I don't know if CB allows for mouse+controller input at the same time. That'd be my first test.

Plug in a 360 controller (or fake one with the Wooting for WASD) and see if you can do that while using the mouse, or if it (like Skyrim/Fallout) constantly toggles between the two and causes pauses or lost inputs
