The controller switch really shouldn't make a big impact on the latency, and since the 2HE is a bigger keyboard, it naturally is a bit slower, so it might be like a teeny bit slower but around the same anyways.

The TwoHE comes in two variants. One with an AVR based MCU (processor), and one with ARM.
The 1.4ms you're referring to is more like 1.1 or 1.2 now, and only relates to the AVR MCU.
All 60HE and 2HE keyboards being produced now are ARM based, which has lower ms - which is good.

So Usb A pinouts is like following, but as USB-C (the one wooting comminucates through) has double pinouts in mirrrored orientation, I should only need to hook up CC1 and CC2 to VCC, all 4 grounds to ground and the respective USB 2.0 data? Right?
Because Im gonna hook it up to an USB shield for arduino for a first iteration test and add a radio module talking to one of these typical USB wireless reciever you put in the computer
