Mod support would be more limited, as in java you can pretty much overwrite anything the game does.

So.... lots weirdness with the controller scheme that seems to need hacked games or developer assistance to fix.
Several "Checkmark of quality" games don't actually work (or have serious issues)", which is awful on Valve's end - but on the flipside lots of games without it work just fine.
And sometimes the OS just craps itself and won't start ANYTHING without a reboot.
Oh - And sometimes games don't download right and the Deck doesn't realize this. So redownloading can literally fix a game not launching. xD

I know metal gear 4 has the record for the longest cut scene

with 71 minutes

but I think if you just take the main scenario cutscenes from 14 I dont think any game comes close to the amount?

they have one thats around 45 minutes but they learned that was a bit too much for a single one even though it's great, in case someone disconnects etc.
