I just bought a Samsung 980 Pro SSD today, capable of PCI Gen 4 and up to 7000mb/s. Unfortunately upon installing it today and running CDM I noticed it's only running on ~3500mb/s limit, pretty much what most PCI Gen 3 drives do. Anyone an idea why? My CPU is a 5600X, which supports PCI 4, and my mobo is the Asus TUF B550 Plus, with the m.2_1 slot being PCI Gen 4 capable. Also tried specifically setting Gen 4 in the BIOS without success. It's also not sharing bandwidth with anything, as seen in the picture below

Yeah the 6xx is a pretty stellar deal at 140$. Not heard them, but according to ASR, they're within variation for the HD600 basically.

6XX, 600, and 650 are identical pretty much outside of very minor things and can all be EQ'd to sound like each other, so best to go with whats cheapest

I probably never would've got the HD600 if they hadn't had the pricing error, so glad I did. Sound excellent.

Getting the cheapest tier deck and an 1TB M.2 SSD is landing right in the middle price tier deck here, the cheapest tier + 2TB would be more expensive than the highest tier deck , could potentially get some cheaper from AliExpress but yeah

been working through all of the games i own that i havent played before
but humble is filling the list faster than I clear it out

tho after installing all the games, it slowed back down

Would just use the Deck when i'm at the Summer cottage or traveling. Also the Ally seem to have it's problems atm. was considering it because of the better chip and display to play while i'm away buut yeah

Flawed quite possibly but looking at the cracks it may very well have been over tightened and combined with a more brittle plastic that may form a crack.

Not saying it's good quality, it probably isn't but user error may also have been a factor here.

Yeah kinda miss the PSP, modded GTA:LCS on PSP forever ago was a really nice time with the modding community (And other games)

Kinda one can put it in hibernation mode but with melting SD cards and the overall janky Windows, eeh

The Ally has better display and chip than the SD and also when you lock the TDP to 18W is said to be perfect on the Ally still both the SD and Ally use 40WHrs batteries and so both have that against them but nothing that a power bank won't solve
