and some of them tend to be better at the same rated spec, better OC or easier to guarantee the XMP etc.

on DDR4 you had samsuing B-die as the basically best clocking kit

doest matter if you run them at jedec or simple XMP profiles but for higher clocks it can help find better bins

The only reason why I'd consider a PSU with a lot of wattage is that there are models that have a fan that only turns on when a certain amount of power is drawn. So I prefer for the build to never trigger the fan.

well until the parts are out it's also hard to have very accurate data

best example being stuff like 40 series having oversized coolers because early sample made higher tdp an expectation

or how we knew zen5 changes but not that they barely translate into gaming uplifts

so we know they use tiles for the cpu and based on MTL we know that the latency increases a bit which can hurt gaming performance so that could offset other ipc gains but just cant make accurate predictions till its out

we just know it basically is a year delayed and we had these early projection slide leaked

which shows a like 3% performance increase in ST

but those were projections that could either be surpassed or similar to zen5 the synthetics dont work as well to represent average consumer usecases

LED driver PWM signals cause slight vibrations in the capacitors around it. We’ve done what we can to prevent (different capacitor material + pcb placement), but there’s a little bit we can’t get rid of. There’s a very small group of people that seems more sensitive to it, only thing we can do is lower brightness

It’s black and it’s great :) going from the 13 pro I must say I’m pleasantly surprised I didn’t think it’d be much of an upgrade but there’s already a few noticeable things I like, fingerprints are similar to the 13 pro finish, not the best for the sides but the back is good.
