you don't need them for the 560, since it doesn't require much power to drive properly
but if you do get a higher end headphone most if not all will need a amplifier to be powered properly

the dac also does the processing outside of your pc case where there won't be electrical noise

the dac is what converts the digital signal from a PC to voltages a speaker can use

the amp is needed to amplify the signal from the dac as it's quite weak

anything that outputs audio needs a dac and amp

#

the quality of those and how much power the amp can put out will change depending on what the model is

the dongle you're mentioning is a analog to analog dongle

anyway point was it could've been you can reuse the same cooler and if you stay in the same line you are also guaranteed it's not a chance that you might want to upgrade for more thermal dissipation, if we assume someone had a 3600x and some lower end cooler for example
