Smaller case not worth, the constantly increasing gpu sizes made sffpc really annoying

Smaller for me would have been pop air mini.
Right now I have a case that fits a 420 aio in the top, so there is still a lot of room to go smaller

I had to do so many little mods to make my h1 fit and then not thermal throttle newer gpu, if I could go back in time I’d have just bought a full size case

I did a few mods to my case as well (Phanteks enthoo luxe)
Added led strips to the side panel for beter component visibility.
Removed the psu shroud, replaced fans and my latest mod added blocks under the feet for better airflow on my bottom fans

I’m going opposite for next build in a couple years and will go with something like a fractal torrent and giant fans lol

Sffpc headaches made me not want to worry about these issues next time

I thought about going smaller form factor mostly because I could but real Sff is a pain for upgrading later on

Yeah it’s the upgrades that become headaches, didn’t help that gpus decided they needed to double in size for some reason

I feel like that has something to do with them becoming double the price as well

But mostly wanted at least 3 m.2 slots and while I could have also gone with the gaming x or the tomahawk it seems like the better pick for my needs

It does help, it's the rear of the case itself that does the bending, certainly not perfect but it does help
