the 2.5" ssds are at sata speed but you can also get an m2 ssd at those speeds, just usually you'd get an nvme one since its the same price

With how prices are these days, I'd grab a 1TB NVME and a 3TB HDD for a new build. If you REALLY need more space for those MASSIVE AAA games, then you can add another one. And the HDD comes in clutch for music and movies. They just take up needless space on an NVME. You never need the speed.

Honestly? The keys feel very snappy and that’s probably the single biggest difference.

Where the board shines isn’t in the tech beyond Hall effect and RT, where it shines is that it removes anything but you from being the bottleneck. No lacking tech on the keyboard. However fast you are it will match.

DX is backwards compatible. So you should have everything going way back to like... dx6? if you've installed DirectX as part of a game install (which is ... the vast majority on steam)
