Yeah
i found it!
That was nice for recalibrating
Yeah it tiny
Fair enough
hd rumber motors are giant compared to that
Technically I guess for it to work better they probably would have to design to top around it in mind
Right
I do not think we need that per day like sure it would be nice to have haptic motors under each deep click button
100% no room for that lol
Cuz that way even if the button gives out someday you can disable surface level actions and replace it with solidstate behavior based on pressure
the deepclick goes from bottom to top
Right
they are standard omron microswitches
on a seperate pcb from the force
easy to replace
Yeah the PCB floats
i swapped mine for clickier ones
mouse wheel?
Oh button
is a damn smd dome
Hmm
Loved my swift point z, only stopped using it as the scroll wheel became inconsistent, moved to light mice and don't think I can go back to something so heavy now though.
yeah the wheel is an issue
the alps encoder was like $4?
Yep I think I got 2 for that price
It does feel much more nice
Though I still wish there was a heavier mechanical encoder but that seems almost impossible with how jagged the teeth are
Hell to replace it though and alps encoder need a trim
i have caded a thin pcb to mound a microswtich under the wheel
Nice
you need a resin printer to make a part to go over the wheel shaft and hit the button though
to get the force right
it makes a lever
That makes sense tolerances are better on it
if you just on of the lowpro micros under it, its why to light
the smaller swtichs are only like .2nm
alps has a 6x3x4 mm swtich
that is 1nm
but i havent gotten any
Operation feeling : Sharp feeling ・ Mount type : Surface mount ・ Dimensions (W×D×H) : 6.1×3.7×2.5mm ・ Features : Compact size
Oh these are for cars
but back to it
the stock ones are 6mm high
so with a 0.6mm pcb
sitting on the screw
you loose almost a mm
if you get a longer replacement screw it would only be the pcb
Hmm
so you need sub 5mm
which is skinny
also found out most places size the switch by the body
which made it hard
Would it maybe be a little easier to reuse part of the original switch+ 3d printed part to secure the new switch and + new switch?
I thought I saw contacts nvermind
there are contacts
but you need to fit a large swtich it has to go over a screw
so it wont sit flat
mine goes bad once a year almost lol
Oof
mind the dirty grip its been a while sense ive cleaned it lol
also pulled my mouse pad up so it wasnt black on black
Other side is more grimy lol
i never installed the rear grip becuase my hand dosnet hit it
Whatcha cut this from?
cant clean that very well
Interesting
this you can soap and water
mhm
but the grip I get is remarkable (I'm gluing sandpaper to my mouse xD)
enough so to justify reapplying when my mouse needs a clean
this is too
its firm enough to hold the grip shap
but soft enough it dosent take skin off
Inb4 doge has no fingerprints
i can run my mouse with just 2 fingers on the buttonsx
and its heavy
it has that much grip
without clicking
i did get too spicy and tlited my hand and clicked
Q
but it makes sense
its easier with mouse pad
with the grip on the ring finger
i just need that and finger tips to run it
Bruh your hands are humongous
yeah
and I can BARELY use the ring finger rest
thats how far its up there
almost all the way over the mains
but the ring finger is on 1/4 of that grip
and my pinky always drags if i do that
so i end up with ring griping the side
Interesting
idk who the modled it after
no one has ring fingers that long
lol
i WISH it had a triple button setup though
i miss that from my g600
im though about running the two buttons left of the index finger
to the ring side
Mine fits fine
your pinky just floating?
Yeah cuz I would prefer not to grip the side
ah
If anything that rest should be wider
but the mouse has side grips
for both fingers
im talking about trying to use them all at once
with my pinkey on the pinkey grip there is no way lol
Cool carbon fiber bent box
mouse for someone who dosent work
I would honestly be concerned how dirty the bottom is
Yeah pengrip ones I am guessing
ErgoPoint has a vertical 'hand shake' design, tested and proven to minimize pain and discomfort associated with long-term computer use. ErgoPoint features Swiftpoint's performance-enhancing software, ensuring you're taking the appropriate amount of micro and rest breaks to stay healthy, happy and productive.
its like a ergo kb
i ahve really though about a second spacemouse for ED
I wanted to get one after learning the z does not support cad as well as I could
the z is fine in cad?
Anywho if swift point ever implements mouse movement emulation it will fix that issue for me
yep, they're a thing
That seems nice if you live in Death Valley
How much of an impact do Ohms have on audio quality?
cause I saw a few reviews mention that the DT 770s have a different sound depending on what Ohm model you get
like the 200 Ohm model sounds different to the 80 Ohm model etc
only impedance damping matters
huh?
well for the first part of your question
the DT770 ohm versions are pretty much different headphones each
slight differences
Everyone said the 200 Ohm model has much better sound over the 80 Ohm :/
I fail to see how they can have a huge impact
YouTube shorts user, laugh at them
watching short form content, laugh at this user
so is your attention span
Yet shortform is literally something a lot don't want - at all.
because every 12 yo and their mom is on TikTok getting brain damage
i like both. I like short form content for somedays when my attention span simply doesn't exist. long term for everything else.
Nah it's because TikTok is a harmful app, it has a very smart algorithm
Yeah YouTube is probably getting less money, so worse processing or servers, idk how it works exactly but something like that
Ever seen hamza?
Most are 15-30mins long
I'd say the most common is like 10-15 mins
it's 100x longer than tiktok
i have trouble watching 10-15min.
In tv terms 30mins is like avg idk wym
either it's gotta be in the under 5 minutes or 20-30+
Because you probably also watch short form content
i watched a 7 1/2 hour speedrun over the weekend in one sitting.
that's a bit rare for me but i do it every once in a while
30mins-1 hour is like the most common for tv
i got up to take the occasional piss but it was all in one day and other than to get food and use the bathroom, i watched it
most shows are 30-45min
You shouldn't be sitting for more than 1 hour lol
do not sit there and tell me you get up every hour on the hour to do your stretches and being the healthiest person on the internet
I don't do that, I get up because I get bored of playing lol
I literally split a 2hour movie into 3 sessions lol
i watch like 45 mins a day
I see
i want to watch Bullet Train and i'm sure there's a few others
that reminds me of speed
I mean the one with that one guy with a jawline
i'm not surprised
Am I seeing lanaposting??
no? the image literally says what its about
lol
lol
the update is 600mb for December, gosh damn
also, this maintainer is fucking fast
I dont have a Pixel!
I got a custom ROM that is a port of Pixel 6 rom
6A got the same CPU, y u nu spatial audio?
what is cough n snore detection
Why'd you need something useless
I think its for people who are partially deaf
Like how iPhone can tell you if it hears a particular sound
i see
did you know snoring, or even breathing thru your mouth can change your facial structure
in what way?
and that also goes for if you have good tongue posture too
?
basically just have good tongue posture, if you have good tongue posture you cant breathe thru your mouth in the first place
uh hu..
Only?
18% behind 4090
Doesn't even beat 3090Ti in OpenCL but I guess that's always been AMD's weakness
So, CXL was initially developed by Intel... to kill their own Optane?
it did
hmmmmm
will also use more power btw
ik

I just want my pc to not feel shit again

im convinced something is wrong with it
your hardware most likely isnt at fault
als idk would have to check but there are intel optane laptops
its never been good as it used to be during the first few months
yeah that sounds like either ssd or some cable or your electricity being fucked
still think its your power
have like 5 times
Oh...
pain
Lanaposting
Accurate this time
Idk I was guessing it’s mobile data
nah
Guessing you aint used Linux?
Nah
I never saw G on Linux either
Ya that had kB or so for me
Is G just gigabyte?
ever used java args? :p
ye
why not just put gb lol
idk moan at kernal makers
Oh wait one of the work servers had that listed without a b, so at one point I did see it
But yeah never on a GUI
Especially there I feel like it would be wanted to be sure if it’s gigabyte or gibibyte
Hey Google...
Why do you change the media player EVERY UPDATE????
It used to be a circular end
Now it's a straight line
Unless the ROM maintainer changed it for some reason? Idk
Oh... New Search
That looks absolutely horrible (with a Scottish accent)
the colors? i guess thats the material you in action
Looks more like bronze
Holy ghosting

DLSS just ghosts like hella bad
Looks like the game might not be doing correct motion vectors or something
Yeah, in most games I remember DLSS not having much ghosting
And usually Intel thing being better than fsr
yt-dlp allows you to download audio in .flac format if you want to, but does the audio quality from youtube even get close to flac quality anyway?
Not worth it, just use bestaudio
im just wondering xd
cause I copied these aliases from ArcoLinux
and noticed they have one for flac
Just bestaudio and extract it to be convenient, only re-encode if absolutely necessary (e.g. whatever you want to play it on is crappy and doesn't support modern formats)
The rest is quite impressive actually and way better than fsr.
but ghosting is quite obvious and annoying.
DLSS is defo impressive and much better at detail reconstruction and in other places even alleviates ghosting
Although I really wish FSR smacked it right out of the water eventually
dlss more ghosting amd more things missing, at 4k mostly a wash
I still have all my OG D14 L handle screw drivers
1440p dlss better bc lower resolution start is harder for fsr
What ever grind they put on the Philips is the best I've ever used
And I own a lot of high end screw drivers
inb4 its not philips
The only one that is close are Wera and GN
There is only Philips and JIS
yesnt
And I own a bunch of JIS, and it isn't JIS
it's also not supposed to be
its supposed to get close to native to give better fps
no that is nvidia making stuff up
could still be a frierson
or whatever they are spelled
frearson thats it
I mean they call it Philips in the manual and the new ones are also Philips
The NM-SD2 is a high-quality Phillips PH2 head screwdriver that is ideal for use with Noctua’s cross recess based SecuFirm™ and SecuFirm2™ mounting systems. Its 150mm long shaft makes it easy to reach the mounting screws of large CPU coolers and thanks to its magnetic tip, fixing screws in space-constrained environments such as tightly packed IT...
It literally has the long shaft just like the L handles
the only better than native is if you can afford to turn on RT effects due to upscaling and then have better looks and more fps than native
It's 2022. Who has bit-less screwdrivers.
main deal isn't to make it look better than native
Too thicc
I actually have 5 inch bit set because of that
To use powered drivers
i cant even find D14 L as a screwdriver
If the bit is smaller the holder adds a ton
I'm talking the screw driver that came with the D14 heatsinks
Then maybe release a small driver and a big driver. Instead of two, super specific bitless screwdrivers that can only be used for very specific things and leaves you needing another 4-6 screwdrivers unless you're a Noctua technician at their factory

I use 4-5 screwdrivers to get to everything in my case.
Sounds like a personal problem
I have a torrent, and the only thing I needed was p2 and p0
And p0 was just to remove my gpu heaksink
I already have a bit kit. With a much small screwdriver. Noctua can get bent as far as I'm concerned 😛
i think you will be very sad to hear philips 2 is an actual screw type not a size
never seen one personally
thats becasue actual philips is out of patent
hence why they "invented" pozi then acr
why screws?
murica
no
well "structural"
dont let water in lol
i live on the ocean and everything is dryall and concreat
yeah same
lol
80-90% humidity on average
brick and mortar is what everything should be
nah too weak
only time you get mold here is floods
i mean cant be too weak if my hometown alone has houses made from the same bricks and mortar that they were made of 600yrs ago.. cause they still stand
same for the 2 churches
try it after some 175+mph gusts
easy
renfoced concreate
sitting on driven renforced contrate pilings
40+ of them
depends on where you are in the US
houses in Texas...yeah
but go to Alaska, or some of the other northern states, and houses will be built to last more than a year

everything in the last 30+ years is that
well
some are block thats filled
nothing else meets codes
An interesting rumour has come up of late about the upcoming Ryzen 7000 processors with 3D V-Cache dubbed as Ryzen 7000X3D, launching in 2023 itself that their pricing will be revolutionary. Yes, you hear it right, these new CPUs with giant cache memory will cost the original price of the Ryzen 7000 processors, i.e. 8 […]
I highly doubt that
Source is a rando twitter user
...bruh
no one would be buying regular 7000 series
I mean
they're going to price them at a level that makes sense, so every CPU can be justified
Who buys the 5800X after 5800X3D released
5700X completely nailed it firmly into its coffin
If the six core stays a 250$, it's a good price for it to be
the exact same people
aka nobody because that product doesnt exist
7700X is a hard sell for me if that's the pricing that 7800X3 will do
Soz, mistook 5th gen for 7th somehow
well given that a 5800x is currently still selling for 100€ less than the x3d
dont think so
well my guess is they maybe do it like rdna3
and have untied it to some degree so it might have not extra locks
word is the SVI can now hard limit voltage
so x3d on am5 will support oc just have a hard votlage cap
I mean they might just do the usual and have it locked but an LN2 mode can remove it or so
not like its something you should touch on anything but that anyway
at least if its a cap, lowering might make sense, not increasing
am4 x3d is ratio locked on the die
ya ik
I just meant having it locked so people dont kill it but have it up for ln2 people
curernt x3d isnt a ln2 type part
its a hard limit
the connection between the stacks fails
yes but on gpus or such that is often done
more curious how the heat transfer is working on air anyway
if making the IHS thinner is enough or if that will cause issues
wont be differenat than am5
top fan mount 100
gee
thanks Louqe
they do a lot of good...but that's kinda stupid lol
looking for new open back over ear headphones, budget 500€, mostly media consumption and some gaming
any recommendations?
i was thinking about senn hd600, senn hd560s or hifiman edition xs
besides
this has potential
they could fuckin do the tophat thing with that and accomodate a 120 or 140mm AIO there
hm
speaking of
any really good 120mm AIOs?
something that could handle a modern mid-high end CPU?
.
Liquid Freezer II
360mm or bust
That
that's the main AIO I was looking at
You can't go wrong
only have mounting for a 120mm
But Kraken x73 or such are also really good
When you say 120mm, you mean the radiator or the fans?
rad
anyway
mansen
you actually used to review hardware
read some of your old articles on Tweak
at least some 120mm AIO has to stand above the rest
Isn't that the one where most of the rad is terrible? Or is this different? The M22 or something
You can do this
Ricardooo
Typically when it comes to AIOs it's Arctic Freezer nowadays
I'm going to do something stupid but for that, I need your guidance
well...I'm trying to get around the 75mm clearance
by mounting an AIO to the top mount
there is enough space to run tubes up
Typically speaking, 120mm radiator AIO is literally useless
You'd want it to be 360 at least
Air can cool better than a 120mm aio
...
again
not with 75mm of cooler height
So you literally have just 7.5cm's for a cooler?

What kind of tiny case are you stuffing it into
Raw S1
besides
you know, and have experience with
my ability to stuff big things in small spaces 😉
Successor to the award-winning NH-L12, the NH-L12S is a compact low-profile CPU cooler that combines excellent compatibility, surprising efficiency and remarkable flexibility. Thanks to its NF-A12x15 PWM, slim 120mm fan, the NH-L12S provides even better quiet cooling performance than the previous model with its 92mm fan. At the same time, the NH...
yes, I know about that one

I want something better than that
which is why I'm looking at AIO and top mount
Premium-Markenhersteller von CPU Kühlern, Lüftern, Festplattenkühlern und Zubehör. Die Produkte von Alpenföhn gehören zu den meist gefragtesten Kühlungskomponenten auf dem Markt.
I wouldn't go with AIO cause they are literally not good
In all seriousness I never looked into 120mm AIOs in retail - Because I had a colleague who works at Asetek. He'd just throw me their raw, unbranded models at me as needed.
ye, I know about those too

again
I want something better than those
Hello
Where can I see when the expected arrival is of my wootinga
I forgor where it was
i remember when my friend put my face on his
was great
Yeah I kinda want one just for putting silly stuff on it
if you want it really fancy
barrow makes a block with a 3 inch 1440p hdmi screen lol
huh
benchmarks show the EK 120mm AIO holding up to the D15
:)
perhaps two really high static pressure fans, and we're off to the races
is that noise normalized?
mhm
When it comes to the great debate of AIO vs Air Coolers for the best CPU temperatures, 120mm AIO's seem to have a bad rap. In this 120mm AIO roundup I look at whether now in 2022 all in one water cooling performance allows some of the best 120mm AIO coolers to compete with the best air CPU air cooling options.
Buy these AIO's from Amazon:
Ar...
considering I don't care too much about noise, being able to get that kind of performance does excite me
¯_(ツ)_/¯
no for real
I'm curious too
they are only 1500rpm fans
i would expect low 40s max
45 is up there
also
why start at 36
I plan on kicking it up a notch with two noctua f12 industrialPPC 3000 PWM fans mounted
as...exhaust, I guess
sucking all the warm gpu air out and just blasting it through the AIO
was then on a bench or in a case too
but, idea is there
this could work

assuming Louqe survives and gets around to Raw tophats...which frankly, they should
this would be a monster
either that or I'll just leave it exposed
two noctuas and a thicc rad in between
tubes running down
Would soo want to build a SFF pc
Buut would like to see what the performance of Intel&AMD's upcoming iGPUs are (Would like a Skyreach or something)
36 is a crap noise floor lol
i mean you can guess based on laptop
but i doubt it will be console level
consoles are like 200+w chips
even going to zen4+rdna3+N5
you arent getting that same level to 125w
Can @pale sigil perhaps remove these?
why
just let them run out, cant you just hide them or so
Wdym run out?
One is from May
And no I can't really hide threads
Muting them will still list them as active
huh thought disdcord had a 7 day auto closing thing for threads
Those seem in stock?
take a guess which model sold out first and wasn't in stock before
huh, which one of those is liquid cooled?
the GB model has been in stock since yesterday
the inno card came into stock today and is gone now lmfao
Credit card debt be thanking :3
Technically if you pay with your CC and just throw it away, it makes it no longer your problem
It actually works
I totally didn't spend like 5 mins cause it would keep crashing the bot cause he found the queries so nonsensical it had no clue what to do with them
wat lol
Technically also if you get your bills for the month and drop them into the neighbours' mailboxes, they ain't your problem anymore either
The inno3d is 3 slots
Windoforce is 3.5
Now if only it learnt from others instead of only what you tell it in that session...
What the fuck https://www.businessinsider.com/amazon-offering-users-2-dollars-month-for-track-phone-data-2022-12
also 3 slot
I mean, 19xx is msrp, 300 for aib cooler+ retial margin, so relatively tame compared to shortages
It's Dave Chappelle
but msrp is insane already
Not mansen silly
Maybe that is mansen
Official gif on Tenor. Report the built in addon to Discord. Don't hate the playa, playa

Pretty poor but see poorer ppl around me so I'm wondering how ppl are affording this shit???
Nvidia and amd are making money so..
Just odd
What you don't have the pennies that Nvidia are asking from you for their cards?
You don't sound like a gamer, I don't think I like your attitude
well if they sold 200k units or so of it since launch, that is still relative low compare to the amount of people who are millionaires in the world
and I would say you dont even need to be a millionaire to afford one so even more people could get one without having to ignore food
I wonder how many people can write the cards off as business expenses
writing the card off doesnt mean you dont pay for it lel
that's another part, business use it, ai training etc.
Typically you don't have to pay the tax for it
and yea, writing off is nice but it's not like it means you pay that amount less in taxes
what you probably mean how many people avoid VAT by buying it for buisness or from their work
Yeah I worked in b2b before, a lot of people wrote off the VAT by claiming it as business expenses
Not really sure how that actually works later as taxes, assuming you avoid paying right now and pay later?
Writing off can also be done for remote work if your job justifies the product. Atleast in here. Doesn't need to be business.
so in some places in america that is basically nothing, not every place has 20ish% vat like europe
All those office computers with 2070s in them I swear
I get to write off monitor stand, electric desk, and some other crap this year 😄
Actually, I had an even better one
Mhmm. I could write off most stuff I bought that revolves around my PC, since I am a freelancer with my own company. My PC and desk area is my "workplace"
As long as I don't include "GAMING" in any receipts they won't even bother looking at them.
Some guy wanted to buy like productivity rigs for his studio with like A series cards
And asked if he can "pay with EU's funds"
Some kind of EU fund bank exists for business support and they like, cover your expenses?
Lad got like 4k covered by EU
dont think thats how that works lel
Never heard of that.
That is actually literally how that works
if you are part of a reasearch project or other EU project you have funds for things that you can use for salaries, flights etc.
You have to submit an application to a commission, they consider and if approved, they cover the expenses
I'd love to see some actual source on this - Because I'm going to bet it is VERY specific and with a ton of caveats 😄
thats called a grant
yes
it's not a very profitable thing for the most part
lel
i already had screw driver that worked
love my p1 though
i need to make a duct though
gonna wait till i go am5 as cooler could move
oh my god
ive been working here for a year and i didnt know we had an epyc server lel
oh
its not ours
Pretty good
So what'd they do, switch to DXVK pepelaugh?
Without comparisons to similarly performing AMD/nVidia cards this is kind of meaningless to me.
Have they caught up? Are they behind? And if so by how large of a margin?
its just dx 9 fixes so its only catching up and fixing issues
we know that they arent ahead in dx12 games so they can't really be ahead in games where they dont have direct hardware for
I mean not for the price point
obviously compared to a 4090
6700xt is not same price though?
also depends on the game
Yeah I'll just keep waiting for BATTLEMAGE
Shame... no Intel GPU for old games yet 😄
? if this fixes most dx9 issues why not
But whattabout DX8 and 7 and stuff
If the DX9 performance is still terrible, it isn't fixed though?
how is it terrible still?
I literally asked further up if Intel were still behind on DX9 performance compared to similar cards from competition.
Lmao that would be smart
yes and I said its fixes and they can't really be ahead if they do extra work to make it run, doesn't mean they are miles behind still
It's behind in dx12/Vulckan
It's just really behind then in dx9
and instead of 200fps behind a 660xt its now just more like 30fps in CSGO and thats also different benchmarks so close enough to call it fixed
so now they for the most part are a option that you can consider if you dont mind the control center being a mess as well as more unknown factors
but raw performance for price is alright now
Did they fix h264?
idk mostly meant for gaming
you can get it for prices of like a 6600xt now and games perform around that level, sometimes higher, sometimes lower some rare cases like this
so unless those fixes are not working for some specific games which I can't really know it would be just fine for older games now
unless you actually meant dx7 era games from like before 2000 then idk
Now we're confusing and mixing things up. DX9 was specifically an issue for the ARC cards, because their DX9 implementation sucked. Modern APIs be damned - Those are what they are based on price comparisons 😄
I think they added some stuff back but probably just combability of dx9 with it and for some things you still ne combability mode or some translation layer
No it's the same thing
Arc is behind overall
For the money
It was just really behind in dx9
No.
Yes it's all drivers
Sigh...
anyway, it works, not better, but its not like you only get 50% performance of something else at same price either
They are not the same fucking thing at all. One is a bad implementation of DX9, the other is literally just not having enough raw horsepower compared to competiting products 😛
Dx9 is a software issue, sucking at DX11/12/Vulcan is because it is poorly priced compared to the raw performance.
You haven't seen compute testing then
The 750 beats 3060 in every test that actually supports arc for $100 less
And now we're in the "for the price" territory again.
What other metric matters?
They aren't power efficient or small formfactor
And they aren't halo products
So what other reason would you have to use one?
The only way to compare products from different vendors is at the same price point lol
My point still stands though, Arcs game performance isn't a horsepower issue, it's drivers
Because it has all the horsepower it needs in compute
"It has the power of a 1060, except in DX9 titles where it runs like a 760"
uhh no? more like a 6600/3060 aside from dx9 but now that should be about the same
assuming we are talking about the 750/770 yea?
in HUBs testing its about the same so its not just TPU having weird test cases
also wouldn't work since Rajas contract with the devil he made makes sure he always competes with a 1080
It was a loose example, not accurate to spec. If I knew exact performance why the fuck would I be asking about it in the first place 😛
well it looked like a quote from somewhere
Hey now, 1080/1080ti is peak GPU
thats why raja will next jump to nvidia and make a 1080 competitor there

another reason not to use tiktok 🙂
This filter basically proves that Tiktok has CP on it
cause there is a lot of underage kids doing this challenge too :/
it makes bare skin into basically a green screen you can put anything onto
ik a solution, dont use a app that can literally give you permanent brain damage
^
You are killing two stones with one bird that way! not using tiktok and not getting brain damage
YEP
(Yes, I swapped that intentionally)
well at least the issue seems to have happened inside the 4 year warranty you get so he would've been fine at least
ngl tiktok should be illegal everywhere
at least for some parts that seems to be the case, dvk license is in the files now lol
On Linux D3D9 can be used "natively", a not very well known trick.. Wonder how well those things perform with that
Only with wine/DXVK
Gallium Nine
Does that support anything new?
Yes, all modern Intel and AMD graphics have Gallium drivers
Nvidia users are out of luck obviously
At least when it was last compared to DXVK it had significantly less CPU and memory overhead
while its nice it works now, if they did fix it by just using DXVK that doesn't bode well for their future driver issues though lol
I have a feeling that chatGPT has like account-specific quota cause I had it work flawlessly before, but now he fails the queries 50% of the time and subsequent queries like 80% of the time
Either that or there's a lot of load on the server
Mesh side panel from fractal

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I Built a LEGO Train Around My CEILING, including THROUGH MY WALLS! This LEGO Train track was so much fun to make, I built a crystal cave, a plant tunnel, a treasure corner with a giant lego minifigure, and all at ceiling height!
idk why, this guy reminds me of Grian but irl

Would be interesting to see temps. with a Vertically mounted GPU & sidefans
his damn house / garden railway was soooo damn good
mesh side panel is probably not great because it will break the airflow since it just goes in all directions now
but maybe fans overcome that and it's a net benefit, curious to see some review
Yeah well they stated it in the review
''Vented side diminishes cooling from front intake fans''
''The Fractal Design North's unique side panel is also a bit of an achilles heel, as it diminishes the tunnel effect of the two front fans. As such you should really make the most of it by installing additional fans in the side bracket to really make good use of this feature. ''
But would like to see some more testing with it though
Any with a Vertical GPU?
In this video I review the Fractal Design North PC case and answer the important question of should you get this case?
00:00 Intro
00:44 Case features
07:09 Build footage
08:15 Thermals
10:10 Build Experience
11:47 What I liked about the case
13:06 What I didn't like about the case
14:34 Should you get this case?
My full step-by-step build gui...
I mean wendell didnt do any tests
kitguru showed like no comparison and just one graph of it so that was pointless
Would like to see an Aircooler on the CPU with a vertical GPU & Side intake fans

Going to give Fleet a try
Jetbrain's new IDE
very clean by default
the font size and highlighting is pretty nice too
welp...I've started my cursed Raw S1 build
printing a 140mm to 120mm fan mount, and getting a disgustingly thicc 120mm AIO
question
AM5 uses the same mounting hardware as AM4, ye?
...no, very new AIO
but
thanks for answering
so it should include separate brackets for both
Still the fractal design north seems like an interesting case at least for me.
Fractal has been releasing quite a lot of cases recently too!
Loads of interesting options and yeah a few of them are old but updates on them
The ridge is kinda nice too but is there any low-profile cooler for an 12700K that works? 😅
O11 Evo is a very good case was thinking of buying it but went with a 4000D instead because i got such a good deal on it
what?

This not really that special a feature, even kate supports it be it in a slightly different form
hmm
Y tho, that font doesn't look pleasant in my opinion
Im sure you could change it
ive never seen VS Code do this, Im guessing its an extension
Like I said 😄
Yeah, i dont like that
ofc its the editor, what else would it be?
You tell me. You seemed surprised 😛
I was surprised this was a feature in VS Code cause I hadnt seen it before
And then I remembered extensions exists in VS Code
Extensions IE the only reason people use it in the first place
Just going by the title can't wait for the fire speedruns
I either need a better router or better wifi around the house.
For some reason lately moonlight has been OK for me, not the best...
Used to be buttery smooth.
Some, but not a lot.
It does have support for lsp linting and such
really liking my new chair, seat comfort definitely way better
Nvm thx
What've you bought? 👀
A clone of the Eurotech Vera
whats your budget?
nice big bucks chairs
Lil bro bought an Embody so i can try that
I needed at least a mesh back so those were not an option
foam gets too hot in the summer
Ah ok! 👍
good option if you're willing for a 2nd hand leap
they replace the foam and fabric though
Currently using a DX Racer King series chair, It's ok but i want something better
so you won't be using someone else's farts
It's just that i really like adjustable armrests and the Gesture got the best
racing chairs are ok until you sit in them after hours and you realize how hard they are
Yeah it's ok, could be better
But there's a lot of chair options and it's soo personal
I almost got a refurbished aeron, but it doesn't look comfortable for lazing around
It's a chair where you're kinda ''forced'' to sit as intended lol
When i can make my mind up, lol
is it just the leap vs gesture?
Well was thinking of the Embody or Aeron too but don't like the Embody armrests , Aeron is kinda ok but the armrests again
Haven't tried any Steelcase chair yet
But Gesture seem nice also the Leap V2
leap is the better chair I think, but nothing beats the gesture's arms
Also open for other options of good office chairs
have you looked at any of the Haworth chairs?
Yeah heard of the name but haven't looked into any options 🤔
people consider them on par with HM and Steelcase
have to say ikea also has 1 chair thats really good for the price
i expected the default cheap stuff like plastic foot cross
very cheap adjustment mechanics
but no
is decent
The leather during summers though
yeah
yeah, bare minimum fabric, and mesh is the best
Yeah 😆
the seat depth is too short for him
ya but why show off a chair and show how to use it wrong
legs should be right angle
Yeah
and seat depth needs to be a nice 2 finger wide from edge to leg
and only a small gap between the bend of your knee and the seat
Is the seat adjustable?
yes
Lol
so glad the chair I got has seat depth adjustment
well if a chair doesnt it shouldnt be called office chair
glad we have ISO norms for this stuff
n't
yes nt
depends
Watching all these videos comparing chairs is just confusing lol
in germany many comapnies get stuff from klöber
which is hm of germany
and they spend a good 600eur or more per chair
''Don't buy a Steelcase chair until you watch this'' clickbait stuff
definitely not with most of the US
knoll have good chairs too
have also sold way too many
not just the mera
they have automatic adjustment chairs aswell
those are the bomb
for my private office id always aim for a klöber or HM personally
I sit in a canoe

I stand half the day, and sit on a cheap gaming chair the other half.
i only sit in the mentioned ikea chair from now on
its comfy
although unused to it not rolling away when standing up
sus feature
sounds like a upgrade is needed soon
It's also good to switch it up, between standing & sitting
600euro is crazy for a chair lol
Maybe next year if HR will let me
€600 ain't that much for a chair
ya
