Hacking so far has felt utterly pointless except to get money.

Even with a ton of perk points (feels like) invested and an upgraded cyberdeck, none of the abilities can "kill" anyone in a decent amount of time. And most often their netrunner will run "SPOT THE PLAYER" which you can't avoid and then combat begins.

The (non)lethal single shot ones do maybe a third or half of a thug's health. 8 second cooldown.

If I "kill" someone with it and someone sees, combat starts 9 of 10 times due to someone hacking ME.

Then there's a virus that spreads but the damage it does is like poking someone in the side.

Now all I do is hack the networks and ping for XP and then use the "blind" one occasionally to stop a guard from moving and seeing me so I can sneak in.

Or I just pop a health booster and melee everyone.
