Ally isn't looking very portable. To start beating the Steam Deck it'll need to use 10w more, and it has the same battery size. Games that last like 2 hours on the deck will probably last less than an hour on the Ally. Gets less portable.

Updates allow for forced obsolescence, to slow down your phone and make you buy a new one after a few years

I had to abandon my beautiful Nokia 7 just cause I went the full way from Android 7 to Android 10 or whatever it was called, and it was slow af with the last Android update

It killed my fuckin phone

You can also often back up the phone, wipe it, and reinstall the current version and have it be an order of magnitude faster

Sometimes the update process just messes up :/

All of the Samsung tablets also allow you to use Dex when in tablet mode and I think that would be awesome for the fold

My phone does 1200 and it's barely acceptable
Pro devices generally target 2k or 5k for outdoor use

Paper outdoors averages 20k nits, near the equator or higher elevation it can hit 50k nits
