The issues is that you have 1-2 cores boosting at 1.6 volts which causes the degradation.
To fix this you need to lock all the cores to for example 5.6ghz and at lower voltage.

if theyre both C-A they should be fine either way, most usb A ports are capped to like 1.5A with a power switch from my experience

Some are limited correctly but most are not.

As a point of reference I used my Wooting Two HE on a passive USB hub for years without issue.

correctly would be 900mA for 3.x but most exceed that these days, a majority of connectors are rated for 1.5A so that is usually what they go for

Oh awesome yeah i read online some things about issues when changing cables especialy coil cables with tachyon mode enabled but i never use LED i think that saves quite a bit of power if im not mistaken

I'll be honest that is probably mainly an issue with most coiled cables around being made by uhm.. people who dont exactly know what they are doing

if it works it works, if youre worried about power usage you can probably test that by setting the rgb to white? just my first thought lol

im worried about performance issues like auto inputs etc from what i have read when other people installed coil cables but they were using high % brightness i could imagine i just want to avoid any performance or lags etc

Yeah it was like acting up because he or she installed a new coil cable and put LED on and started acting up but could be so many factors i think

hard to say without having the device on hand or knowing how the keyboard deals with uv events but it sounds more like an si issue than power. now if its full on disconnecting reconnecting it could be either

Yeah im confused aswell oh well hopefully i dont encounter any issues with this cable its 1.8m and not a coil one so lets hope for the best haha

i find it highly unlikely that you'll have issues with a cable made by a reputable brand (think of razer what you will xd)
