling rate of a Ninjutso Sora v2 at 8k Polling Rate i ran with 2 different cables.

The first graph shows the polling rate data using the generic USB-C to A Wooting cable included with every 60HE.
The second graph shows the polling rate data using Ninjutsos Cable specifically made to run at 8k Polling.

Needless to say that the 2nd graph shows the polling rate being inconsistent compared to 1st graph.

In other terms: Your cable does have better signal shielding, granting a more consistent flow of data having no issues at 8k Hz.

• 8k basically means USB High-Speed but all cables should met the rating for High-Speed. There are no Low- or Full-Speed cables anymore. Only a captive cable can be Full-Speed only these days.
• Cables aren't tested by using a polling rate test. To test cables an eye test should be performed. But I can see that a polling rate test may can indirectly test the cable quality.

A bad cable likely lead to communication issues, like CRC errors in the data transfer. In that case the host should retry the transfer which would lead to variates in the input delay which the polling rate tester likely can pick up.

Meaning a polling rate tester should not pick up the cable quality reliably. As long as a cable is good enough to not cause re-transmissions there would be no impact on the delay. So only if the cable is really bad you should see that with a polling rate tester. But I doubt that a polling rate tester would work good enough to distinguish the quality of good cables.

It would be interesting to actually test that out, like if that can be really used and how meaningful that actually is. If I ever went to become a doctor this would maybe be a topic I would be interested to check out. 😄

tbh, in my particular use case it was actually quite nice to see if Wootings generic cable could compete with a cable that was particularly made stiffer and with thicker wires inside. At least according to Ninjutso. Now i simply know i can still use Wootings cable and have a more stable signal than the cable that was specifically advertised and recommended to be used with the 8k Dongle

Besides, Mouse Tester is useful for a lot of things. Not just seeing if your mouse works at the polling rate the manufacturer advertises
