reef patrol
#

You have to use the actual emoji

umbral heron

There ya go hanaAYAYA

Ok got it xd

reef patrol

Aaah. I don't have that emoji. Curse you windows 😄

wheat plume

does typing out this code actually make the emote appear?

If they can do like 5.5ghz in games it would contribute to perf gain not being <10%.

astral haven

but thing is the problem with mv3 was that you couldnt use that long of lists, but well most people dont add their own lists, and even I who added their own lists still only has around 200k block rules, which is far less than the 330k that mv3 allows

#

and sure mv2 was unlimited but it is how it is

#

the ublock default list is 55k total

minor zealot
#

So i know you can add layers and remap keys but i was wondering if for example if i press a certain key combo i can get arrow keys permanently on that specific layer becouse i like reading on my pc and need my arrow keys, would be annoying to keep pressing FN+set key for a arrow key.

umbral heron
#

That's what profiles are for duck_bopping

minor zealot
umbral heron
#

Depends on the layout you want to use, if you like 60 or want to mod your keyboard with 3rd party cases go for 60, if you like 80 go for 80

minor zealot
#

well ive always had 100% but almost never use the numpad, idc for modding or 3rd party cases so i think the 80 would be better for me tbh

umbral heron
#

Then go for 80 hana_Yes
My advice is - if you're using numpad for calculations, then Fn layer or new profile for num keys is perfectly enough
However if you're playing GTA or any other game that uses numpad, go for full-size

bc reasons

astral haven

does your mobo not have optical?

gusty kiln

Your only options will be jank shit

fickle ore
astral haven
#

wut

fickle ore
#

audio switcher not amp/dac necessarily

#

idk

astral haven
#

ok there are 2 parts, analog to digital and the thing that needs drivers

#

if you use usb, the thing that needs drivers is outside of the pc

#

if you use optical, its inside

gusty kiln
#

Also why do you need rca in?

fickle ore
#

I suppose optical in works then as the link between PC and the audio switch. Then I'd just need 3.5mm out for crappy iems

fickle ore
gusty kiln
#

Then you can just get an amp

astral haven
#

6.25 to 3.5mm adapters are usually included in the box

gusty kiln

3.5 input, headphone out, rca out

fickle ore
#

jds is I believe unavailable in EU

hold up, whats wrong with the k11

wud work with my active speakers as well

gusty kiln
astral haven

doesnt need 3.5 input

gusty kiln

He wants to use 3.5

astral haven
#

output, which is ez with 6.25 to 3.5 adapter

gusty kiln
#

He needs 3.5 input and rca output

astral haven
#

we discussed and figured out that optical would work

fickle ore
astral haven
#

you can always nab a 4.4mm cable for one of your devices, probably headphones

gusty kiln
#

Just use a 3.5 to rca cable from your motherboard to amp

#

You just need an amp with a rca out and in

astral haven
#

there arent any decent amps for cheaper than k11

#

i would bet that 3.5mm and 3.5mm to rca extensions are all that are needed, no amp or dac involved, but 🤷

astral haven

the real question is how many audio outs are needed, 2 or 3?

gusty kiln

Bad idea tbh

astral haven
#

🤷 as long as he doesnt get andromedas and planars at the same time, itll be fine

fickle ore

1 iem + 1 headphone + 2 active speakers (RCA) plugged in at all times if possible. And either optical or 3.5 mm between PC and the switch/ampdac thingy

can the iems or the headphones' cables be swapped for 4.4mm cables?

astral haven
#

you probably wont get more than a little bit off the average

harsh flume
#

so liek maybe 900-950 for a 4080 super?

fickle ore
#

@gusty kiln Ok I reduced my reqs. Just need something passive that doesn't double amp my active speakers. Only 1 headphone jack out. I guess in the end it doesnt even matter if its 3.5mm or 6.25 mm bc there are adapter for each to make them smaller/larger? And 3.5mm in or optical in to connect with PC.

#

Looks like OL switcher can do that bc it has both 3.5 mm in and out then just adapter it out

astral haven
#

the ol switcher is specifically for attenuating...

fickle ore
#

fml ok lets give up

astral haven
#

k11 will work great for you, you just need a 4.4 cable for your iems or headphones

fickle ore
#

It'd be nice but it'd autoforce it's DAC stuff on me and idk how it would handle my speakers

astral haven
#

line out = perfect for speakers

#

and i dont think your issue is with dac, i think your issue is with drivers, and if you use optical, theres no drivers (beyond what youve already got)

#

if you want the volume knob to work on the speakers, the ol switcher would work

fickle ore
#

so if the dac can be passed im up for it

astral haven
#

the 789 would be perfect for you, its a shame noone makes a new version of it

fickle ore
#

Ah well. Maybe one day. The benefit of external DAC would be great to have occasionally for music when not gaming. A switch for that would be even nicer if possible.

compared to a bus very big no

#

and then you get german cities where you got subway, s-bahn, tram and busses

#

I don't even know what the actual difference between a subway and an s-bahn is at this point, they cover about the same area and both go above and below ground

gloomy linden
#

does there need to be a distinction?

old marlin
#

well they call them different things

#

apparently the difference is that the s-bahn is on the regular train network

reef patrol
#

Was about to say.

old marlin
#

altho it basically has it's own network in some places

reef patrol
#

It gets really hairy and complex - But ultimately it's mostly an expectation of where it is and how much traffic it handles.

#

Metros are typically with minimal grade shifts, and often underground.
Light rail often uses existing railroads where possible.

iron wave
old marlin
reef patrol
#

In Copenhagen it's fairly distinct.

We have intercity rail, which goes to the rest of the country (and Europe), these rails are also used by the "S-train", which is basically light rail for getting around in the city (electric trains), then we have bus services. The metro has its own system of rail.

#

It's all based on an ancient plans. Fingers reaching out from the center using the "normal" rail system. Buses connecting between them. And now the Metro serving as a ring around the central area and extending a bit out in places (like the airport)

reef patrol
halcyon moss
reef patrol

reef patrol

We don't have a lot of Metro.
People hated it being built, because it went on 24/7 and was causing people genuine headaches. Had to move people to hotels in rotation at one point.

It's more expensive than other transport - which also isn't helping adoption. And they've recently been involved in a scandal about staff being told to get X number of fines a day, which means they've been very aggressive and profiling 😄

But performance is hardly if at all impacted yet everyone just wants to hope denuvo is at fault so everything is solved by removing it

Oh sure
If someone installs breaks on a car, but they'll be done incorrectly and constantly clamped on a wheel, no wonder that removing them will fix some driving issues KEKW

Or is this just some satire site

Okay seems like they are real but like worse than hardcore stereotypes Linux users

Due to this experience with 3MDeb, we banned the entire country of Poland for life.

lol

ashen spindle
#

Germany Poland an Texas banned for life because allegedly one person in each place wasn’t nice

#

Should just ban the US and not just Texas tbf then

steep creek
#

if someone from a country files a chargeback will they ban their country for life from buying their products too then hm

#

first time ive seen something like this before

halcyon moss
#

too much text, cant be arsed to read

ashen spindle
#

If Germany wasn’t already banned I’d do that just for fun

#

If your company acts that stupid it doesn’t really deserve anything lol

steep creek
#

i imagine people doing this from different countries so basically no one can buy their products, effectively bankrupting the company lol

#

very bizzare, i dont have words

ashen spindle
#

Maybe all the complaints about the individual people are valid and coreboot is bad and the people using it are horrible, don’t know, don’t care, if your conclusion is to ban a country based on one persons response to you that’s brain damage

steep creek
#

i dont know tbh if the allegations are valid or not, but yeah their decision seems way too overboard

#

would at worst maybe sever ties with that person / 3mdeb

umbral heron
#

And just to put this all into perspective, the average hourly wage of a firmware developer in the US is $75, and in Poland, where 3MDeb is located, it’s $25. When adjusted for cost of living, $150 an hour in Poland is equivalent to making $300-$375 an hour in the US.
Awae? What does it matter? You pay for service, not for where this service is offered? Think

now i cant tell anymore if its satire or real

yeah I first thought ok cool read, then I thought I got got then I saw its real?

so I think its what happens if the arch BTW stereortype personifies or something

lol, this takes it to the next level

idk how its possible that this article gets more bizzare the more you read

this article is completely wild

"hey guys you fucked the game I paid for, can it be unfucked? no? okay thank youuuu <<3"

ashen spindle
#

see thats the issue, 99% of cases thats not on denuvo but the devs

smoky frigate
#

that makes opening a support discord even more bizarre

#

schluchtenscheißers never learn

ashen spindle
#

if you should be able to pirate it for preservation and what not is a different conversation and fair, but basically any performance issue that gets blamed on denuvo is dev skill issue

#

so maybe that was suppoed to also clear that up in parts idk

smoky frigate
#

attempting to secure the 24 hour release window is fair game, I got nothing against that, I can wait 😛

ashen spindle
#

but yes it should've been obvious that on the internet this wouldn't go civilized

#

I mean my personal opinion is that if it's singleplayer it's fair to put it on for idk 6-24 months afterwards you wont gain much anymore so just remove it then

smoky frigate
#

at the very least when it inevitably cripples the game

#

I find it amusing that some publishers (ubisoft) install actual cracks into later releases to get rid of overzealous copy protection

ashen spindle
#

thats usually when they use more than denuvo and their own drm bites itself or nobody knows how to decouple that

could somebody possibly educate me with this. I remember asking in the past when 80HE was first announced if whether they'd eventually implement the 8K tech onto their 60HE. Was told that the MCU necessary was too big to fit onto the PCB.

When they talked about 8kHz polling. The big thing that got me in that regard was them explaining "synchronization," showcasing that they themselves were going to have TRUE 8kHz polling.

Nuphy Air60HE has peaked my interest since they themselves have a product that claims 8kHz polling as well. But the thing that's confusing me, is that it's a thin lower profile keyboard.

So my question is how was it possible for Nuphy to pull that off? Or is it possibly there's an alternative MCU they're using that's just as efficient as Wootings with a smaller form factor?

I pretty much only trust Wooting in regards to Hall Effect keyboards. Yes that is very ignorant. But I am not very knowledgeable with it. W60HE was my very first experience with Hall Effect. Everything's been flawless. I pretty much only have trust with Wooting as the reliable keyboard with this tech in the realm of HE keyboards.

I am trying my best to expand my mind though by trying to understand the nuances of this to be able to at least be appreciative and considerate of other alternatives.

I apologize for making a long message, just was genuinely curious. Any info would be appreciated! Thank You for your time

wootings 60he could get 8khz it just needs a new pcb/mcu
