SC is one of my favs. Flux economy over fixed, insanely large army counts in the thousands etc.
You can actually make hundreds of bombers, spy planes, interceptors, battleships etc etc.
Tens of thousands with enough players.
The big issue is SC:FA runs on one whole core so it gets slow as fuck. Turns out the community for FAF, Forged Alliance Forever, are making their own RTS with high count multicore scaling. :D

Scrollwheel strafing is very powerful too, but it's better if you understand how to use both and when to use what
Sometimes it's more beneficial to use keyboard to lurch than spamming scrollwheel and flicking your mouse
You also need to look at the wall to start a wallclimb so in that scenario it's a lot faster, easier, and more consistent to lurch using keyboard
Wallclimb is used in walljumping or double jumping which are the most evasive movement options
Rapid trigger makes lurching so much easier
My friend with a ducky keyboard could not perform the same jumps I could with his denounce/reset time
