Actually that's wrong, but also right at the same time. Lemme give you a quick run down from someone deeply involved in the motorsports and tuning scene: An ECU adjusts the fuel injection by measuring air pressure, density and flow. Your car will use much more fuel in an area way above the sea level, i.e. a mountain.
If we're talking about stock factory cars right off the production line, then yeah, you don't have to fiddle around with the ECU, unless you want a more efficient engine and more power. In that case an ECU tuning can take weeks to months. Basically mapping the entire ECU from the ground up

I honestly don't think the AdBlock piracy take is that bad. Legally they are different, sure.

Lemme just say that without severe ad filtering on Facebook, it is legitimately unusable.

Every third post you scroll past is an ad.

They removed the ability to default to "newest, first" in favour of their "algorithm FOR YOU" style feed a year ago. And it is TERRIBLE.

Of course, I will not deny that, though I have never used Facebook. I have also pirated almost everything for a long time and still pirate some types of content.
Just as a point that both are forms of freeloading morally is still valid and I would agree with that.
I can also see that blocking ads is the only viable way to consume content. My personal solution has been to block everywhere but pay for premium in a few places that really matter to me.

I wish there was some broader multi-site ad pass that worked well but there isn't.
