When you make files however adding yyyy/mm/dd at the start of the name means the files are always organised when sorted alphabetically, whilst dd/mm/yyyy or worse mm/dd/yyyy will organize files by day or month first, grouping all files on the same day together like the first of every month no matter the year.

Also programs like Excel and it's derivatives will know exactly where year month and day are meant to go and stop auto selecting mm/dd/yy

When I make a file on a date, it does not necessarily belong to that date! Like if a am scanning family photos, the family photos were created long before I scanned them, Windows or Linux for that matter does not have the AI capability to automatically work out the dates of old physical scanned photographs, or legal documents. If I scan a tend year old photo/document today it's going to say it was made today, but I want it organised by it's real creation date of ten years ago

If you are scanning the unorganised photos in big quantities it's often easier to title them YYYY/MM/DD, then organise them in folders after the fact. Even after organising into folders it can be easier to see which photo came from which date

an issue thats gonna crop up is, honestly, there is a large gap of FPS RPG genre that simply doesn't exist for perhaps spanning a decade that wasn't bethesda made. and then Traditional RPGs didn't come back until like 15 years later after they mostly died.

In the game industry, sadly, genres are fads set by the whims of publishers. And publishers go for "safe" bets. So most FPS and traditional RPGs died.

also I super recommend System Shock 1 or 2 ( mostly 2 is easily to get into) because they practically set the standards for the games you listed as enjoying

Another good example is Star Wars, I think most agree the sequels are terrible, and the prequels had potential but failed to live up to it. But the normal fan will at most write out a novel about what the films could have done instead, your toxic ones however will go after the actors, trying to bully them despite them not being involved in the writing.

I think the problem was that everyone wanted to make the next Star Wars trilogy. Not because they liked star wars but because they wanted their name plastered on it and have it take a big spot in their list of achievements. Try playing the game with infinite carry weight

Literally kills the game

Inventory management is literally part of the charm

Pick your kit, pick what you carry, make decisions, make sacrifices

Grind for that specific thing that allows you to carry more

Get lucky and get an enchantment or an artifact that actually gives you extra carry weight

There are literal ways to eliminate inventory management or just give infinite currency in an RPG

And guess what? The game just becomes boring
