i remembered they have a better kit than the mako kit which is the pro tech toolkit (best would be the right to repair edition due to some extra tools) as it includes spudgers, suction cups, esd wrist band and all such for opening smaller devices that dont just fall apart without screws and need some prying.

Sure but that goes hand in hand, for some people it’s fine, for some it’s not and then you are forced to buy overpriced upgrades so the base price isn’t really what you can get it for anymore especially with some models where more memory comes with a forced chip upgrade
Like when I can buy single unit 8gb lpddr4x for 10 bucks apple quantities would be low single digit cost
