The 2022 RE movie that did a loose adaptation of RE1/2 was so weird. It spends like 40 minutes setting things up while destroying the characters from the games,. Jill is a rude coworker that bullies the new Leon, and Leon is a bumpling stuttering insecure fool on his first day of work, and then he gets bossed around by bosslady Claire later. And also Claire and Chris meet up at the beginning of the movie and argue and clearly have a bad relationship together even though the point of Claire visiting Raccoon City in the games was to find her brother

Chris's casting was excellent imo and the costume was fairly accurate but the others were misses. Didn't even do easy no effort things like giving Wesker glasses

Oh and Wesker had a crush on Jill in that movie for some reason. Or they were in a relationship already I forgot

ok, after a lot ot fiddling around i actually managed to get the analog input to register when i enforce the gamepad key usage.
so far so good, and pretty much works as i imagined it by now, at least for forwards/backwards throttle. as for steering on the other hand i'm really getting weird results, as in when i just slightly push the keys my tank for some reason is moving forwards ultra slowly (no matter if i use A or D aka positive/negative axis) and only after pushing it down to about 40% or 50% it actually registers as turning but uses full force instead of the expected variable force depending on the actual input 😂

so yes, in a sense the game let's you play with keyboard, mouse and gamepad inputs at the same time, but for one reason or another it's acting up in a weird way^^
