there's also oil for springs if you rather do that, it's a lot faster, like 30 seconds to lube all the springs with oil

Medium price, arrives in november, group buy:

1. cycle8 + rakka pcb config from a local vendor/gb host
2. preferably order it with full brass weights

Cheapest, easy to get, software UI isnt the prettiest, firmware development is great, pcb is great:

1. Buy a sikakeyb hm66 (aliexpress or their official store)
2. Buy a salvation or kbdfans holy60 case (best options) or if u wanna go cheaper, a tofu redux

All your options are probably a step up in terms of feel, maybe even switch quality and what not, but more often than I had hoped, I've seen people complaining/saying that they don't come anywhere near Wooting in terms of raw performance (software/latency/qol).
Without measurements or similar, I'd rather get something which has proven itself with numbers (even if it's because of third parties hyping Wooting up)

Turning to the non-exhaust, the second striking finding is that tyre wear mass emissions are five orders of magnitude greater than particle mass from the tailpipe. Tesla Model Y has 26 % more tyre wear due to the extra weight and torque, despite their being specifically-designed ‘green tyres’ for electric vehicles. In absolute terms, the increased tyre wear was 11 mg/km, which is 2.4 times the maximum permissible tailpipe particle mass emissions.

VOCs off-gassed into the air from the tyres are about two orders of magnitude greater than those from the tailpipe of the Kia. Adding the tailpipe and tyre sources, we see that the Kia had total emissions less than half of the Tesla’s.

If full lifecycle CO2 emissions are taken into account, BEVs currently offer around 50% CO2 reduction on average, so in reality the decision to opt for the Tesla is between 12% points of extra CO2 reduction compared to the ICE baseline but 26% more particles. Since ICE is the most prominent drivetrain type right now, the most efficient move in terms of scarce resource allocation is to move to FHEVs, not BEVs.

the zowie is certainly nice but I'd say you can sacrifice the 120hz extra and get a bigger screen with better viewing angles instead. anything that matches the VRR motion clarity performance of the XL2566k is going to be FINE. I run 360hz with strobing on and VRR on alternatingly. I cannot spot a difference in motion clarity, only my eyes get tired sooner with strobing on.

a crt has max brightness in the 100-120 nit range vs the 1200 to 1400 nits that modern oleds do,
its possible that you could avoid burnin in 5k hours on a crt but it would require extremely careful screensaving, where pretty much every oled will do that

3. CB critizes unequal consumer pricing between study test cars and somehow this makes the article discredited? How is it relevant to tyre wear which was the original goal post of this discussion.
4. CB thinks they're trying to represent both vehicles the same size, whereas in truth the article states Tesla Model Y has +489 kg mass and larger volume than KIA.

5. CB critizes the source which I provided (which was expected), how else could he win the argument? I confess to Ad Homs, I apologize. Agree that corpos are making bigger than needed cars because of consumers and that sucks. But I'd thought size for size EV's are still slightly more heavy due to batteries. If not (on average) - and they can be optimized for 1:1 weight vs ICE that's clears one issue, but leaves torque and regenerative brakes. Maybe they can be remedied in software to lessen the effect so in aggregate the effect is less than ICE tailpipe + tyre, but for now they aren't universally. I accept your argument just somewhat disagree. It's just that I need further confirmation statwise on EV's not being heavier to believe it. I'm more wary, without proof, of the tyre wear ecological consequences than the CO2 reduction atm. Never gonna state is as fact, It could be insignificant. Anyho lets wrap it up here 😄
