this is ms you’re talking about
would be nice if it happens but i’m not that optimistic just yet
the marketing guys went hard on that one
The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold might be the best looking folding phone yet! Get a Prism glass screen protector HERE: https://www.dbrand.com/buy/prism Just for the record... Samsungs Folding Phone has never failed one of my durability tests. I think google might have tried to go too thin, and put the antenna lines in the wrong spot...
jre is my goat
~~Is there any way to create live USB with Windows 10?
~~nvm, made it work on Linux
Doesn't he just destroy stuff for the sake of destroying stuff?
I have the Pixel Fold and it has been fine.
He'll do stuff to phones that no one in their right mind would do, and I guess people feel some sort of placebo effect from it.
I mean, it is nice knowing whether your device has a flaw with it's durability and just knowing that will prevent it from being used in a way that could break it
even if someone isn't trying to bend their phone, what do a lot of people do with their phones?
put them in their back pocket and sit down with them
not lazy == expensive
folding on steroids
I don't know a single person that does this.
I wish more tech had durability tests, having companies being held accountable in public for durability flaws is a way for consumers to know and for companies to improve
+rgb
a lot of women do this
fridges
can they survive nuclear blast like old fridges??

uk waht we do with foldable phones
he forgot the milk
he needs to clear the negative status effect from the radiation ofc
anyways where's the sleeping tests on stand up desks
u could lay on it and automatic up and down

i see what u did there, nerd.

but i meant is so that he can go back home

ima put lord of rings and take a nap with cat
my cat is so pretty kind and well educated ❤️
i love my pets
Monsters.
I mean, only a monster won't have front pockets
Sorry for the ping, phone is acting weird.
hum
i think my finger is broken
or infect as hell
hopefully meds kick in

hopefully the dude didnt tighten this too much
I take my phone out and mount it on my phone holder when driving, if I'm at a restaurant I place it on the table face down. I was there for bendgate
yo, which wooting is better, 60 or 80, i dont care about sound, just performance for gaming and also is the 80 gonna come with the lekker 60 v2 switches or the v1?
Guys what’s a better headset than the hyperx cloud II? I want to replace mine with something better I’ve had them for about 5 years now lol
PC38x
60 is easy to get, 80 is a preorder, may take awhile. You get v1.5's on the 60 unless you select module and select switches specifically, the 80 comes with the v2s. The 80 has 8 kHz polling, all other keyboards are 1 kHz polling.
so... its a iphone 15 with new camera (as always) and a dedicated photo touch sensor/button
I hope the cooling is better than the 15 for sure
I'm glad I live in the US
oh yeah forgot about that
i dont really notice it that much tbh
Yeah that's fair, especially if someone has a case
idrc abt 8k cause i dont think its noticable, what are the difference between these switches? is it worth getting 80 for the v2, and is the angle thing on 80 a big game changer compared to the 60
Do the pro iPhones have better cooling cuz having titanium does not help em. Fastest point of escape is the copper coil in the back followed by the screen which is only because it is so thin.
Supposedly the new A18 pro chip is meant to be 30% cooler
Oh well okay
it was supposed to be in the 15 but they had issues with it iirc
Ohhhhh I didn't know that
i really dont remember exactly what it was but there was something about the 15s were weird and they had to change it last second
and i cant seem to find any info online about it
No you're good, especially with the new iPhone trending right now it would be hard to find something like that
For some reason my apostrophe key: '
Doesnt type on my keyboard with a Scandinavian layout.
It worked when I switched to Canadian French keyboard layout, but I want my keyboard to just work.
It used to work and then just suddenly stopped.
The key still works fine to type *
I figure its a windows bug, but does anyone here know how to fix it?
I reset my keyboard and it still doesnt work, so its not on Wootings end it seems
i have no idea wtf a scandinavian keyboard is supposed to type when that key is pressed but there's a lot of scandinavians on here so maybe we'll get an answer
xD
i think nico is probably just crazy
Apostrophe having ass
LF sm who can help me w/modding shit
i tried it on my pc and it works when i set my language to danish lol
hello, uh i need help putting my stablizers back together any helpers? lol
I'm kinda stumped
It works on the login screen
It works in safe mode
But not in regular windows
quality windows bug
lool
either get pc37x/pc38x or get separate headphones and mic
tbh i only used artisan
they are the best pads
other than them id recommend LGG
should just be the key lower left to enter
interesting... So even Samsungs older phones like the S22U are capable of charging with 45W

and even the A52, which should not be able to at all
so i guess the limit wasn't physically set, but only software limited
heya everyone i just got my wooting 60he+ keyboard, lets say if i were to use a different cable than the one that came with the box, will it affect the performance? such as the rapid trigger and such
depends on the quality of the cable
also try to be shorter than 2m
the S22U was advertised with 25W
i should know, because i was eyeing for it for quite a long time. Wanted a phone again with an integrated pen without the necessity to have a freaking case for it AND the S22U released a day before my 30th birthday
Pen is so 💀
Only feature I found useful is putting a note on the aod
yea, it's not the best, taking actual notes on a note isn't the best use for the pen
the pen is best for using as a remote for the camera or other apps
phone is too small combined with the pen being too small it's hard to grip
I mostly used it whenever a design idea comes to mind, it prevents me from having a bunch of sticky notes in my pocket at the end of the day
My phone is a bit bigger than a note/ultra, it's a fold, but even keeping the pen on me all day every day I never use it
My father doesn't like writing on his phone so he says he's been wanting a phone with a pen for a while
my note 2 was one of my most used tools for the first few years of our company, did so many product design drafts with the pen on that thing that ended up being used
but in classic samsung fashion they had a great feature and then removed it for later gen devices
every website and news page i could find mentions 45w
from early 2022
it was just bad cuz it wasnt really faster
i like the pen actually. I can mark stuff on Discord with it, i can use it remotely for media control, taking notes, sketch stuff quickly and much more
i can even spot fake links by hovering the pen over a suspicious link
It's neat that you can hover over some stuff, like tab previews in chrome
But it's not useful enough to be justified for me
well, for me the S Pen became a tool i'm using daily and can't imagine a life without that feature
I don't need a pen much anymore but it was invaluable back then
if I had an idea I could just jot it down on the spot instantly
Yeah I could definitely see it being useful, I thought I would like it a lot more than I did
does anyone have a problem using analog in a game? I have a issue that only occurs when using analog movement. When I look around in a game the mouse wont stay locked in my game window, it goes over to the other monitor and stuff. I have tried windows + p and disabling the other monitor but no luck. When I disable analog movement i no longer have this issue
The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design is a tri-fold phone with a 10.2-inch screen that folds at two points.

Interesting what they've been able to cram into that
guys as a competitive fps player, would u guys reccommened the wooting60he or the new wooting80 coming out? (idc about 8k)
whatever size you prefer
i prefer 60 but the comfort of 60 is worse compared to the 80 right? cause of the angle, and the 80 will have less wobbly switches while the 60 is wobbly isnt it
you can just get the same switches on the 60
its more expensive though
and if you prefer a 60 or 80 layout is preference
yeah but the 60 doesnt have those angle thingies under while the 80 has em
doesnt that mean more fatigue over time?
preference
so, theres no mechanical advantage between the 80 and 60, its just different switches, layout?
is the 60 gonna keep on getting hardware updates, or are they gonna discontinue it at some point, because alot of companies promise that and then stop
Gonna get updates
they still support the first gen boards with non HE switches
so no its not getting discontinued
alright, i guess ill go with the 60 since i never see a pro player use 80 ngl
and yes there isnt any advantage it's just whatever layout you prefer and all that
no you should base it on what YOU prefer to use
because none of them are delivered yet unless youre talking about other boards
yeah ive been using %100 my whole life and i need something smaller
im talking about other boards, for sure if it was any good for gaming they would have used it before wooting came out w the rapid triggers
f keys yes but i can manage with the function key, i dont mind, arrow keys sometimes when typing but very rarely
i also came from a 100% to a 60 and it was relatively easy to transition
yeah im just worried about how they improved some comfort things for the 80 cause of the feedback they got from the 60
like the angle shit
is the wooting60 causing any discomfort or fatigue after gaming for multiple hours
like over 5-6
depends on the person
its the same as any other keyboard some people can do 24 hours some people need a break after 1
there isnt any magic difference that changes a lot for most people, even different tilt angles are the same for most people
i get what u mean but is it really preference? like bro a keyboard where u cant rest ur forearm must be uncomfortable after time
yes because some people dont rest in on they keyboard and hover above it?
do u think anyone in the pro scene would switch to a %80? cause i dont feel like itd be good for gaming unless its for buy binds or mmorpg games
I was resting my wrist on the table since i got the tofu60 redux case i use wrist rest bc the tofu’s angle is high
never tried a %60, since u got a wooting60 though, is the angle high?
Why wouldn't it?
Its low
It’s relatively low
takes up more space for keys that arent used in fps games
and people still use fullsize so that clearly isnt an issue
It's only horizontal space that matters in this case
And 80HE is barely wider than 60HE
so what, is the 80 a better purchase for competitive gaming cause it has more features, and its newer?
Both are good, but it more of a choice of which layout you prefer
is it really that hard to believe it's just a preference of what layout you want to use
yes, it has good features that the 60 doesnt have while taking up more space which i dont want
Then go with the 60he
and what about the l45 and l60 switches, is it just a sound difference?
just feel
L60’s are like mx reds l45’s are like mx silvers
no idea what you mean by that, first time getting a keyboard worth its price
never modded anything in my whole life
U never used a mechanical keyboard?
na
Ah
so do i just go for the l60 v2 since its the newest?
and will the keyboard come stock with the v2 or is it a thing ill have to buy seperately
The keyboard gonna arrive with v1.5’s
is that enough, i thought id need the v2's since theyre less wobbly n shit
which btw its essentially the same as the v2s
oh wdym
its how heavy the springs are in that switch
V1. Old switch, wobbly as the folks say
V1.5 Improved switch, made by one manufacturer
V2 Improved switch (and a bit more), made by a different manufacturer - only preinstalled in 80HE and available as loose switch packs)
would any human notice it while focused on the game though?
yes
i would say its quite noticiable after a long session
Yes u can notice it
Yeah, the difference of 10~15g is very noticeable
is there a enough difference between the v1.5 and the v2 for someone to upgrade it or would u say its like getting a superlight 2 when u have superlight 1?
so l45 better then im guessing
for long sessions
Nope, that's preference thing
Some people like softer switches, some like stiffer ones
does the l45 have v2 or v1.5, how does it exactly work
you really just have to try it out, theres no way anyone other then you can decide if its better or worse
yes
v1.5s come with pre-assembled 60HE and 2HE
v2s come with pre-assembled 80HE and in packs
dang, that sucks cause ive never tried any of these things in my life before and i dont know the differences, all i know is that my current steelseries keyboard takes alot of power to press keys if ud ask me
but it comes with the l60 v1.5 right? ill have to spend extra buck for the l45
do you know the product name?
ill find it for u 1 sec
If you with preassembled one it comes with L60s
If you go with module you can pick either L45s or L60s

there are v1 and v2 L45 on Wootings website
whats ur point here
isnt it more expensive when adding to cart using the module?
the l60s are definitely lighter compared to what i got right
maybe the l60 v1.5 will be enough?? idk man, never used anything like that as i was saying
he'll have to buy a case
ya ofc
Try L60s first, if you want to change switches to other ones in the future, you can do so in like 30 minutes
alright, ill check the price differences between using module and buying it stock, and the price for 45's and ill make up my mind depending on that
im still using v1.5's
you act like its old
or well more like waiting for Raw HEs 40gs to come in..
oo nice
just got mine today
L80v2s
my boards are both on v1
i should be by the end of this week
hopefully
not again
cant check shit rn cause in a ranked match
whats the difference between etched and dobule shot keycaps?
etched ??
Laser-etched ABS
is it important to have either one when i dont travel w it?
u need keycaps and i would just go with the double shot pbt keycaps
does anyone have any experience with truthear zero IEMs? Are they good for gaming and occasionally for music?
i have zero reds
is there a reason??
i never travel w my keyboard so the durability wouldnt really matter, i just need something that is yk, good
i dont travel either but the double shot pbt keycaps are just better the legends never gonna come off
how long would the legends last normally?
its up to the user
do you like them? ive never used iems, ive only ever used closed back headphones
i switched from a closed back wireless headset to iem, and i have to say the IEM's preforms way better
i using them both for gaming and music as well
is there a major difference between blue and reds? ~$10 difference
minimum 8 hours a day lets say
i never used blues soo dont know
yeah u can remove the legends on etched keycaps easily in 3 months or so lol
Reds have more bass iirc?
ah okay, well thanks anyways. ill look into it
what about the other
u cant
atleast i never managed to wear down my legends on the double shot pbt keycaps that i own for a year atleast
from the graph comparisons blue has way more
it seems to be that red is overall the more perfered of the two
Oh maybe i misremembered then
red also comes with an impedance adapter to boost the bass a bit
what about the KZ ZS10 Pro?~~ its on sale atm~~ it was only for the color
I was thinking personally of grabbing a 560s just to try em out
i just dont wanna go with headsets anymore
after a month the ear cups the inside of them are dirty as hell and cleaning doesnt help with it
I think kz has some some questionable/scummy stuff, I'm not up to date on that drama but I would be wary of it
I remember hearing a lot about it maybe like a year ish ago
i just searched about it and yeah, reddit seems to be pretty disappointed
damn alright, i mean only the WASD would wear down w the other one right?
why start with hd560s
start with hifiman arya organics
👍
should be a nice starter set
Perhaps, just wanna try stuff out with the new knowledge i have with my pc38x
because the HD560s are accessible, inexpensive, inoffensive
I'm looking to maybe get the he400se
Both that the Arya Organic are offensive imo.
Both have sharp treble. But at least I managed to fix the 560S with EQ. Didn't manage to fully eliminate the Arya sharpness.
Hifiman are quite incompetent a lot of the time.
based on measurements it doesn't look like it has sharp treble..
It was very high up. Some kind of resonance.
I haven't tried 560s but I have had other sennies and they don't seem to have sharp treble so maybe you're just sensitive to it?
I have never heard anyone else say this
some beyers have "sharp treble" according to most people
sennies almost never
Maybe it's my unit.
Look at this:
The mountain on sample 2 here is certainly how it feels like. Get this sharp zing feeling in my ear quite easily with them.
I EQed that region down and it was fine. Good even.
That exact range where it's elevated is where my fatigue comes from.
based on all the other measurements it's not elevated at all
so by that logic you should have the same fatigue with almost every other headphone
I know the 560S has a newer revision. Not entirely sure which I have.
nevermind the ones that actually have an elevated treble
Well I don't. I don't think the measurement is incorrect.
I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just saying your experience doesn't reflect the hundreds of other people and the hundreds of other measurements taken of this headphone
based on that outlier status I don't know if your advice is sound in this particular case
If other models do not have that issue then I'd easily recommend a 560S over the Arya Organic.
I think he'd enjoy the DT1990's more.
Solderdude finds the 5k peak audible although clearly not as much as me.
(If I were to guess I'd say it probably comes down to my specific unit)
Return it for warranty repair?
I doubt it would count for anything like that.
Have you tried a blind a/b test to confirm that?
To confirm what.
That your headset is broken.
Can headphones be returned for unit variation? I'd guess not.
Besides I bought it a long time ago. It wasn't costly.
iFone 16 looks nice but
- Too big
- 60 Hz unless you get the Pro which is even bigger
- Terrible language support
If iPhone 16 Mini with 120 Hz existed I would easily buy it.
Honesty I’m fine with 60hz on my iphone
I would have been had I not owned a 120 Hz one now. I don't want to regress.
It’s the best 60hz screen I have witnessed so far.
same, high refresh rate not a feature I feel like spending extra for on a phone
What does that mean. Apple BFI?!
Everything actually looks so god damn smooth for a 60hz screen
Looking at my iPhone 12 is an eye sore compared to my Zenfone 10.
60Hz is better ! turn that refresh rate down 👇 🗣️📢 💪
nightman (60Hz enjoyer)
I mean unless you're gaming having higher refresh is mostly a battery drain imo
I don't really care if the UI gets slightly smoother or whatever
It looks a lot better when scrolling which is what I spend half of my time doing.
I’ve seen 120hz phones myself as well, but 60hz on my current iPhone is smooth as well
I can live with scrolling being a bit blurrier on my phone
Imagine being able to tell any difference in the first place
oh there's definitely a difference, I just don't think its worth it on a damn phone
on my computer monitor though, definitely
240 Hz iPhones when?
I'll turn on my 120Hz again and see if I can tell any difference :copium:
having my main 144hz monitor next to a 60hz is night and day
games feel laggy on 60hz even if the fps is way higher than 60 at all times
and am not even a competitive sweatlord, it just feels bad to look at
Sample-and-hold makes 60 fps looks stuttery and like it's vibrating. I have demonstration footage.
60 fps on my CRT looks very smooth and of course crystal clear.
I use 120 hertz myself. Can't wait for 540 hz to go mainstream!
it looks better on crt for sure but I wouldn't call any crt crystal clear, they always slightly fuzzy
This vibration is how it looks to our eyes (just not slowed down).
you don't get that horrid sharp pixel look on a crt though that ruins any old game on an lcd
source mlid
userbenchmark is throwing a party rn
the site you can trust with unbiased reviews
the revision only changed the cable and the hd560s doesn't have sharp treble so it's weird 😅
People stop playing mobile games when?
what? 240 comes when people stop playing games? that makes no sense
Normally im skeptical of everything he says but it all matches up with mindfactory's numbers and what youtubers have seen with their affiliate links
Also this isn't like... a hardware leak
It's sales numbers
Mlid hardware leaks are jokes at best xd
yeah but if hes used as source that's the same
For this topic im not too worried about it. We ain't talking about performance predictions we're talking about sales numbers and welp generally distributor stuff is the one thing he tends to get correct
like either hes using accurate numbers and then use those as sources or its the same nonexisten credibility from him lol
and no he has multiple times been extremely wrong about supply stuff lol
Still decently right i'd argue over his other leaks which are frankly memeworthy
no he's just as wrong there if not more lol
I'm not sure.
I only have the "old one" and not a lot of people said that the hd560s changed that much 🤷
@ashen spindle https://www.techspot.com/article/2893-amd-zen-5-cpu-pricing/
Hbu reported on it as well
i just recently bought a pair like 2 weeks ago or 3 and they dont have any sharp treble at all
Post in thread 'New version of Sennheiser HD 560S (!)' https://audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/new-version-of-sennheiser-hd-560s.40927/post-1729024
-3dB is quite an audible change. I measured it a few times with varying positions to be sure. Could be the pads (does not have to be the driver) and will check the next time I pull out the test system as that could shed a bit more light. I only have filtered HD560S so direct comparison is not...
I'm not saying its wrong because clearly zen4 sales went up but it's for one not a surprise secondly doesnt mean it makes sense quoting a notorious liar as source lol
Do you like them ?
I just have a bad unit apparently.
maybe or maybe not 🤷
I'm not a very treble sensitive person. But my 560S have really bad treble in the 5 kHz area as you see in Crinacle's sample 2.
(I haven't measured them so idk how elevated it exactly is but it makes for a quite fatiguing listen)
but why ?
Dunno
Who would buy a brand new 580 in 2024
Like... you can just buy used
and its even cheaper and u can spray paint it to white
This literally makes no sense
Radeon VR ready premium 💀
they are pretty good
nice ^^

Honestly my MSI board has been behaving very nicely recently. Maybe I will stick to MSI moving forward... But eh at lot of things can still change in 2 years.
I'm sure msi is decent these days but the image of how fuckin cheap and crappy they looked and were in the 00s still stays with me
tho i wish for more usb ports but im fine otherwise
Yeah we definitely have come a long way since then.
Their laptops are unfortunately still godawful.
Let me guess, you need more.
i have the same amount of ports lol
Honestly, huge amount of USB ports isn't necessary. You can always use hubs.
Now in this case being limited to 5gbps can suck.. but still.
i mean i want like 2 more not much
I have a 7 port powered hub on my desk
I will soon have one. Waiting for Aliexpress to ship it.
I will use an optical USB cable to my PC then a 7 port 10gbps powered HUB.
ezpz

rip hungary
i mean Amazon is not a thing in here anyway xd
can probably find something similar on your local electronic shop
or even cheaper on aliexpress
I hope we continue this trend of more usb c ports. I can’t wait for the day when I never use any other proprietary cable again

i mean usb-c is still far for become mainstream on mobos
very cursed io
Does need like two USB a ports or the PS2 port
where ps2 ports
Well I mean they should include that for mouse and keyboard
only ps2 ports on mobo 👀
xD
id support that trend but without wifi
Not everyone is lucky enough to have ethernet
Atleast the c ports are spaced apart far, so converters will actually fit
thats not my main issue
its that id like to choose what hogs pcie lanes
Are there not like versions of the boards that have wifi and other no wifi
m2 slots for wifi cards are keyed differently so they only take half lanes so its more efficient lane usage
and it's only via the chipset anyway
is it guaranteed chipset only?
yeah but an x1 or x4 slot means i can just put in smth completely different where id maybe like the lanes
like an nvme adapter card
or just a gpu on x1/x4 speed
if they would take lanes away from either gpu or primary nvme people would crucify the board if it's even on market lol
or like with am5 they couldnt even do it since that mandates things like tb4, pcie5 for primary nvme etc.
how is that enforced though
AMD specifices it for their chipsets
if its not naming conform they cant sell it under that brand name
i see
Beauty
didn’t that asrock board have some funny issue with vrms. i read that while ago here
I don't think that board is released yet
not issue just funny in the sense of overkill vrms on a watercooling board but nothing to cool the chipset
I'm so happy that the iphone is switching to USB-C, so many devices that don't use it should
i love your pfp
TY
aha that was it
yo im gonna buy a new mouse in 2 days
trying to decide between sora v2, superlight 2 or any other mouses u guys might recommened
i need some help deciding cause i cant even decide between the two, sora v2 is lighter but only 1k polling rate while the superlight 2 is 60 ish grams but supports up to 4k (realistically id only use up to 2k i think, idk, maybe sometimes 4k)
superlight is bigger than sora so i guess it depends on your handsize. you can compare sizes here https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/compare
both of the sizes are fine for me, i use a rival 3 which is bigger than all of them and sometimes i think id like it to be smaller
im not the best person to ask about mice as i just use a g502. maybe someone else can offer more help
hmm okay
imo 8k is pointless u can get good on 1k as well
yeah ofcourse, id never even touch 8k, battery drainer honestly
i mean anything higher than 1k is pointless
but if i ever was to higher my polling rate, id only go up to 4k which im not even sure about, itd most likely be 2k
high polling on a wireless mouse is pointless imo, just drains battery
isnt 2k alright though
alright well im still unsure what mouse to get
i like the lamzu atlantis mini and the egg op1 8k
i only heard of the atlantis
i see you mentioned the superlight 2, i would stay away from that mouse personally, didnt like it and the scroll is still terrible
my copy had faulty m3 switch and couple of my friends have faulty encoders
why does %32 of the pro scene use superlight 1 and %11 use the superlight 2 then if its so bad
sponsors
youre the first person ive seen that said anything bad about the mouse
i saw mansen typing, how many superlights did you go through? i forgot 😅
my superlight also had scroll wheel issues. i changed to g502 after that haha
i mean i would stay away from any logitech products
but battery life on the logi mice ive had have always been great, so thats nice
eh thought it was more 😛
its a good mouse, just doesnt fit me and you should keep the scroll wheel issues in mind ;)
at least logi just gives you a new mouse
wdym
so if its faulty, they give a new one?
also the place id buy it from is irl and they have warranty, if there is a problem w the scroll they would either fix it or replace it wouldnt they
they gave me a new one, this was from a local store though and not logitech directly
did it have the same scroll problem
yes
wdym by scroll wheel issues though
basically if scrolled up, it would scroll down
if i scrolled down, it would scroll up
Probably dust getting in the encoder, most common issue with them
randomly*
happened almost every time towards the end on my unit
yea could have been dust. i tried cleaning it a couple times, but issue came back few days after
Can sometimes fix it by turning your mouse upside and running the scrollwheel fast up and down your mousepad - usually comes back though eventually
my superlight 1 is still holding up after these years surprisingly, no scroll issue, just got a bit yellow after all these years 😅 superlight 2 i got on release though, 2 days and the m3 switch broke
nice
i had two, one copy had this scroll wheel issue
the other ones side button started double clicking haha
As if the mushy side buttons weren't bad enough as is
lol yeah
anyways, typing on phone is getting annoying, take care guys, gn

goodnight
"please renew your clicking subscription or your mouse will stop functioning permanently"
Gnite
ive watched a bunch of optimum mouse videos and he never mentioned any problems like these
wont happen for everyone. if you want the mouse, by all means get it
just sharing my personal experiences
ever since i switched from roccat kone xp air to the TB burst II air it is great lul
what about the sora v2?
sure it was weird to go from 99 gramm to 47 gramm but it was worth it LUL
also the people i know that have used it havent mentioned anything about scroll issues either so irdk'
no idea why all of u had those problems
i mean the scroll wheel issue is rare but it can happen after u using it
or before u get it
ngl the superlight also seems heavy in todays standards, ik the finalmouses are shitty but theyre hella light
Wouldn't say it's rare it's probably one of the most common issues among most mice
so its not a superlight thing
i meant rare that u got the mouse with it
Some mice tend to be more prone to it
not like its rare to get it
superlight best mouse
57 then i think
or below 50 with some mods
idk i use a 102 gram mouse and think its comfy
Did you try placing your mouse in a ultrasonic cleaner at 40-80 kHz?
but the lighter mice are also smaller
no i just rma'd it and asked for money back
so cant really compare
I want a levitating mouse. When is wooting making it? 😓
finalmouse fucks up over time but for comparision, its big and 37 grams though
i mean my mouse is the same size as the rival 3
yeah exactly, size doesnt really matter for the weight anymore idk
there are big light mouses
Superlight was the opposite of finalmouse advertised as 63grams but was usually around ~60
wdym the opposite
someone gotta make a lighter superlight then
yeah, im thinking of buying the superlight 2 but the only thing making me think twice is the weight in todays standards
do u use superlight 1 or 2
2
Finalmouse usually has lower advertised weight then what actual weight is
?
Has final mouse finalized the ULX yet?
they ulx got heavier multiple times
still lighter than superlights, the only problem w finalmouse is how limited edition they are, if ur mouse gets fucked for any reason or starts double clicking, youre cooked
Idk do they finalize anything QC is always sus
I think they finalize their reports on what they improve, but somehow its still the same
Honestly the viper v3 pro seems like a really good mouse but I can’t stand razer software
I bought the deathadder (wired) last week. The wired one. Kinda want to see if the shape works out for me.
I think finalmouses shape is really good but they haven’t seemed to finalize their products.
You like it?
i really dont care about the price as long as the product doesnt fuck up and lives up to the expectations
When they finally get around to making their centerpiece keyboard i will sit peacefully knowing i wont get it
Still waiting. Will have tomorrow 🙂
i mean you can get similar performing products for less
honestly man, im willing to pay anything like i said, i just want the performance im looking for in a mice
I don’t think that will ever release
I give it 10 years
what performance?
light, wireless, supports higher polling rate (realistically i think id only use up to 2k)
I want the XM2 8K with swappable buttons. But endgame gear releases so slowww. 😑
should be really easy to find something then
oh also claw grip
im just gonna wait for pulsar custom mouse builder
this month
They said that last month.
Wlmouse is getting up there, cheese grater but i enjoy mine
They even had a pre-order. Then decided to delete it.
so what are y'all saying i should get?
waiting for their carbon fibre mouse
Honestly if you hate holes, sora v2
g502
I would try budget wired mouses for the shape. And if wireless is really important. Wait longer 🤔
sora and high polling rates uhmm
yeah i saw that, the 4k sora is near impossible to get ur hands on
even fucking tenz hasnt got his hands on it yet
you could try some atk ones
got no problems w holes at all, like i said, shape doesnt matter as long as i can claw grip and play on it for long and supports the performance i mentioned
What’s that?
although sensor performance should still improve this year
yep

From some angles it seems uncomfortable I personally wish it was more or less holes instead of giant gaps
Beast has some nice mouses. I think pricing structure is pretty wild on mouses right now. Some cost about the same as a keyboard...
i dont trust beast x, saw a optimum review about it
lol
Understandable, i like to spin it around with the big hole in the middle when im not doing anything

bro just bricked his mouse
Neat!
like im just gonna wait for this LOL
If they don’t have a shape you’d want it’d be pretty tough ngl
How much custom can they really do with a pulsar mouse?
But it seems cool
maybe ill try xm2 4k
i cant wait im on a wired mouse, im willing to change it in a year or so again though
Their claw shapes will probably get a lot of use
Not out yet. They won't provide any updates or eta. Might be 8+ months.
wired mouses still great
not for me, i dont like how i can feel the wire sometimes
Do you use a bungee?
max said about a month after the 8k
i mean i have a few roccat cables so they are light as hell
no and i dont want one
i rather get a wireless mouse
Sure. But.. even your wireless will need a charge now and then... 😆
i rather charge a mouse every 90 hours instead of miss a flick cause of the tension from the cable
clean ur space LOL
its not about cleaning it, id need a massive desk
id rather buy a new mouse than a desk

@rough osprey any other mouse ud recommened?
nah
superlights good but its old ykwim, the weight is kinda heavy in todays standard isnt it
i just keep going back to superlight
ye but shape....
I keep getting mine stuck in random places aswell, defo getting a wireless one next
Lots of options just going to be down to personal preference on the shape you prefer
i mean yeah
i dont care about shape man i said it 3 times, all i care about is the performance, i need it to be light so that i can play with less tension in my forearm
shape also affects tension
Well performance difference isn't really there between the mice which is why we all talk about things that do matter like shape
how can people aim from forearm
low sens
youre meant to use both ur wrist and forearm to aim as efficiently as possible
im fine with only wrist aiming xd
and fingers
depends on the games u play, mousepad u use aswell
if ur playing apex with high sens on a glass pad, then thats fine
if ur playing valorant with low sens, u need both
what game and what elo
even when i was on 400 or 600 dpi i was still aiming from wrist
never cared about rank and elo so idk
valorant ranked and apex ranked is too toxic for my likings
yeah, then in ur case its about comfort
alot of people are more comfortable aiming only forearm or only wrist, building the habit of both takes so much time
are there any mic and interface for under £100 that sounds quite good?
Probably better off to just get a decent usb mic at that price point
What abt under £170
focusrite and an AT2020
Would still go usb
Unless you're making professional content I don't think spending extra on an interface and an XLR mic is worth it, USB mics are really good and much more simple to set up
Anything u would recommend?
SM7B MINIMUM
Probably get better recommendations from other people but I've been happy with my Samson Q2u since I got it ~5 years ago just paired with a mic arm
is there any cheaper options than the zero x soft
With iems do you need an audio interface or will your pcs audio jack suffice
Usually recommended to get at least an apple dongle to avoid the noise plugging directly into your motherboard creates
I still use my old fiio e10k does the job
i have a quadcast and it has a headphone jack, it should be fine if i plug it in there right?
Should be only one way to find out
fair enough
Why does regular ports cause noise?
metal be like
Iems are just more sensitive to it and motherboard audio usually isn't great
Viper v3 pro or gpx 2 or akitsu or something else within that price range
Viper v3 pro is better than gpx in every aspect
except battery
also lamzu maya X
is very good
How does it feel in the hand tho?
I dont have it, but everyone likes it
they took what everything loved and hated about mouses like the gpx and viper and improved it
Every time I go on lamzu's website, I regret it.
people hated the hump on the gpx so they changed that slightly and the viper was a little thin so they made it a little wider
Yeah? I guess I'd only know if I bought literally one of every mouse they make.
im going based on a few reviews i saw of it
That's my issue. People review one of their mouses, or compare two. But they have like 5 different versions, with 3-5 variations. It's incredibly confusing xD
viper is not thin
yeah, to be more specific it was a comparison between the gpx, viper v3 pro and the fnatic maya x
After I kept clicking on their website, I found this. Gosh, and that's just showing 1 of their models with 7 variations XD
what i meant is that the grip width is a little small compared to the gpx, the front of that flares out more
Why haha
its fine no?
Just seems like a programmer designed a website for a programmer.
I literally know nothing about lamzu history, I'd need to study them for 10-20 hours before I'd understand the nuances of each mouse they sell, pro/cons, etc.
Lamzu is top tier
Everything they do is great, Idk about the keyboard tho
but their mice/mousepad are great
if i ever need to end up replacing my superlight ig its either pulsar or lamzu
Most of the differences are encoder and whether or not it comes with a 4k/8k dongle
I like how lamzu calls a optical wheel better, but also has a "Lamzu encoder".. I assume that's the crap one that goes bad over time? Who knows. 😐
Someone didn't listen to the volume warning
Ig good thing your headphones have a built in solution now
not due to volume warnings, bacterial infection
Yeah perforated my ear drum hearing not the best out of that ear anymore
For amd drivers do you guys just use the automatic driver tool?
Doesnt really make much if a difference
Kk
Use the adrenalin software found on AMD website for the "best" experience 😅
wish EU apple dongle wasnt nerfed
EU dongle is just fine for most stuff
it's only really a issue when plugging into a android device, because you can't change the hardware volume of the dongle and the default hardware volume is 50%
oh I see
I can
idk if samsung has some special sauce included for that tho
FiiO JA11 is like 5€ more expensive
or get a abigail pro dongle and it's the same price as the apple dong
Last time I wanted wired headphones for my phone, I made the mistake of getting usb c iems with no dac
Didn't know that when I bought them though
should have gotten DSP ones
hindsight is 20/20
anybody got any experience with/know of the TinHifi P1 Max IIs IEMS? if yes please lmk what you think of them quality, sound, reliability wise! (please reply to this msg, i have the server muted otherwise hahaha)
can someone recommend me a budget mic and bluetooth headset ? budget is 100 cause i got other stuff to buy other than these
nvm i found a mic, the behringer xm8500
My pc keeps restarting randomly, anyone know a fix?
I tried reseating the ram, tighten any loose connections
how does it restart ?
Sounds like a power issue try a different power supply, or just a different outlet
Even if I don’t touch the pc, it just happens randomly
the fans or rgb should blink right? If it was a power issue
what are your temps for cpu looking like ? might be a cooling issue
WAIT
Whats your cpu ?
5700X3D
And a deepcool cooler
Recently installed
2 months or so
Both of these parts
You should check your temperatures
Does your pc shutdown and reboot ?
Yep
Power supply
check if the windows event viewer throws out any errors
40 C, 48 Max
and if the reboot pins on your board are maybe wrongly bridged so it sometimes triggers that
Okay there’s an error every 3 seconds, source - service control manager
post a pic of the error
is that in the system tab or application tab of the logs
oh niah ignore that check for errors in windows logs > system
check gpu temperature, reinstall drivers with DDU and see if that helps
After a legal to-and-fro which has lasted across the summer, US-based gamingware manufacturer Corsair has been confirmed as the new owner of the troubled Endor AG and its Fanatec racing peripheral brand.
Endor and insolvency administrator Dr Beck & Partner released a statement in which Corsai
Doing that rn!
Could be worse
Could be Logitech or HP
Yeah
its sad companies making niche enthusiast gear can barely survive in todays market
nobody expects the logitech acquisition
I mean fanatec did that to themselves
either gets acquired and enshittified by some larger conglomerate or ends up bankrupted
Just like ekwb
ekwb did that to themselves
yeah but even aside from companies overspending themselves to death its a harsh market for anything unique to survive anymore
And who do you expect to buy Logitech? Corsair? They are struggling themselves.
I can't for the life of me understand how some companies thought the whole covid/lockdown sales boom would last forever but I guess many people just go blind seeing those numbers go up
Corpos cannot think for longer than a year into the future. And even that is a rarity.
mhm about as meaningful of a buzzword as AI
FIXED! Thankss

yo i need help with these zowie mouse pads
theres all of these different gsr models but no idea what differences they have, kinda thinking of buying the red one cause i see it so often but i also got the black one recommended
I only know of the GSR, GSR Special Edition and the GSR 2 which is just updated model
so what, the gsr 2 is the better one?
like what are the differences
Tighter weave
wdym by that, what does it affect exactly
so its a smoother control pad?
It's still a control pad, don't get me wrong, but it's more durable
You're basically paying for it to last longer
What games do you play
valorant
would u say the gsr 2 is the better model for val out of them all? or that red one or the old black one, just the gsr
I'd personally get the GSR 2 for its durability
so better compared to the rest??
same smoothness, same control, same speed, just more durable right
Compared to their own mousepads yes
was thinking of buying a artisan but too expensive honestly, i thikn ill buy one later
for now ill stick to zowie cause honestly, its just as good enough
I have one, it's good, but no doubt you'll have good experience with the zowie too
Artisan is just luxury to be frank
I also have a glass mousepad which is fucking insane for tac shooters. No doubt it brings out the worst in your aim and it really puts your nose on 'this is wrong with it'
Buuut for like the finals, OW2, apex and stuff, it's so much fun to just beam the fk out of someone in one smooth move.
yeah honestly i agree, artisan i think is just a more durable zowie or something u know what i mean, neither mouse pads wont affect skill cause theyre just the top brands, artisans more like youre paying for the brand name
No the gsrse is not a good pad vs the artisan pads
Its wrong to think that you are paying for the brandname when it comes to artisan
wherein lies the scam?
I mean it's not really a scam it's just a bad product that disguises itself as being good because stock mouse skates are very often terrible.
That's precisely why wallhack/x-ray has their own mouse skate dots
Skates are more important than the pad.
And unfortunately since glass is hard, good skates will wear out on it... very quickly.
Yes and they are awful.
B-But I have 'em?
I like my glass pad
So do I.
Have it for a month or 7
@wraith bronzeDo you also have Jade dots?
No not jade
glass is probably my favorite type of pad so far
obsidian pro
Well do yourself a favor. Get Jades and try them on any cloth pad. I think you will see the difference.
tried multiple glass pads and they all were kinda meh to me
I like my cloth pad
If you can't find jades try the normal obsidians. Won't be quite as smooth and fast but close enough to get the idea.
tho idk about the recent ones
could use a new one though this ones like 6 years old at this point
Jades on glass are the best. No question about that. The problem is that they will degrade in a single day.
I was surprised my hand didn't get stuck at all
Heard that was a lot of trouble for many
I think the only unavoidable issue with glass is skate wear, but besides that, personally by far my favorite surface
will have to try polymer at some point
It's a pretty big issue.
I mean fast on a glass mousepad? I'm already overflicking hard on valorant as it is
Let alone with faster skates
I don't mind buying plenty of skates
Once the obsidian pros were a bit worn they were quite good for stopping power
I buy a few obsidians and they last me a fair bit
Glass yes but they will wear out. Don't use them on glass.
Use them on cloth, the glide will be smoother but you will also have more stability. It sounds weird but once you try it you will understand.
I only have 4 on them, too much dust and hair from the cats, that's why I'm actually holding off a bit on using it more until we get a new house
Using an artisan zero rn 😄
also
solution to overshooting is a lighter mouse
also, one big plus of hardpads is consistency
how bout glass skates on a cloth pad
consistency and longevity
Haven't tried personally but everyone says it's a bad idea.
works, but issues with consistency outside of climate controlled spaces
had that problem first hand
besides that? great
Got a finalmouse
UltralightX, love it
I'm probably one of the 10 that doesn't have issues with squeeking n shit
I'm pretty happy with the ptfe skates I'm using atm but was pondering trying glass on my new mouse
might not be worth it tho they're 3x the price of ptfe
glass skates are straight up stupid
try is always good
glass skates? Dumb
Skate wise my favorite is roccat/tb ones
see how you like them
if you want speed, and have a well controlled room, should work great
newer renditions significantly less so afaik
they would have to be significantly softer than any glass to not do that
Why doesn't XPG brand look like this over here...
honestly depends on the skates themselves lol, some are crazy expensive
cause that doesn't sell here
Thats why i have a box full of roccat skates
Hard to say when nobody has tried..
putting weeb shit on things just scares me off from buying it
I bought them for 10€
lol
it might work for teenagers but not so much for adults
I had burst proto skates early on, those were insane
egg high purity ones apparently are even better tho
Even as a teenager I thought that shit was cringe
it is incredibly cringe imo but very popular in its respective markets
Well yeah the weebs love it
I mean my whole room is full of weeb stuff lmao
its the same as car manufacturers in the past putting some bimbo in a skimpy dress next to their cars on shows only its cartoon girls now
I mean if you like that sort of thing fair enough but pls no draping my shit in it
I think it's hella cringe but I still like it
My pc plate for the wooting got delivered now, postnord giving me 3 notifs for the one package
meanwhile DHL being stuck in Paris with my chargers...
I dislike dhl way more than I dislike postnord
the fun part is the name of the delivery (written by Sharge)
as if i'd return my order of chargers to China...
Been a long time since I've had anything delivered by PostNord.
Love my 40 dollar dhl shipping that I can't hand in at the po that it told me to hand it in at, because it's the wrong type
I heard that if it squeaks, your supposed to shove painter tape in it. 🤔
In the ultralightx?
I guess we'll find out when/if yours squeaks 😆
I'd just claim warranty instead of fixing something that's a QA issue
I said the same thing about getting my G302 replaced 4 times under warranty 😢
I hear so much bad stuff about logitech, so sad
Friend of mine had his g pro x replaced 3 times, stopped left or right clicking
Just gave up, bought razer
This was like in a span of 6 months
currently going through a claim for a new one, scroll wheel got freaky
ive had it for 2 years without much issues though
How long is the process from claim to receiving one?
it took 2 days but im calling them again because i never got shipping information from them
i started the claim last week
Not too bad I guess
logitrash is a better name these days
read your question wrong mb
Steelseries got me a new one after proof of cutting the cord on my older one in like 3 days, just got store credit and bought a better one
man I love companies forcing the production of e-waste
logitech is the boomer brand for gaming peripherals, slow to change and cant keep up
also wildly overpriced
yeah i had to return a headset to steelseries, they just had me destroy the old one. i got store credit but i decided not to even use it, i'd rather buy from someone else
theres no call timer when you call logi support, guess they dont want you to see how long youve been waiting
Then all their production must be real cheap, or they’re lazy (probably are)
yeah if it costs them less to replace a unit instead of repair it, that doesnt inspire much confidence
That's quite common.
Wages are almost always more expensive than just writing off products.
i mean to the point where they dont even offer repairs though? like their default return policy is to trash the thing
repairs usually require a technician
Yes. I've had to take hammers to products many, many times.
assembly lines are cheaper
Like those universal remotes that Logitech make for TVs.
Or cutting the cable on a mouse.
thats kinda my point tho, i'd rather invest in something a little pricer that can be fixed up if something goes wrong instead of basically having a hardware subscription every few years when it gives out
this was the last i heard from them
Unlikely to find that in the standard consumer market.
Gotta get into enthusiast products.
True
thats why im here 🙂
Logitech mouses look nice on the desk. Just don't use em cause they break alot. In my case it was always issues with the scroll mouse and double clicking.
and yeah as far as headsets go i switched to headphones from proper audio companies awhile ago, all my headphones have replaceable cables, earpads, top padding, etc.
which ones you got?
sennheiser hd58x and beyerdynamic dt 770 pro x le
im looking at getting some mezes next
nice, I'm pretty sure you could replace the drivers in both of them if you cared enough
yeah, ive heard beyerdynamic especially people love to mod, im pretty happy with both of them tho
yeah, i tried something like that for the 58x but i found it made the sound a little more closed
i took the outer foam out which helped widen the sound a bit
the tp mod is nice for beyers cause it dampens the spike
many people can't stand the said spike
good ol Mt beyer
oh yeah i def noticed that, i messed around with EQ a bit but honestly i dont really mind it
neither did I, but I used 880's, 600ohm
