I run the afk on my Xbox since it’s far more efficient than a 5090 (even if I power limit, frame cap to like 20fps, and do all low settings). Was also experiencing issues where if I did the afk farm on pc, it would crash within half an hour. Normal play not affected. Checked settings that could’ve caused it and reinstalled drivers. Seems like it’s either something wrong with the ea launcher or something similar. I have a macro set on the controller to just spin the right joystick every 30sec.

Welp - Dune made it very easy to break free from finally. They added a new little event where cargo ships are shot down for players to loot.

A worm appeared from literally nowhere, ate me and lost me over a week of RNG loot gear. I can handle losing that from dumb mistakes on my part - But when the game glitches out and doesn't provide a GET OUT NOW warning as it is supposed to, I'm done.

Hope whoever finds my abandoned base in a month can get a bit of loot from it - Maybe I'll reinstall it in a couple of years, when they let players self - host and the story is done 😄

The whole worm thing is just poorly implemented - They should be scary. But they're not normally. You can just hop in your thopter and lift off for a few seconds and then land again to reset the worm aggro.

But when the aggro meter just stops working randomly, and you die because of that - My patience is done. Especially when so much of the gear I have is one-craft only, and I have to keep farming the same tiny outposts every hour to get a 10% chance of getting a specific item over and over till I'm back on top.

You have thumpers, but those also don't work if the worm aggro system glitches - so it becomes pure gambling every time you try to loot something in the desert. That's just not good game 😄

Adding the new albeit small apartment, all the breakable windows in shops and cars. All the extra buildings to enter. It doesn't make it better, it makes it worse. The original game is just the right length. Then this game is noticeably longer. No one wanted the original game to be longer. No one felt it too short. And the combat is really bad. Big downgrade over the original imo
It took me 1 hour 40 minutes to enter the apartments since there was so much crap to see and do in the town leading up to it. In the original you'd just run along the streets and pick up a few items here and there but now there are many new places to enter where you fight 1 - 2 enemies and pick up some healing gear or ammo
The soundtrack of the original game doesn't fit this one. The original game is extremely grimy and filthy, and the soundtrack adds to that. But this remake is so clean looking. Really wrong atmosphere imo

They also added AAA checkmark things such as things to push to the correct spot to jump on top of it, «vents» to crawl under or jump through to reach a different room, and cracks in walls to squeeze through

Also for the pokémon game enjoyers here. I was able to play the demo at gamescom from the new Z game. It was a boss battle with the non-turn base aspect.

It was actually really fun, still felt familiar but added a new challenge to it with the dodging and manoeuvring around.
Will most likely pick it up once it releases.
