i have a super aggressive fan curve anyways, no fan movement till like 40c then it goes full tilt at 70c

I believe that in most Modern aio's the pump speed is linked to the fan speed with a minimum speed because otherwise it will not run at all.

I personally prefer to set them at a slow speed at lower temps and only start ramping things up at 70c with full tilt at 3-5c below the trottle point

and max is not even max fan speed as I accept a bit of trottling above that.

Sounds like me complaining about a lack of micro-sd slots on modern phones.
Used to be really common on android but becomes rarer by the year.
Meanwhile with crashing nand pricings, 500gb and 1tb smartphones still command a large premium.

Oh I just custom rom away, and while android 14 does some nice thing I wouldn't mind sticking to 13 as long as the community provides upates.
Not saying custom roms is a must have anymore, however on miui devices it really is.

Also personally like to have root, for a collection of smaller reasons that remain relevant for me.
