it depends on the games you play and what your skill level is

also obviously depends what you are swapping from

it is quite noticeable in games where movement matters a lot (counter-strike, valorant) or precise timed inputs are important (geometry dash, osu). Other games can also benefit but those are the ones that get the most benefit really

I just beat Jedi Academy. The past few days I have completed:
Dark Forces
Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II
Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Force
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
(Terrible naming I know)

They were all good games which I found surprising. I was particularly impressed with Dark Forces II which was like a proto-Half-Life 1. Very cool maps with interesting exploration

First of - really easy to disassemble, Torx 6, all the same screws inside, a bit longer on the outside
Small problem - mine was "clicking" when I was turning around left stick - turns out that capacitive sense wire (red arrow) was catching on the fron panel connector (yellow arrow), but bending wire a tiny bit and routing it under one of the TMR sensors helped
Also battery is literally just fuckin old Nokia battery
Plus you don't have to pry open the back panel to swap battery like in Deck, after unscrewing it just opens up easily, no latches whatsoever

I have played with Steamroller a bit and, I gotta admit, someone spent way more time on it that they should, and their tism was speaking the whole way
So, it weighs about the same as DualSense, but doesn't feel as heavy at all, maybe because it sits deeper in palms
ABXY buttons are very light to press, but have this nice actuation feel, are quite lighter than DS
D-pad is really nice, and doesn't suffer from accidental right press when pressing down, as I often had on DS
Sticks are really nice and comfy too
But - I will cream about shoulder buttons and triggers, they are buttery smooth, don't feel like either on DS, Xbox or Stadia at all, they feel so light and smooth it's crazy
Puck be really strong, holding onto controller with no problems, and you can just put controller on it in whichever direction and it will snap on
Touchpads are like 95% the same as on Deck, they feel a bit smaller, but playing NFS:MW on two touchpads is so much better than on SC v1
Other than that feels very responsive, also while wireless
And L4/L5/R4/R5 buttons are actually nice to use now, and I had no more small finger cramps while using it
All in all well worth its price
