dlss and fsr both use a 1.5x scaling factor for their quality presets
so 1440p divided by 1.5 gives you exactly a 960p internal resolution for both technologies
it doesn't change the math at all, the game is still rendering at 960p and using frame gen just to limp to 60 fps
the 2070 super isn't listed under the minimum tier, it's in the recommended tier
frame gen is an enhancer, not a crutch
if your base framerate is 30 fps or lower, your input lag is still tied to that 30 fps
so even if the screen says 60 fps with fg on, the game will feel incredibly heavy and delayed to play
both nvidia and amd literally say you need a solid base framerate before applying fake frames for it to not feel terrible to play

1. pressing W and it drives away from camera
2. then pressing D vehicle auto-steers right and fully drives to the right of the camera
3. if you then press S it auto-turns and drives towards the camera at full speed
4. but don't you dare pressing W now to drive in the camera direction again since the vehicle will go in full on reverse speed away from the camera...
