Moving on, the current issue is I have noticing my 5700xt is barely adequate for 1440p, in monster hunter world, the cpu is at 40-60% busy while gpu is 100% with fps going average 60fps

AM4 is still super relevant atm, more competitive than arrow lake

a game at 720p upscaled low settings is gonna be cpu bound but at 4k ultra it's gonna be gpu bound, roughly speaking

so the question is more to which it tends or what you are likely to set it to

10 years is a long time for a cpu, you might get away with it in some game but 4 cores and 4 threads if you had a mid range intel cpu from 2014 is going to be pretty brutal in modern games
