For consumer use, I think it’s really the only shot. As we were saying earlier, even though valve isn’t responsible for making all these games with invasive anti cheats, the only way Linux will be adopted is if valve strikes some deals for SteamOS to be supported by these devs or if they develop a workaround. And unless they can do that, so that every pc game would be supported, they’ll never win the OS race that’s inevitable between Valve and Microsoft.
