i think a huge part of the reason why arc raiders is so popular is because the npcs arent humanoid

it being abstract creatures that are actually dangerous gives it a unique vibe that imo is completely responsible for the strong pve community in solos

Depends on what is considered cheating in my opinion, every game and every developer will find themselves in a different place in the spectrum.

Obviously things like wallhacks and aimbots should be 0 tolerance.
But what about finding and exploiting an item dupe glitch? What if it was found accidentally and not exploited?
In Arc for a while you could glitch past locked doors - is that cheating, and worth a 0 tolerance ban?
What about input automation, simple macros? What about modifying the actuation curve to give a precision advantage like Wirtual did in Trackmania?

They removed completely transmogging of single piece of armor
If you want to change even one piece you have to go through wardrobe template
And you get only 2 templates, but of course you can buy more for 7.50€ or ~225g each
And for any change on templates you have to pay with transmog points, instead of removing them, because it's so much outdated system

Want it to get worse? 99% of gear you pick up is pointless. Cause the game offers a slew of "legendary" armour and weapons - which all have unique bonuses or features.

So as soon as you have one in each slot, any "normal" gear immediately becomes pointless, vendor trash - as does the majority of ingredients - cause of course legendary gear require special ingredients to upgrade.
