now that surprises me greatly
they dont sound fantastic, but they definetly arent airline headphone level...

for people like me who are overclocking that 12 VHPWR connector indicates nothing but headaches. The wire gauge agreed upon and currently in use is way too small, the cables are way too cramped next to each other, leaving no room between the cables in case you're going for something like 600W, the sensor wires are even worse by restricting the capacity you could go for. Like the whole concept of it is flawed and unnecessary

cable distance to each other is practically meaningless
sense wires are literally a safety measure that anyone could instruct a 5 year old to bypass
and the concept of it is get the same current capability as 2 8 pin connectors into a single connector

3090 kingpin has 3 8 pins which is 50% larger and 33% less current capability

the only advantage of the 8 pin is the existing installbase

but theres another disadvantage too
we accept this becauser we are used to it, but there are 2 different incompatible 8 pins on the same PSU standard...
