Man... they made the game so easy in comparison to the old days. Back then most of the books on this bookshelf looked intact at first, and you kind of had to go through all of them, and see which ones were charred, and which ones held actual information 😄

tbf with what little the steam controller offers over an 8bit do idk if the downsides it has compared are worth it

my main gripe really is that theres no dinput/xinput default mode without steam

and the whole "you cant switch modes without having a toggle or something" which supposedly was a concern... just have people hold multiple buttons for 5 seconds like steam menu + some other button

it could even vibrate to let you know if youre in dinput/xinput mode or lizard mode

like once for lizard and twice for the controller mode

but yeah personally wouldnt consider it ever given the only upsides it has are trackpads and a puck (which i still dont think the puck even is much of an upside unless you dont have BT yet)
