I have one personally and haven't reallt seen any more iszues than when i was on my 2080
Been rock solid stable. Only had 1 game that had an issue in a year if owning it and it got fixed with a driver update like 2 weeks lafer

You can save a little bit of money by buying a crucial ssd but your build is already a lot better now for value/performance 😅
Also the phantom spirit not se version looks slightly better and has slightly better temps (like 1%) so if it's not a big difference of price you can maybe check it out if look is very important for you 😅

Both have been acknowledged at this point, though no details on the oxidation batch specific range/fab. Microcode update is due in august

This morning pressing the power button did absolutely nothing. Unplugging power from GPU lets it boot as normal. Would this be indicative of a short in the GPU? Could it be anything else?

I got the 13700k when I was using an Arc A770 GPU, they have some interesting capabilities using both. And even though I'm now on a 7900xtx for my GPU, the iGPU on the 13700k using quicksync manages my streams and keeps any load off my main GPU

You should not be having any issues. Get a hardware monitoring app (CPUID, HWINFO) and run benchmarks see where things go wrong if you can notice your CPU get too hot or something

Might even be something as stupid a bad ram configuration

Your CPU is more than enough for games like Fortnite

BIOS settings too. Make sure you have turbo and boost settings on in case they’re off by default for whatever reason

I’d check those before doing anything else

You could do something similar to what this guy did but for your need, use a Pro Micro (Atmega 32u4) and replace the hot swap piece with an 49E sensor aslong as you can build the support/plate for switch.

Windows post install updates: About an hour depending on download speed
