though it may be extreme
Sorry I misread your question
I thought you wanted a solvent to coat some object
Fair point though
Existing is dangerous
Yeah
But it is through, and the jewelry ones are an affordable tool
Some people in here used it to clean their lekker switches
❓ removing crusty old lube, or did they drop it into a swamp?
How long does it take them to ship the keyboard
Depends if you ordered it when there in stock or not
Even if you were able to order it doesn’t mean they were in stock
I think u can go here for to see ur order https://hub.wooting.io/order/view?
Access and edit your orders, connect your discord, and manage your Wooting account.
Not sure though
Nice pfp
For me I ordered it on the 17th of December and it’s estimated to come on January 21-29th
Man I use 99% iso to clean so much stuff
Not much it won't be able to clean 🤣
Yo
Tons of stuff iso won't touch
I know it won't touch DP460
MEK won't even phase it
iso is not good at all for cleaning sticker residue
stuff like googone is better
Yeah we have a 5 gallon of 99% iso at all times
Also I've never had issues using iso for removing sticker residue
Also haven't used it much for that though
I dunno, iso most of the time failed me with stickers residue, it just makes residue clump together, but it's still sticking
you just need to spend more time
when I took off the silicone pad off the uwu for painting the case, I rubbed it a good while with ipa until it was finally clean
I mean, yeah, in a pinch if you only have iso on hand it will work, but there is also stuff which does it better
Also, how did you stick it back?
Wondering about doing a mod to mine too
carpet tape!
just very thin doublesided tape that has the same kind of adhesive as common duct tape
so I guess doublesided duct tape
it's on there solid af now, but can be removed if you even have the need
the other option is contact glue which would pretty much permanently bond it there but I felt like it was too much of a nuclear solution

https://www.ikh.fi/en/carpet-tape-2-sided-56171-10m-50mm-ts028 pretty much identical to this, mine was just a store brand
Carpet tape it is then, thank you
my pleasure
99% ansi is better
alcohol is better
Ah yes

Never heard of that lol I know iso tho
best adhesive remover is mixing isopropyl and white spirit 50/50
it doesn't harm plastic and turns adhesive residue into easily removed boogers (if it doesn't dissolve it completely)
i use acetone to remove the plastic around the adhesive
propan-104-ol
Lmao
Orange oil is also good at removing adhesives, and it smells good to boot
emp_details = get_employee_details(emp_id)

Can we all appreciate how easy it is to assign each value in a list to a variable in Python?!
so you discovered for loops
but this doesnt need a loop...
Sure you can do x,y,z = a with lists, you can also with dicts, arrays, etc.
You can also do 1,2,3
I mean if you go over multiple elements then it loops, if you write for(;;) or if syntax hides it doesn't change that it has to loop over overy element
Sure, under the hood it's still a loop
But syntax is oh so much nicer
^
@umbral heron started playing palia again on my deck, how is controller support still so bad oml
It somehow got worse.
I thought list == array in Python?
and in other languages you have stuff like LINQ to hide it more or less the same just with different syntax ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Oh my, I haven't played Palia in a while
Good to know they haven't fixed controller yet -.-
They just released it on the switch.
How does that even work on the switch if controller support is "still in progress"
People don't seem to be unhappy with Switch's control scheme
At least in any article I could find
List is Python native, array is more or less a wrapper around C arrays
Arrays are more memory efficient, because... C, but when it comes to something other than math and very specific cases lists are way to go
yeah unpacking is nice
ahh!
list slicing is also super nice in python

Compiler isn't working
Oh, I remember how I nearly failed a semester because of Java...
Hated it.
But due to how our uni worked, getting a very high grade on another thing saved my ass.
oh, complimentary pass? xd
No?
40% is pass but if I got 30% it still counts in the overall % so if I got 90% in the other task which was worth more overall it works.
It was a weird system that I abused.
For two modules I was bad at
And how I was able to get around failing exams which I was so bad at doing.
Me and exams are a bad combo.
Although later on i I found out I had dyslexia and another special condition
which explained a lot.
In my case it was "how do you make a ServerSocket, I guess I just declare it, right?"
No you dummy, with ServerSocketFactory, of course!
I had no issues with basics, but when it came to some more Java-like stuff and all of that Java EE bullshit...
Somehow slipped with 53% on this exam (51% is pass)
For me it was everything java
I can't remember what it was but we had to make a bunch of programs with it.
Can't even remember what we used.
Was so long ago at this point
We had mostly theory, most of the programs we wrote we were already familiar with from other programming classes
Still, I can't write Java for shite
Other stuff was using stupid tools to make a game, very low marks as it was more of an introduction to the concept of variables etc which I knew
The fun part was programming with Lego robots, I gave up and just made a card game instead. Lego robots were an effort.
Most fun I had was when we were programming ARM chips from old Nokias, it was actually interesting to do something on such platform with limited resources we had
Arduino stuff was also cool, especially when the whole group was still struggling with connecting LED to board, while we were figuring out how to make MP3 library for chip we've connected to it

I mean anyone actually running 1000w+ in North America should have a 220v outlet installed anyway
All modern PSUs are more efficient at 220v.
Yes it is. Old transformer based psus dont care, as when you switch them to the 220v winding, the output of the transformer is the same.
ah
fair
you'd still have less loss in the wiring
that will absolutely make a difference
Maybe
not much
i wonder what the point of this device is
To power a computer?
I mean
2500 watts lol
if you have multiple 4090's for ai
you can just use multiple psus
Why have multiple PSUs, when you can have one.
if its like
More efficient, takes less space
Also PSU are most efficient in the middle of their power output
You don't want to run a 1200w at 1200w 24/7
Running a 2500w at 1200w is much easier on the components as they are in their most efficient operating range, thus making less heat
efficiency is also really important at this level
I wonder if cybenetics will make their measurements on this once it releases
When talking about a 1200w at 1200w vs a 2500w at 1200w, the 2500w will literally make half as much heat.
if space isnt a concern you could just get 2 1200 watt devices no
that will distribute the heat to 2 seperate devices
Why not run 10 250w?
because thats lower than the TDP of a 4090 lol
So
Just jerry-rig several PSU outputs into one 12-pin

Multiple isolated psus can be combined into single rails
they clam its 80 plus platinum with 94% effieciency at typical load
Yes
lets see how that holds up once the device is actually released
80plus rating is for 50% load
ik
Platinum can go down to like upper 80s at 100%
That's often not true
Especially if you pay the same amount for the two psus
But yea this would be far better for generating heat
Most psus have poor efficiency low down due to excess idle power, and the more psus the more idle power
xposed isnt even a thing anymore is it
isnt everything magisk modules nowadays so you dont break safetynet and such
LSPosed took over I guess https://github.com/LSPosed/LSPosed
what for, pumpkin?
Arden, don't go around and hammer everyone
Everyone knows the more anime girls on the repo the more trustworthy it is
I'm saying single PSU, using that as a bad example
This is a platinum, and it's the only 2500w on the market for desktops right now, so it is true.

Not only is it not on the market, it's also not 120v compatible, plenty of adapters available for server psus
I've yet to see a rom which has FM radio support
Never said it was 120v and sever PSU won't fit in most cases due to length
I have a mostly working koolance PSU. They were neat, if ran on 220v it raised the ocp so it went from 1200w to 1700w
And assuming peak efficiency is 50% that's still 72w
Cheapest 1300w psu is 108w at the same load
https://www.ebay.com/itm/145066423548
The fsp uses its own connector, this would be for the dell
Cheapest titanium which the fsp also is
And you cant possibly mean to say that the fsp is gonna be 160
And you are also trolling if you think that switching to 240 doesn't automatically provide efficiency benefits either
On that psu sure
But it's not double
If you pay less for the 2 1200s then sure potentially
You also can't fit 2 psus in most cases
But if you spend even a reasonably close amount on the psus, it'll end up barely ahead
Yes and you cant get 240 in your office in most markets, your point?
Fortunately it at least should in theory support 210w, but I suspect efficiency takes a dive
It's speced 200-240v inputs
Oh and ofc the 2500 is less efficient than the ax1600i anywhere over 100w, and that's with the 1600i at 120v
The 1600i at 240v is unbeatable except for the mij
And yet 2/3 phase electricity still screws up everything it touches
208v not 210v my bad
You have no idea though
Most of these high power units only fall short of the 0%/10% tests for higher ratinfs
120>240 is generally 4-5% efficiency improvement
120 >208 is 1-2%
208 really screws with equipment
And that highly depends on the psu
Generally the higher the wattage, the lower the ratio goes
That because of phase rotation not voltage though
What 480v single leg to a center tapped step down is best.
Ofc, but in the US, you don't get to choose what you get
208 has always been ass
Yes you do
No, the average American does not
The average American doesn't live in a new big building
The average American however can afford to buy a case with a second psu mount
Which doesn't help your efficiency
Average American lives in a house or small apartment that is just split phase.
Probably not actually lol
House sure
Small apartment? Citation needed
They can't after the psus either
Duplex/triplex is extremely common
all mesh O11 would be my dream case
no, link?
ooo nice
throw some magnetic dust filters on it and GG
🤷 idk, citation needed
And the next issue is most of the 200+v wiring in the house is only for the garages and kitchens for newer places
Bedrooms, offices and living areas don't get that treatment, which massively balloons the cost of getting that psu

noctua fans on the ProArt AIO
that's too clean
I would love to replicat it
wrong chat
it goes in #🐸│memes
smh Avanna do you even know how channels work
is there actually a proart gpu?
well damn, I know what I'm gonna replicate
kek
is there a amd version too?
shame the X670E ProArt is kinda exspensive
sadly not
Every aspect of ASUS ProArt motherboards is built to remove barriers and deliver optimal performance to content creators who work in 3D modeling and rendering, animation or media production. Every ASUS ProArt motherboard empowers you to concentrate on your creativity and expand what is possible.
$500 mobo, but it does come with 10 GbE
only thing I wouldn't use there is the cooler, probably would swap it out for something from noctua or be quiet
it comes with noctua fans
I'm just not a fan of aios
I wonder how well the founders 30/40 series looks with that
prob decent, similar colors
they both have that kind of gunmetal bronze color
yea, a lot less than usual
best bet is to just get couple large usb hubs and use those instead
a lot more space optimized
not to mention why motherboards even include the insane amount of audio jacks
most actual hifi products you'll be taking audio over usb anyways
or optical
yea
keep the optical and coax
asus prob got patents on em but I wish other use their GPU latch button and toolless m.2 mounts
nice QoL
Asrock have the worst aesthetics out of the 4, except for their Taichi

though it wouldn't look bad in an Orange themed AMD build
since amd looks good with red or orange
yeah
reminds me of sunny d drink
love that as a kid
man I wish pcs still had this level of cleanliness
now it's all the same
stuff like this was peak
kek I'll never use rgb that needs software
my current fans have a button and I just set it to white
I like to set mine rainbow or white
I had it on white last night
ram is the only lighting I have on in my pc as of now, everything else is too polarizing
it would be cool to do an all 1 brand build
but I think it's only possible with Asus and maybe gigabyte
actually gigabyte cuz they are the only one with DDR5 ram
hii, anyone know the raw data frame size to the wooting 60 he? c:
pliss, if anyone can say me, thx so much!
Does anyone have a recomendation for a M.2 -> OCuLink board that I could put in this M.2 slot under a GPU?
would just look at any of the ones appearing on amazon that have some rating, dont think prices vary much and it's not something that should be hard to make
Yeah I'm just not super sure on how the clearences would work out.
A key?
oh for the sizes yeah no idea
yeah
Also it seems like a lot of listings may or may not have cables/PCI-e boards so that's going to be fun.
what do you need it for? havent seen oculink used for much aside from on handhelds
yeah consumer could do with some more pcie alas we dont really get it
makes sense then to use that adapter
Because that was pretty old, I got a massive deal on this stuff, and Threadripper is really expensive for what my income was like and will be like for a little while longer.
Plus this stuff is fun.
I know I have three lanes left to play with.
The really long traces are a touch spooky, but I suppose if the plan is to shove it though a cable anyway...
0.o
I guess the idea is for you to snap off the extra pins that have no function.
wild
I don't see why they couldn't just like, not include those.
But I suppose without a PCI-e bracket it makes some sense.

This oculink pci-e converter enables belowing applications.
Looks like it's just the board.
my guess would be because its a common pcb length and maybe easier to get the structure to not break vs something super short?
I get why the board itself is that long, but you could just move the connector closer to the other end and have the same length.
I think I will just buy a M.2 adapter for now, if it doesn't fit I'm going to have to change my tactics.
I would guess that's to put it away from the conneciton point to let cables fit better perhaps?
Oh that's fair.
The M.2 slots do have some bulk to them.
I think these are funny.
I understand the niche, but it is still funny.
There are a ton of listings for that red one.
any1 knows free easy video editing software? (i just want to crop)
read the error message, what does it say
tmw you only assign data to it in an if block and have no fallback
I have to declare it as an empty list first?
not necessarily
read the message
well, that could work
depends on what you want to do when the if case is not happening
fixed it...
didnt know you had to declare variables as empty before using them in Python
it now doesnt error out but is this the way you want to return it if it is false?
no thats not the case
Ive not done that a lot in this code
that wasnt the issue
what was?
remove the assignment
then pretend like you are the compiler and go through the code
im actually saying the answer but you dont think about : what to send back if i dont get in the if statement
oh god.... sometimes i wonder how lana passed her exams
what happens when if case is true, what if its false
same
so what happens if the function gets called and the if case does not happen?
very basic rundown of a very basic fallacy beginners run into with interpreted languages
yeh, my code when I call the function checks if it returned nothing or a value
because lana otherwise wont understand
I already have a check in place if that if fails
if what fails?
yeah but you are trying to return something you never made if hte if doesn't get called
so how about explictly typing it that way and returning it that way
python has quite flexible type hints
what should the function return. so that the other function knows it fails
also another reason why I hate whitespace languages
brackets make it so much easier to see whats in what scope
I hate it too and I use it for AI/ML
yeh...
same
Unless the coder does the ending brace at the end of the last line 🤦♀️
If you just want to crop handbrake, avidemux, or just plain old ffmpeg will do nicely.
anyway time for bed
a very easy fix to your function is also inverting the IF and doing an early return with the expected null or whatever python uses
prob NIL
no, this shit is awful
Just do this instead () && code
🤔
I like weirdly placed brackets over no brackets
so id just
if verify(id) is false
return None
actually build the data since id is valid
return dataorwhateveryoucalledit
yes early returns are a standard that is quite established nowadays
well idk about fastest tbh but mainly makes code more readable as you dont stuff the expected path into a big if chunk
you stuff the exception into the if so the rest of the code isnt nested into something
well its still true
not guaranteed
a human parser would deffo be faster at reading an early return
compiler likely makes it the best way either way and you should always put readability first
if you get to the part that something like manual inlining or similar is needed to get more performance instead of not doing a double for loop, you are senior level anyway

i feel getting bad compiler optimizations requires some real code gymnastics
its not bad compiler optimization but ambigous stuff where you need to confirm it with compiler hints or such
thats true
but unless you do super low level stuff it's more likely you have an inefficent function call in your main loop and that gets you 10x the performance
.
Can anyone recommend any good sites to shop for mech keyboard cases/parts?
I usually go to kbdfans but not liking any cases I’d want to use on some builds for new keycap purchases.

Nothing wrong with that.
Everyone learns differently.
Why are you on your phone.
Sure.....
Why are your pings enabled during sleep? 😛
You have a problem if you're using push notifications. 😉
Tbf I have notifs enabled when asleep because I'm too lazy to setup auto DND but barely anything sends out sound or turns on screen for me.
It is
just set it up. it takes a couple of seconds
It's just my sleeping is so inconsistent but like I said nothing really pings for me.
well that says more about your terrible sleeping patterns than Do not disturb mode
just disable all notifications and use the app only when you have time ;)
Well there is everything wrong with it if the same question gets repeated over and over then
the X2H is unreal, holy shit
X2V2 left, X2H right.
I have the OG X2. The only issue I have is that it feels a bit low and I prefer my Atlantis more due to the hump. Does that V2H fix that in your opinion?
Can I get advice on monitor arms
Would anyone here say getting two single arms is worse than a single arm that holds multiple monitors?
Ik kinda debating it because it feels like it'll be easier to deal with it
not much of a difference just get whats better for your setup
based on the shape yeah, it has higher hump and would fill ur hand more.
That's what I thought. Now that they're doing a Founders Edition of the X2V2H. I might be interested.
I love the color. Is the coating improved? The original felt a bit slick.
i never tried the atlantis so im just letting u know based on the shape comparison. but i have tried all these mices
I'm talking about the coating, not the shape. Sorry if that was unclear.
well i didnt try the older x2 so i cant compare it to the new ones. But no complaints on the coating
My understanding was that Pulsar mad a change with the Bruce Lee edition onward but I haven't handled one of the next gen yet.
Gotcha thanks.
the side buttons are my biggest complaints, theyre so small
the scroll wheel is also hard to press down on sometimes, but some ppl get used to that.
but the clicks are some of the best i tried, theyre so CRISP
Booo u
I prefer mech over optical usually but considering the issues Pulsar has had I get why they switched.
if u really want the best coating, go with deathader Faker. its unreal

I am staunchly anti-Razer so it's a no-go for me.
if its because of their software, u dont gotta use it. All settings can be on memory
I had a Naga Trinity for a few years and it was fine but I detest their software.
It's more that I'd rather support a smaller company
They tend to take more risks and gamble with new tech or designs.
I really like the cable management on this one
But this one seems to be better but worse for cable management?
HUANUO Single Monitor Arm for 13 to 32 inch Screen, Gas Spring Monitor Arm, Home Office Monitor Mount, Easy Installation, Adjustable Tilt Swivel Rotate, VESA 75x75 100x100, Weight 9 KG
cable management can easily be done with straps
I understand that but it's hidden on the first tbf
and unless you look behind your screen.. not something i'd look for
True.....
what's the purpose of monitor arms?
To be the arm for my monitor
A lot of monitors have really limited height adjustment.
Pretty much
Also easier to do multi monitor, since you can adjust the arms to make the line up and stay lined up.
makes it so they take up less space on the desk if the have big stands otherwise
Also a good point. Gaming monitors often have that wide boomerang arm.
and easier to adjust if you have a desk you use seated and standing
naruhodo
Help
I also need to get an under desk cage for wires, apparently the frame I got comes with some but it looks meh.
you have a 3d printer

looks fine?

I'll be honest. If this actually kills off german dubbing on TV, I will fully embrace it.
Cause DAMN that is hell on earth. Especially when you visit Poland and they dub the dub.
So you've got english VO, then half a second later the german overdub begins (which is pretty enthusiastic, proper VO) and THEN just after that, dull, polish "I am reading from a piece of paper, oh wow" begins.

That's why you don't watch the dub
It's atrocious in many cases ;-;
And when it's not it's usually well-known actors who do the dub, so you recognize their voices and it completely throws you out
Props to Sony for actually taking some less known VAs, Polish dub in GOW is decent
the polish overdubbing goes HARD
dont hate on it
I shall
the same, monotone voice dubbing over 50 different characters
without even trying to change his voice
is just based
"Why are you watching movies in English" that's exactly why
that shit is so funny
there is this super emotional scene being dubbed over by the same monotone voice
you have heard in 50 other movies before
to be fair, from what i can tell
its becoming a thing of the past
Tomasz Knapik has voiced thousand of movies and TV shows, and he's still going, to a point it's a meme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPWWe0hhJuc
It's kinda like LTT a few months ago
I watch ltt more for the entertainment and not the technical accuracy so that didnt bother me too much
but thats not the case with igor
it's pretty cool how it imitates his accent
regarding the content of the video, shame but so far it's just one tester
they did improve over the last few months from what I can tell
less video uploads with higher quality
so something actually changed which isnt super common
you can tell that the mouth movements are jittery, would probably have been better to have them blur instead
the issue as he said is it's not the first time from that tester, no acknowledgment, no retraction etc.

found this in the internet archive, appears to be deleted now
oh god this makes it even worse
no thats not the issue
kinda weird that they deleted it amidst this controversy tho
look what the company is he supposedly went to
that means this could be done by him on purpose or something in alphacool going bad
pascal is misusing the YT copyright system to take down his terrible response videos lel
the german one is still up

wait even the gnlish one is still there for me
they mant their own response
pascal made a video
and used copyright to take it down himself
to make it seem he didnt delete it himself
lmfao
I mean, he is to some degree
published under his name, the explanation didnt stick around, he didnt take the articles down when it should have happend, he said he cant stop pascal from making a statement etc.
but it's all his website
and pascal can continue doing tests
yeah "tiger"
quick clip demonstrating the impressive AI translation
is that dutch
thats some weird ass accent
like the most german accent ever heard by human kind
romans english is far better from that
romans didnt speak english
Not in this video maybe but in other videos he's far better than that
That part is ew but other parts are great
I may have replaced his voice with a shitty tts one for laughs
Had to order longer display port cables 😒
The numbers gave the AI away the most
You sure it wasn't the tag at the top that stated it explicitly lol
Well duh. Most of it was pretty good, if I had never seen his English videos before it might even pass
But numbers for AI is like fingers
@rugged pelican are you who we are supposed to ping for the translations?
i'd like to translate Catalan, but there is no entry for it on Crowdin
Kind of wish I should share my gboard data between my phone and tablet
Been asking for that for years
RIP Gregg's paycheck
If this had an rtx 2080 instead this would be Irish tech stores
honestly, apart from the GPU, reasonably ok system
And 16gb ram instead of 32
would rather buy the PC without definitely used drives though
And no SSD
If this was sold in Irish store I meant
2080
16gb ram
No SSD
€2700
32GB feel comfty now
I have 16
diablo 4 made me upgrade to 32
O.o
32gb is nice
as do I
and it ain't really enough
thankfully the system I just built has 32gb
I have 32GB of B-die
...it doesn't have a GPU yet so I am not gaming on it though

Yo

Speed?
3200
Brand?
?
unironically the generic, default choice
Uhh
No idea
I have 3200 CL14, haven't tried OCing yet
No
The default out of box speed is 2666
I might send you a Corsair pro RGB kit with the 60he
3200 cl16 is like standard issue ram
Oo....
...I know
I meant that a 3200 kit is the default DDR4 choice
Yeah xd
Idek if my motherboard would support ddr5
I haven't drank enough tonight
Not at the same time...
no, only one sort of ram on a board
...the sticks are not interchangeable
physically impossible
Oh
and even if you fudged the connectors, it wouldn't work
but you wouldn't bother with that anyway
So any ddr4 mobo can't support ddr5?
bingo
Aha
this is why you can't slot DDR3 ram into a DDR5 mobo to save money
thanks intel
back to you steve
Even so..... Idek if that would save much anyway xd
you'd be shocked at the kind of computer hardware you can find at a junkyard if you look

were there more than really just this one?
at least officially
the chinese have done some janky asf nonsense
http://www.huananzhi.com/en/more.php?lm=10&id=306
got myself one of these lovely boards
of course, did you seriously think gigabyte would sit out a cursed option?
look at that lovely old design of this webpage
oh wow thats way back

during this era it was less cursed since the memory controllers were on the chipset, so it was more up to the motherboard how the memory support would look
oh yeah fair point
but cursed from a consumer point, cant imagine there were many situations where that made sense
i dont hate that this is gone

its cl9
yeah ddr3 has much lower timings in general, compared to ddr5

I love machining, it's really fucking incredible
these absurdly small manufacuring processes
so relieved to learn that blower cards aren't dead
yet
NVidia doesn't like these because...well
they cannibalize their "quadro" line
safe to say that's the only way I'll be able to get a reasonably sized flagship in coming generations
these are two slot cards less than 300mm in length
dedicated workstation cards
if they could actually play around with the dimensions of the blower cards, they could definitely make good coolers that would fit most systems in that format, perhaps by making a three slot design, making the card a tad longer, perhaps even just making the card wider so that the heatsink can have larger area without making the card thicker and longer...
but they can't, supposedly
either way, these supposedly do keep the 4090 both cool and getting comparable scores in benchmarks
...noise cancelling headphones are almost mandatory though

oh wait, NVidia did just that in their FE cards while making a...semi blower

other room cards
didn't think they'd still be floating around though
that's what surprised me
exactly what I was thinking haha
but NVidia has the whole quadro in all but name lineup
and apparently selling 4090s in that form factor kills those sales
also helps that a blower in said form factor can only do so much
Thankfully it's a very specific vulnerability and easy to mitigate
what has the softshell turtle done

Reading that comment seems more aimed at flatpaks as a distribution method, rather than as a format.
Which I will add is still stupid as flathub publishes the build files so one could check it just fine.
Valves support team
yeh
plus, nothing stops you from making your own repository if you so desire. the man is ignorant, but that's not new
I can't picture him as a sexual being really lol
He was mostly targeting the repo not the packaging format though. Which still is inaccurate in case of flathub
we can beam space videos but we still cant get isps to make working ethernet
and I thought my ex girlfriend's attention mongering was out of hand
So you're telling me that NASA can send a signal to space that's faster than my internet by like... 30x?
Man that sucks
Ah well receive a signal from space
Nu
Second verse same as the first... Man that sucks.
it is kinda annoying that even basic packages are becomming flatpaks
and integration is still not super, like drag and drop
I currently do not use any flatpaks on my system, could change in the future but I do prefer native packages.
postman, tuba (a mastodon client), Beyond all reason, chromium (??), free desktop (pre installed?), cheese, kicad, prism launcher, signal, soapui, widelands
generally I tend towards the same. I dislike the bad command line integration of flatpaks. it's great in a pinch tho
I like the idea of remoting in for a third screen kinda

Problem is wireless debug tanks battery
its also over usb
Wait.....it is also wireless now????
kek. apparently the opera GX promotion for 1 month free discord nitro is super easily exploited
Opera GX made a pretty dumb mistake and it resulted in people generating an infinite amount of Discord Nitro promotion codes.
But what is the mistake that lets people get these codes? And how many can you generate at a time? Well it turns out there are increasingly more nerdy ways to generate more and more free nitro codes. And surprisingly, I ...
TLDW: OperaGX lets OperaGX users get free nitro trial but clicking the button on their website. that site generate a token that can be used in Insomnia or other tool to automatically send a request to that site to generate another link

Definitely, It's one of those first time nitro trials, really not worth anything imo.
As for payment methods, it also serves to prevent people from farming the discounts.
Opening new nitro accounts to boost servers and such.
Well either way you can't create 100 discord acounts with free trials to keep a server boosted or something like that.
I personally keep my Discord Nitro free.
or save all the codes and use them later as you need
I don't know how long these keeps, it's not like these types of codes have been rare historically at least.
most of those headers arent even needed
yeh probably not
IDK why Windows should be there, doesnt matter the OS (Id assume) unless OperaGX only wants Windows users to get the promo or OperaGX isnt on Linux but I think it is
Looks like a quick hack-job type of code sure but why should you go through the effort to check which headers are actually needed
with what?
nitro
just download operagx, go to the promo, get the link and uninstall gx
this exploit is basically useless
Yeah it's one free month every year
There are so many free month promos it not worth it
Maybe if you made a ton of accounts with prepaid cards, and cycled them for a month each over the year to boost your server
damn, 50 million ps5 sales since launch and the both xbox series combined is less than half of that
means the ps5 is selling just as well as the ps4
Nitro. Is not worth it
even then youll just get banned at some point prob
Guess that's why Microsoft recently said they are changing their game pass and console approach recently
yup as pc and xbox makes little sense
And consoles are loss leaders generally, so I bet ms makes more from GP on PC than xboz
ps5 aint
xbox no clue but with how slow it sells and the sales they need, yeah that hurts even more
It makes money now? Last year Sony said it was still a loss
sales look to be a bit mediocre at first glance, but we're also just at about the halfway point of this gen's lifecycle
that's pretty good, considering you couldn't get any consoles for a few months
i can see them take #3 or 4 in that list, if the pro is good and they have some compelling games
if not it will likely be around the ps4 mark
I can't see the X axis without a subscription to statista, but I'll go on a limp saying that the hump at around the halfway point marks the release of the PS4 slim/pro
so if that's anything to go on regarding sales ratio of upcoming PS5 models, it won't double their sales but they can expect about a 15-20% boost
I think it will not be reaching the sales numbers of the ps4, but even then it puts microsoft to shame
it'll more likely be equivalent or slightly less than PS3 sales in my (rough) estimation
I mean ps5 is keeping up and we have had not many amazing sales
now think that gta6 will come to ps first most likely
You can clear cookies and local storage for statista and it'll show you whole graph
id assume the far left is the first month or so from preorder
its yearly then monthly thats why it spikes there
oh shit! that's a twist
id imagine its because of numbers released
Has anyone ever accidentally plugged a USB C cable into the HDMI port on their mobo and shory their PC?
Because Christ I have
totally never ever done this especially not with customer pcs
And with no really killer exclusive either.
Gross.
maybe something else before even
Deckard copium?
deckard cain?

don't doubt it for a second
PSVR2 seems rather impressive
given the rather unimpressive hardware it's running off of and general cost associated with such a setup
I hope eye track makes it into PCvr in a big way
Added to steamVR
according to sadlyitsbradley
What actual devs do with it is to be seen
The PSvr2 works on PC now
Idk if eyes tracking dose
It dose
You gotta pay though
Well I should say. They have shown it working
I don't own a psvr or the driver
There is more on the paetron
But who knows
Not like anyone has lied about that shit to get money
Those lights look so small for the size of that car lol
Sorta reminds me of a fiat multipla
Russian multipla! And they managed to make it even more ugly
Yeah well maybe not the Multipla is hard to beat 😅
Well, it definitely looks like Multipla which came to Russia and was going back home after several bottles of vodka and samogon
