I tried Norway once. Ended up making alliance but it didn’t really help, and even with historic Germany wouldn’t attack Russia, making it just a very very long stealmate with Germany being unable to progress after taking Denmark and ton of naval invasions.
With the focuses in that mod was able to get good enough industrial output but with Norway manpower was kinda issue having to hold all German troops
