I always was keen on them but they seem to go backwards, they finally got decent enough software on the camera side (they used to be the worst !) but the rest is lacking.
The new compact one they launched looked so promising but it throttles like crazy which puts it off my list with the combination of short support life and high price.

The lamzu mouse has the best method for usb c I've seen, it has a moulded plug so it points up a bit and is extremely light, no need for a bungey for the short time you charge it.

My solution back in the day was to just modify the bios to raise the sleep clock
Took me like 6 months to figure it out. All I can tell was it would consistently corrupt the section of video memory that had the mouse cursor.
In the solution was bumping the sleep clock by 50 MHz

It doesn't really make any difference. Apple has better SoC and has more compute power available to run more complex calculations which is one of the main reasons for videos being better.
Camera is generally better on Samsung or Google side as they are now sufficient on compute for ISP and stuff
They both make relatively noticeable strides every year so it does trade now.

TBP probably 350w for their high boards, maybe 400w.
I don't think they will have problem cooling to be honest, their reference design was massively better with the 6000 series this time and third parties like sapphire are always excellent.

400 is extremely borderline on 6900xt

Totally agree die size will make a difference and I haven't seen how different it really is for rdna3 but I would assume it's still reasonable just a bit higher

The 3090 is 70w more, 3080 is only 30w more and hotter and louder surprisingly

Considering RDNA2 die size is already considerably smaller than ampre so it would already have that as a difference

The 3090ti has less but still a significant amount

But the core is practically cool compared to the 6900xt
My friends card hit 120c...
And that was with a power limit of 300 iirc

My 3090 stays below 60 on it's stock cooler at 540w
The coolest 6900xt stock config is well over 70 at 400w...
That's not even a remotely fair comparison
