Yeah, 5zł/1.2€
And I pay with card almost every day, so no worries about making those 5 payments
here in the us, most debit cards are associated with a credit account, the credit account is immediately reconciled however, so it acts as if it was a debit card too
and theres no effect on your credit score
Same here, also no effect on credit score
Also here credit score only matter if you were to take a big loan, like mortgage for example
here there are some really highly rewarding credit cards that you can only get by having a good credit score
I need to do this since my score is 800+ now
only have 2 cards and they are basically entry level ones
my credit card is prepaid 😎
no?
Interesting then
Yo
hmmmm
58degrees on my new cpu
wonder if i need to tweak the fan curve or smth
idle btw
zen4 goes warmer it's made to run into thermal limit not into voltage limit

it does seem a bit high for idle though
i havent checked the fan curve for where they are connected yet
but doesnt matter if it works fine when under load
ill prob check with cinebench if the numbers look right
You know, also the fact that it's really fckin hot outside
hm its doing a funny dance now
45-70
up and down it goes
wonder if its smth to do with me using both cpu fan headers instead of the y splitter
and just 1 header
gpu is 35degrees though so even though it felt like the cooler and cpu gpu touch they dont which is nice
If fan curves are the same it shouldn't matter
i havent looked at the default fan curves at all
nah it still take a bit for the heatpipes to get hot so that seems more like maybe a bad paste/contact pressure
hm the pressure seems good from having checked the mount by unmounting and peeking below
nice even spread
maybe the paste has some sort of thermal break in time or smth idk
Won't matter
It's zen4
Airflow literally won't matter, make your fan curve almost flat until you reach like 85c
You can push as much air as you want through the fins it just won't really matter
He's probably not really idle
Windows updates and what not
I imagine he's more idle than me doing ff14 while watching streams and being at 55C with a u12
Little background things that make it ramp up ever so slightly
it did and then it ran 45-50
My u12a runs better at idke than your d15 tony
Are you using the offset bracket for the d15
yes
as you said take a look at clocks under load and if thats fine ignore it, if it doesnt work fine try a remount
the first one might have been fine but the remount you did might have been bad then
Also are you use PBO didnt get turned on at the same time as expo @fair gull
I know asus does that
asrock
ah yeah that could be
idk if they use 1:1 the same bios
i mean asrock and asus are fairly close
Memory context restore
It will dramatically boost ur boot times
Mine was brutally slow without it
idk takes like 5seconds to boot
They may have it on by default?
it took me way to long to realize that that isn't fusion 360 failing at floating point numbers
Idk it wasn't on mine even on latest bios
also whats pbo
Im using msi tho so
where to find it
precision boost overdrive
bios update is almost done
yay max cpu speed gains without oc
so the memory context thing is indeed by default on and there is no pbo disabled just different presets or an auto select
only thin to figure out are some drivers and how to turn off the dumb gpu rgb
Just use OpenRGB
cut off the cable
id disassemble it and unplug it if theres no setting for it
What gpu u got
Don't need it when you can use OpenRGB
i want a set and forget not a run software 24/7
id rather put ducttape over it than run openrgb just for this
Once its set you dont have to keep running it
Yeah which Asus model the Strix?
you say rgb is smart but icue would disagree
Hell my zotac 2080 is still bright pink on nico's pc because he's too lazy to install zotac firestorm to change the color lol
Same bright pink it was in my rig ages ago lol
my zotac 2080ti had no way to manage the rgb from the os
Also what mobo do you have?
So lazy to change my gigabyte cards rgb so i can relate to that
Firestorm does it
Was it an AMP model?
Once you set it once you can uninstall firestorm
The setting you set sticks
Maybe this could work?
Yeah ill probably do that also but with fusion
amp extreme
and i tried firestorm no worky
i mean the gpu is dead now anyway
but the only solution i found was to unplug the cable
the onboard leds are off
just use a solid side panel, ezpz
Rescan?
yeah openrgb is actually pretty limited
rgb DRM
Wierd?
Thats a 30 series
They are there? i'd check that those are enabled too
And they were enabled?
Wierd
maybe the experimental version will have better support
the website list is the experimental one for some reason
nono mine is the og oc
its not in 0.9
but on the website list
i assumed the O and G surrounding the vram number were some sort of shortening by openrgb which it isnt
Probably
https://youtu.be/9yfkFgsyN3U Looks like there's connectors at 10:26 in the video which could potentially go to the RGB
Unbox and teardown of an ASUS TUF 4090. I unbox the card, then take it apart to look at the pcb. Afterwards a quick test of the card in port royal looking at power consumption and quick overclock attempt.
Lol
The only light i have in my system is my gpu
It's just a white XFX logo
I can't turn it off
But i don't mind it it fits the rest
Since everything is silver of black
Had some problems with Armoury crate and updates that would reset RGB settings so it would start again, haven't had the same problem with OpenRGB
next PC will be an Emo build, matte black everything, no need for RGB software
Isn’t Asus working with windows for their dynamic lighting setting now? So you don’t need to download all that rgb bloat crap
Changed my gpu rgb to fit my coffee colors
Said bon voyage to rgb fusion
not for the gpu they aint
Damn that’s unfortunate
Not yet they're adding stuff
Gotcha
Intel's 13900k's and 14900k's are crashing at an alarming rate? Why isn't anyone talking about it and what is Intel's solution?

Crazy to see the intel stability issues also affecting datacenters
which run on very conservative settings for their clockspeeds and their ram
different types of datacenter
those gaming DCs use off the shelf consumer hardware at stock settings
and the bug was with intels stock settings
W series chipset
Low speed ram, lower clocks/voltages than consumer level mobos
wrong, w series even supports overclocking https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/218824/intel-w790-chipset.html
Intel® W790 Chipset quick reference guide including specifications, features, pricing, compatibility, design documentation, ordering codes, spec codes and more.
Yeah but in this was we talking stock with capped power ljmits and with 3600mhz ddr5 @astral haven
Watch the vid it's interesting
Not saying you can't do those things on w790 but it wasn't being done in the highlighted cases
still a consumer platform, the bug is a cpu boost bug, and it wont occur on any dc environments that use low clock or fixed clock cpus
First section is about game telemetry, second about datacenter usage
Just watch the damn video
If you want to discuss it
if you can have that big of a misconception after watching the video, ill skip it
ah yes lets discuss a video i shared that i thought was interesting
That you haven't even watched
Good idea
if you think the video is accurate, dont misquote it
also me rn
How would you know if i did or not
You didn't watch it
Look carmon either watch it and we can discuss it or don't watch it and then i won't bother discussing it with you because it's plain dumb to discuss about something that you haven't even looked at
Option 1 or option 2
yea but im not discussing the video, im discussing the facts of the matter
will Intell need to do one last LGA 1700 chip to make up?
no there wont be something new coming
ugh
I just want to have an interesting discussion about tech ffs
I don't want to fight over shit
This is dumb
I think if you haven't watched the video you are unable to say what the video is about
sry
what are you even trying to say
probably because it was a premiere or something heres the current video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzHcrbT5D_Y

Discord player being bad ig
negatory ghost rider
brain wanting to say more things then it can interface with UI sry
what do you think that intel will do to compensate? I know they wont go back to the old chip set
nothing?
microcode updates, probably more coming
replace broken parts, update bios or something to prevent it
maybe a new stepping for the next batches
hopefully they can push it as a windows microcode update, if they need to replace the bios itself that will be pain for quite a while
mhm would be nice
well I wonder how much of a hit in stock this will do over time even though its only certain chips. $1k+ 3 years server parts is funny
Yep that's quite the premium
All of that just to the additional support needed
Kinda nuts
its not having any change on stock price
actually intel has been going up faster than nasdaq since this issue has been in the news
because some of the rating companies upgraded their evaluation
in a normal company their flagship product for consumers having a publicized high failure rate in only 3 months would trigger a downgrade probably
also every tech stock is up atmm
yea
nah because its not actually that high of an issue still
and flagship!= most revenue
sure, but if the iphone 15 pro max started boot looping at the rate that the 14900k and ks are, apples valuation would drop more than intels current market cap at a minimum of 2 times over, id estimate 4 or 5 maybe
yeah because that market works a bit differently
yea and apple has dramatically fewer products in general
afaik the valuation was also mostly regarding foundry
suppose that shows how much faith there is in intel turning around their cpu designs
ehh I mean the design seems to not be the issue in these cases
but packaging/validation
sure but if intel didnt have to redline their processor this much, they wouldnt have this issue
true
They could wait make chiplets like a normal fab XD
they are making at least one of the chiplets in mtl right?
yea
I mean the whole stack
Monolithic has hit the limit a while ago and Intel is pushing hard
nah
i mean cerebras is the limit of what monolith can do
not intel 😛
amd is not having good 1t because of chiplets
their laptop chips are also cleaning house (or they would be if they could make enough of them)
Yeah but for most tasks it's not important
? most tasks on desktop need 1t lol
Desktop isn't the major market for either amd nor intel
for server they already to chiplets?
and this time its not glue, its serious chipletting
Sr has glue and monolith
Amd's just stack more of the same shit approach has to kill Intel on yeild
glue is im pretty sure rotated around the center, but it might be double mirrored (which would be 2 identical 2 mirrored)
double mirror is the same as rotate
unless they were exceedingly dumb, they only needed to do 2 dies, and 1 die rotated is also a possibility
oh yea they never made a single die unit
also zen6 might be monolithic again on desktop xD
yea but it it like zen 4 was https://shop-us-en.amd.com/amd-ryzen-7-8700G-processor/
or is it monolith only
idk at this point
as long as it still x3ds idgaf tbh
But it could be the biggest PR part and if the Desktop fails or the numbers arn't correct then they have a whole ass problem
right?
I mean that's happening with intel
I'm hoping unlocked x3D is true
yeah x3d will remain, since IO rework seems to be the main part of zen6 idk if we get monolithic only for laptop and desktop or if they add monolithic for lower core count so it also gives them an option to have like a ryzen 3 part without killing their own margin
there are people talking about medusa layout and such but idk enough about things to know how that really looks from the limited infos
I want to address an important issue on how a single-dimensional, almost insane focus on AI by some of these companies is restricting true innovation on the hardware side of the smartphone market.

truly sad
i am excited about next generation X3D
I didn't even realize AMD are about to release their 9000 series CPUs.. I feel it is time to look for something to upgrade to lel. Is a bit of a shame to not have a more top spec CPU when I have a top spec GPU
7700x with 4090... I don't think I am losing out on a lot of performance tho. Last time I checked it was only a few % (unless I am mistaken)
oh they are? better be a banger
I saw the Ryzen 9 9950x should have 16 cores 32 threads and have a boost clock og 5.7ghz.. so thats pretty neat kek
Always consider your use case for cpu
honestly, i think it may be a little too early to tell whether or not smartphones are going downhill from AI. phones have been stagnant for so long so honestly this isn't such a bad change of pace, but yeah the pricing is getting insane though. like actually just... wtf.
im still all for more performance per watt and general ipc and efficiency improvements. I like NPUs and the general idea of how they work can be used instead of computing in stringfs of bits can compute in matricies which can be great for backfround tasks and whatnot
meanwhile I'm still waiting on 5000-series to become affordable lmao
Gimmi that next gen x3d
sadly didnt have time to bench my rig yesterday but stable 170fps at max settings and full res of 5120x1440 in ffxiv
a good 70% increase to my 2080ti before DT released
and well over 900% to my old iGPU at windowed 1280x720
hi tony
hi dashi
good morning i guess xd
yes
Because that's prosumer hardware

I have 2.5G right now
Personally im just running gigabit for my internal network and i find it to be plenty for what i need. LAN wise. My internet is like 500mbps xD
id always run intranet at 10g nowadays
at least from a main switch to my storage server
wouldnt wanna bottleneck anyone and get 1gbit usable on more than 1 device
I just dont see the point in upgrading my gigabit stuff it's plenty
It's just me and nico... so
I have now 2000/750 fiber, but my contract is about to end, and they are desperate to renew it, but 600/150 for 50% more, because they claim there's no fiber available in my location
But there's new local ISP, and they offer 5000/350 for almost the same price
So I can either switch to indefinite 2000/750 contract with my current ISP or to 5000/350 with new one
those are fast speeds
Damn why your uploads so scuffed
Most i can get is 500/50
@ashen spindle do you have ffxiv bench results for your rig? and at which res
I could run it on mine but its a 7900xtx at 5120x1440
7800x3d?
Yep
i mean its still a good bench to compare to
I'll run it after this race
especially since all that differs is the gpu
In the 90s it was quite popular to host servers with pirate content
We used to have symmetrical speeds only these days
also assume you run max settings
It's more popular then ever to host servers with pirated content 🏴☠️
Yarr
because most companies rn are doing really dumb subscription stuff or restricting their subscriptions unnecessarily
Tell it to my seedbox
like look at how much cash affinity must make with their software just cause adobe is dumb
I'm installing it
Anywho, I wouldn't switch, I mean I don't really need 5gbit, but my current ISP calls me almost everyday to renew, they slow down downloads in the evenings to minimal allowed 600mbit, claiming there's "too many people using internet in my neighborhood" (and yet it worked just fine a month ago), and threaten me I'd need to pay more when my contract changes into permanent one (which they cannot do, our consumer protection agency already penalized them for that)
@fair gull its running
@fair gull it got done
i picked the maximum preset
fps was around 100 to 120 generally fully gpu bound
sometimes would go higher during certain scenes
idk sometimes it'd go like way up but during what looked to be the most intense scene
100-120
radeon overlay says i had an avg of 167fps during the benchmark
I just realized i forgot to check the fucking text file
Well time for a redo
wtf it didnt write anything to the text file
oh well here's the second run
amd says 169.1 in this one as an AVG
i used that monitoring to check the avg cuz... the text document just wouldn't create itself
thanks good data points to have
I was basically fully gpu bound xD
At all times
what screws do the 60/80he use?
M2 screws, 4mm in length for the 60HE at least.
I don't recall if the 80 uses the same.
M2x5 for the 80HE according to the page
OBS 30.2 RC1 enables up to five concurrent streams on GeForce GPUs Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) is a popular, free, and open-source software for video streaming to various platforms. It is supported by all major GPU vendors, including AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA. OBS also supports various graphics architectures, including the latest NVIDIA RTX 40 ...
Woah what
is it the switches or the board itself?
Hmm?
ah sorry xd i asked the question in general but here again
does someone know why my 60he sometimes just randomly presses by it self like zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz or aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa or some shit?
is it the switches or the board itself?
Yeah it’s pretty dope. Hopefully the feature will come to amd and Elgato capture cards. Would change streaming for the better
that release isn't what you think probably
it's still not AV1 support and it's sitll not a rollout for everyone from twitch's end
so you can set it in obs but unless you got the invite on twitch you cant use it lol
nope never ran it
Yeah it’s basically a beta I’m just saying in the future. Av1 support and all of it
no I'm saying this is not even a beta lol
Although that future could be like 2030 knowing twitch 😭😭
It’s alpha?
Or just special inv for like top streamers lol
so for it to work on twitch you need to get into the twitch beta
and you could apply for that months ago and if you get in you could download a version of obs that did this
so nothing changed just that you can download this now before being able to use it I guess
no you dont understand you can download this
you also were able to download the previous verions that wasnt public if someone sends you the link
Oh oh I get it
but you can't make use of it
You can download it but you can’t use it unless you are on the beta program
yup
Which could take months/years at this point I’m assuming
yup
like this got announced on CES in january and this is essentially still the same since then
Breh
I guess it's another showcase of how nvidia is amazing at handling press for nothing happening?
Great company lol
quickly checked during my break..... it seems to be running well enough
also avg of 79degrees cpu temp
which seems ok
is it always the same keys? There are replacement switches in the box, you can try replacing them.
second run from nvme the game is on was even better by almost 1k in score and 10fps on avg
well join a hunt train and you get to 10fps total
if you run 3dmark I can gie you a comparable score since thats also running at fixed resolution
like firestrike ultra on the free version
That 4090 is a beast! scoring 14k+ more than 7900XTX
yeah with dlss
benchmark enables dynamic resolution by default so dlss boosts the score higher
FSR vs DLSS too, yeah
i can run whatwver 3d mark you want
fire strike ultra
k will prob do after work
that's incredibly stupid
ffxiv has fsr or dlss on no way to disable it

well, you can select fsr and keep it at 100% scaling so it doesnt actually upscale
but you still see it in the benchmark as fsr if its native resolution
oh?
i mean with dlss you can theoretically also say only below x fps
i think 30 and 60
yup
actually wonder if its set to always on or not by default
I rather use the more performant AA options the game has
Native rendering, no AA
idk why AA is viewed as something bad
TAA causing ghosting is because of the temporal nature not because it's handling aliasing
Is there a big difference?
Been getting flak since WW1
No jaggies
Left set is PBT, right one is ABS
Abs is better?
I don't mind FXAA or MSAA, I just like jaggies
But I can't stand any kind of temporal AA, looks like card can't keep up with rendering
Ty sir
I think games with poor TAA implementation have given TAA a bad wrap
yeah
Like you played one game with poor Ray tracing and you were like this technology sucks I'm never using it again
I do prefer other AA options too but native just isn't the way when you can avoid this
This ssd should fit right?
yes
I know that since it’s m.2, it’ll be good but just want to make sure 100%
technically m.2 has variations as well but we essentially just got stuck with a single one of those
Becuase I’m not sure what else I should be looking at when it comes to compatibility
m.2 is the format 2280 is the size
I meant keys
ah yeah
not much at this point tbh

That it's a proper PCIE slot and not one that only accepts SATA
Ty
Ty got it already
👍
yeah thats a bit higher than mine which makes sense because I ran mine without xmp when I tried and with power limits on gpu
yeah according to 3dmark also right on the average for this cpu/gpu combo
with FXAA you loose so much detail 😦
blur filter as i like to call it
With subtle FXAA not so much
But yeah, MSAA is better
MSAA isnt realistic anymore with today's geometry apparently
Nothing looks realistic anymore tbh
Compare current Assassins Creeds to Black Flag for example
yeah deferred/forward rendering dont work with the same rendering tricks
shame, because MSAA delivered great results
Current games barely run with upscaling, wonder what would happen should we throw multi-sampling at them
well the way deferred rendering works you throw away data that made msaa fast so msaa with it would basically just be regular higher resolution rendering
team green 🎉
with my slow old cpu
and no dlss. i need to rerun it without as well
dlss is on
ah yeah the line below
I don't think UW makes a difference? Do you have black bands on the side?
Of course UW makes a difference it’s more pixels to render
Right but I tried 1080p in ultrawide and there's black bands on the side so idk if it's actually rendering any extra pixels 😂
if you set it to 1080p itll prob do some blackbars but i run it at the monitor res
5800x3d would be a nice drop in upgrade
so no black bars
ah fair
Mmo love v cache
Soo, hows the new build?
lets see fsr at 100. wanna see how it runs without any dlss or such
still a bit wonk due to the bequiet case fans
they are loud cause of the dumb preinstalled fan controller shit
ill revisit that in a few weeks when my back is better lol
but yeah running benchmarks and seeing it take them more than well is deffo nice
and id prob not get a dh15 again
at least with this case
actually this case/mobo/cpu heatsink combo specifically
yup
In GN thermalright AIO review, he said other companies do not know how thermalright is able to make any margins
I really wonder what they are doing
maybe in a year we see they literally just steal products or something idk xD
dlss was definitely boosting the previous 2 results.
FSR set to 100 (which should be no dynamic scaling stuff at all)
Kek, would be another certified hood classic from GN
non US labour ez
But other companies are doing the same
That's why they are so confused
Nah
What is considered a good score?
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Insufficient Performance (Below 1,000)
Low Performance (1,000 to 1,999)
Slightly Low Performance (2,000 to 3,999)
Standard Performance (4,000 to 5,999)
Fairly High Performance (6,000 to 7,999)
High Performance (8,000 to 10,999)
Very High Performance (11,000 to 14,999)
Extremely High Performance (15,000 and above)
Found something like this
doesnt matter if it runs okay because it's not representative of ingame performance
Taiwan is like at 1/2 of Austria median salary, CEO's cut is probably half as much as well 😛
just roughly if you can run it well or not
the comparison is not noctua but other budget cooler makers
from taiwan as well
shrug
Yeah I'm thinking cooler master and deepcool
Also rip deepcool in the US
I like the boxy look of their air cooler
nothing for scoring this high... smh disappointed in sqex
Should give nerd glasses for people over 40k

Still curious
Firestrike extreme is a bit older so
yes but it's free and was the one I had so it was easier to compare since I have the same setup
wouldnt you want to run the speedway or what its called for the most up to date bench?
port royal would be the demanding one still
speed way is a bit short to really make good use of it to compare
Still 8000 points above basically the same hardware with a 7900xtx instead that's a lot
how to know that youre cpu bound
game wont get a better score at the lowest res
downloading timespy
Comcast wants me to go from 150 promo to 250 to go from 3 to 10gbit
And I'm like fam, 3 is too much
yeah I mean more is nice but not if not needed at the price lol
Damn 10 gig already
whats the upload, symmetrical I assume?
Also 3 gig, I guess in actuality it's 2.5 gig
make sure to run extreme
Might be useful to @fair gull here's how i setup my fans for my nh u12a on the 7800x3d, keeps it quiet
Just a super slow almost flat ramp with fan smoothing, it's not really worth having a super aggressive fan curve with a 7800x3d as pushing more air through the heatsink generally doesn't do much
Basically it only ever goes to 100% if the cpu gets pegged compiling shaders or something
How new is this from razer 👀?
Havent heard that they released it. And considered “rappy snappy” was revealed a while back 😁
its why the post in #📣│announcements was made
lol ty. I don’t have notifications on..
sorry for the late reply
Solid score
Also did you see the fan curve i suggested for your 7800x3d
If it works well for mine on a u12a should be good for you on your d15
Keep things nice and quiet 😄
The black version of the u12a is probably my favorite looking air cooler
ive seen but adapted it to a 5point curve

That works too just make sure it's not too aggressive you really don't need it to be for this cpu
3080 struggles
that's a sad score for a 3080
Yeah ain't doing well with Extreme it's also the 10GB model
i just added a point in the beginning for 30degrees
i dont think thatll ever happen but if it does it does
PR score?
Today's, i've just undervolted the 3080 so eh
It still runs the games i want to play so couldn't be bothered to upgrade
Why wouldn't it? A 3080 is still top tier
Some think that it's not sufficient to run games
That's madness
Depends what you want to do, of course it's going to run games it just might not max out the graphics settings while maintaining over 60fps in some titles
depends on the resolution
Just running stuff in 1440p, handled AW2 fine
Should be good enough for my current top of the wishlist lol
Just reminded me that i need to wishlist pony island 2
12700K still going strong 🫡
Was thinking of buying the 13900K at some point but seems that i made the right choice by not buying
Or true copper when it was new
I mean realistically you'll prob mostly be gpu bound anyways
12900k not really gonna limit you
Unless you play at like 1080p
Or helldivers
Yeah was thinking of a 4090 upgrade then too but chose not to upgrade anything
Im more of a 700k enjoyer
That'd a waste
Especially for 1440p... 3080 is still plenty
Mansen calls cap on that
Sure but was looking at 32:9, UW & 4K monitors then too, life changes with how busy one gets with other hobbies
cant call it a waste when its all relative
to how much you can spend and what you aim for
like for what I want my 4090 isnt enough even if its only 2k ultrawide
I mean i find my 7900xtx to be plenty for a nice experience at 5120x1440
But i know you're more picky about framerate than i am
hence its all relative, I'm dropping to <60fps sometimes in ff14 hunt trains or have to lower alan wake 2 settings which I dont want
I was getting like... 80-90fps in alan wake 2
Was smooth enough for a slow psced game
hence its relative and you cant just definitely say it would be a waste 😛
I mean idk generally 100ish fps with VRR looks and feels smooth to me
Fair enough
Currently i just want a powerful gaming handheld
But then battery life takes a hit
Yeah and the performance isn't there yet
Steam deck is my goal right now for a handheld
The Rog Ally X is better now with that battery upgrade but preferably i'd like a powerful SD2
it's a fun console but battery life is the thing i always found annoying with it
Yeah…
Battery tech needs to advance too
I have an LCD model that still has like proper battery health and i find it to be too little
Ally X with Bazzite would be pretty nice
Like unless you cap the tdp
steamdeck 2.5 roughly is when I think it might be nice for me
I'm hoping for 2025 for SD2
Yeah, maybe this
I want it 26 so it has the hardware I'm hoping for xd
like, zen5 rdna5, big battery, oled, VRR
Yeah
You know whay i really one tho
A smaller handheld
Like the odin 2 mini
But i can't justify it already owning a deck
Never
once they stop having skill issue on implementing it lol
Oh i saw you posted your 3ds earlier and thought id show you mine
YES I LOVE THAT ONE
I WANNA SQUEEZE HIS LITTLE CHEEKS
Buy one of those laptop power banks
They are very squeezable
Wish they were squishy
Meh
Same size lel
Size comparisons
xbox be tiny
More big = more money
Smallbox
Smh no screen on xbox
https://upspecgaming.com/products/xscreen There's this
The power and performance of the Xbox Series S can now be taken anywhere. xScreen™ is a fully integrated folding screen that seamlessly attaches onto the Xbox Series S. This transforms your device into a laptop form factor that can be easily transported and used anywhere there is a power outlet. Key features: 11.6" IP
Actually that looks tiny
Remember those?
I do
Looks like a GBA SP screen
I had the screen attachement we used it for roadtrips
It was like the coolest thing ever
How
We have a wii
Got rid of your childhood one?
NOOO
THATS A TRAP
i remember wanting to do that and my dad was like
you're getting scraps for it just keep it you may want to replay x y z game
So i always kept my console
Good guy dad
I mean you dont really realize you're getting fucked by game stores as a kid
And most parents dont care enough
Prob overpriced
Sadly
Eh the laser gave up on the PS1 & PS2 but they're still at the parents even the PS3
Got a PSP still which i don't have a battery for anymore and the GBA SP & Color even a SNES
I remember watching YouTube videos of people yanking the laser from ps3 just to make a laser pointer
5090 will be more like a PS5 size 😄
Mansen im curious what's in your gaming rig
4090 i guess?
- We literally talked about it.
I knew you upgraded to a 3080 for cyberpunk didnt know if you upgraded after
4000 series has been a mess. Waiting for 5000 series.
At 3440x1440P? Yes. I am typically between 60-100FPS if I lower settings to around medium in most demanding games.
Lots of dips even with DLSS at quality.
I see

Thought it'd run better but i have no experience with the 3080 so
It be like that we wait for next gen
@vagrant pagoda decided to build a second one XR accessories on pint-sizish rails
Heh. Both X1 control panel and wootility let you bind f13-f24
Technically some keyboards have those keys
I really should put my tilt feet back on
It has 3 options though
not a fan of accidentally clicking with it too
i do like setting the finger and trigger buttons to hotbars, it's like a numbpad mouse but without overusing your thumb
been using the steam deck cause pc didn't have a desk. i have a desk now and moved.
thumb buttons are a pain to hold down
idk why they made them vertical
oh the screen
I just use toggle scripts
I got one for free looking
Through pivot
And it feels great the way I set it up
i saw a vid talking about using an aditional keyboard as one of those stream decks. was wondering if wooting could just do the same thing with one keyboard. video was too long so idk maybe
That would need external running software
dang
don't people put macros for streaming on their keyboard?
I never used the tilt on mine lol
I used it for redo and undo in cad
Also imagine not using the advanced interface
what? expert?
Yeah expert mode
For swiftpoint
It's so much better
Pure pivot is still locked behind typing in a notepad though
i believe i needed it to make a psuedo-function key
And light 0ressl for paste, hard press for paste+enter
Is the best hotkeys you can use
I wish they added more functions like the loops
So theme is for mouse used
i don't have tracer
Ooo
Overrated or should this preform very very well? Other cpu cooler I had was a $100 liquid cool one but switching it out for this
I got a thermal right cooler on my itx I am happy with it, though I feel like that single fan may be why it ramps up a bit sometimes
that feature is so nice
for what cpu
added like two updates ago
Maybe update your panel
no what cpu
Oh mb
i mean shift s on win 10
yes the asassin is fine then
i did update my mouse

last time i used it, it was locking up in valheim. maybe it won't now
thank you bryce, i remember he cooked this up quickly for me first
now it is a normal feature in the panel
this is what i had in valheim
cool
shift keys are cool
you used the speedier syntax
?
it's a hold toggle
oh okay
that way i don't forget what state im in
unlike steam input
i swear those action set beeps and ui don't work
yeah i havent done much on the mouse. i plan to in the future
kind of want all games to have the same layout but that prob won't work
it is nice to be able calibrate because you make the force graph perfect
also say you desolder your microswitches and solder new ones
recalibration can be done
im def not tech savvy
that is fine
my dream is to make a game i want to play
i gotta talk to Bryce sometime about the user friendly one for all i know it could be just as accurate
interesting dream
free-look for S.C.U.M
i think tower defenses need to innovate more
hmmm
i wonder if NMS would be a good game to setup controls for
the sky is limit
since it has flying
i imagine tilt would be at least
never did the whole flying joystick thing
still got to try analogue wooting for racing. the only racing game i play now is the dumb fortnite one
but im dropping fortnite next season. tired of being a slave to fomo
i personally find the Z analog more useful, althought it has no xinput support
it doesn't?
nope just direct input
i think they said they are going to add linux support
i also talked to bryce to perhaps emulate a mouse with these extra sensors
they did in beta
beta for what? z2?
the software is in beta
u dont need an aio to cool a 7800x3d unless you want it for the aesthtics
Disclaimer: Linux is not an officially supported platform. This release is purely experimental, so comes with no guarantee that it will work on your system, or that it will receive further updates. A list of known issues is included further below. But
Please explain
7800x3d has a tdp of 80W I believe
A $30-$40 air cooler can cool it
I'm cooling my 7800x3d with a $35 cooler rn
hits a max of 75-80C under full load
the 7800x3d goes up to 160W max under full load which is not gaming so and even then taht cooler can still handle it
Ah that sounds scary even if it’s safe
you would nee liquid for like >250w heatload
I’m getting 90s currently on my old pc
So the cpu cooler before would’ve been overkill?
im cooling my 7800x3d with this
very much so
noctua coolers are like the same price of an aio
let me guess that shit is $90-$110
some are, some outperform similar AiOs though

Listen I had the thermalright in there and someone told me to go noctua instead
I copped this
Idk I just go with the flow
@fair gull managed to get the damn text file of the benchmark btw lol
now we can actually compare
cant you see it on discord mobile?
i guess here's the important part
oki doki
yours:
Score: 30148
Average Frame Rate: 204,0678
Minimum Frame Rate: 87
mine
Score: 16645
Average Frame Rate: 115.8916
Minimum Frame Rate: 75
yeah the 4090 kills the 7900xtx xd @fair gull
We need a triangle one
oh wait i just realized
you're using your own settings not the maximum preset
you had dynamic res on, i didn't
dlss always has dynamic res on
Even when using DLAA?
there is no dlaa
you can only set it to only trigger <60 or <30 or off but off means it shows as FSr
There is if you use DLSS tweaks which you should have anyway especially for older titles
modding a benchmark makes little sense
Benchmarking in general makes little sense, play the game have fun
it makes sense to see if your hardware performs as it should
Run a synthetic 🤷♂️
doesnt really show if it runs as it should in the game you have a benchmark for?
yea, when my 3090 is getting 12 fps at low settings in cs2, it was perfectly fine in firestrike et al
How about this if it runs well you leave it, if it doesn't optimize
benchmarks usually run unusual scenarios and do not replicate the actual emptiness/chaos the game has
what is the issue with running it to see if it works lol
^
this is very obviously wrong and a synthetic couldnt fix it
if noone benchmarked the game, I would have nothing to compare against
just saying that a benchmark's not always the answer. Hogwarts Legacy as best example: Many people reported horrible frame drops in the winter season of the game while every other season was fine
Yeah I'm sure 12fps wouldn't be indicator that something wasn't right
if noone else tried it, how was i to know it was my setup and not some hardware incompatibility
idk how comparing bench results implies it will be touted as the ingame performance
back in the day there were plenty of old games that would absolutely die if you had too much vram available
Even benchmarks are limited and not an actual realistic indication of real in game performance
nobody said the benchmark is representative in fact it's known it is not for ffxiv but it was about if his pc performs as mine since we have the same cpu/gpu so he asked and similar scores would mean it runs fine in the game
Yeah and that's fine
running it rn with your settings
and yes i couldnt resist comparing
I mean ir's literally the rig you woulda went with if you had went team red. Curiosity is understandable lol
You're like the only other person i know with a neo g9 lol
Besides well... me
neo g9, is that the 57 inch?
i dont have a neo g9
49
just g9
the 49s are all dual qhd so fps is still comparable
Yep
how tf did they do that, wasnt it already 1000r???
yea the neo and classic are both 1000r, they didnt curve it any more
i was confusing it with the g9 oled
G9 oled is less curved
ah yea
I just did a double check myself lol
also the reason i used custom was i imported my game settings which geforce experience changed when i installed drivers for the 4090 to optimize it
Why the fuck does samsung have to name 3 monitors G9
all i did in later screenshots was turn off dlss
Ahit's fucking confusing
the predecessor was called the crg9, which most certainly doesnt help either
crg9 was 1800r
And then the neo g9 57 inch is well... also called the neo g9
yup lol
Which it shares with the 49 inch version
This is using the same preset and i checked all settings match
I see
Yeah i was like i know a 4090 is more powerful but god damn 30k????
This makes more sense
yeah no i think geforce has put it on dlss and always enabled
prob so the gpus have better fps results to the layman or people who dont check like me
shocker
148fps 4090 vs 115 fps 7900xtx avg
So im 22.3% slower
That's more within what i expected
Do u guys have any favorite tech YouTubers to watch

I don't watch as much as I use to, but gamersnexus, hardware unboxed, level1tech
@wheat plume thought you would be interested in how these compare (apple watch ultra on left)
Honestly I think they both look too big and goofy on the wrist
on this persons wrist yes they look a bit bit imo
but can pull it off for some people
truee
Why would I? I have no knowledge. They have a lot more than me?
just because someone claims to have "more knowledge" doesn't mean you should listen to them
research and find out whether that would be the better option
Thermalright coolers are some of the best coolers on the market, even comparing them against expensive options
most cpus will run perfectly fine off of them
Oh this is about the coolers. Yeah I know thermalright is pretty much the gold standard. I learned that from gamer nexus lol
I just liked the full blackout from noctua
And technically the noctua did run cooler
But for the price it’s not worth it
a few degrees of difference won't be worth the extra 80-100$ premium for many expensive coolers
the only reason to get them is if you're looking for other things aside from performance such as aesthetics or loudness
They're both gonna cool your PC, I'm just a big noctua shill
