Like charging in general it will slowly degrade the battery. That's just due to the nature of batteries losing capacity as more charging cycles are used. Generally a non-issue. My DS Lite still has its original battery and works for multiple hours without needing to charge.

I have no idea how switch charging works. I haven't bought a console since the Xbox 360. Just assumed it was the same as a phone - charge to max, let it discharge to XX%, charge to max again and repeat until you wake up.

What I hate more than region locked DVDs and BRs, is geoblocking. As the physical media is simply switched to region unlocked in the player, but with the geoblocking you have to use VPN or pirate the content, because why do you need to block your own IPs in other regions.

I forget which game it was but the company completely lost the source code so they can't do a proper remake of it but emulation keeps the game alive and healthy for people that want to play it.

Ahh yes, the plot of LoZ is in every game completely different. 
I enjoyed the exploring, temple completions, and quests far more fun, entertaining, and more worthwhile, than links wake up and fights ganon(dorf).
Also the playthrough I watched was the bare minimum of playing BoTW, just the minimum requirements for the "defeat ganon quest", so the actual full story and plot content wasn't ruined for me.
