I was laying on a tank doing the engineer challenge earlier and when he rotated the turret, the barrel hit me and launched me across the map. Riding on top of a tank feels a lot like 2042 with how buggy it gets, but that’s about it for me. Also, on a side note, can confirm friendlies can ride on the chopper if you don’t bank hard.

Honestly, the 2 main gripes I have with the game is:

1. a horrendous settings menu
2. Most people playing the beta don’t or haven’t played BF before and don’t understand the concept of playing the objectives and reviving teammates.

shooting in the game is imo quite nice especially cause there is no pinpoint accurate weapon

so the distance shootouts are always a bit tricky given you miss quite a lot of shots

na but imo the game fits very well into the mafia 1 and 2 games playstyle

they expanded a bit on stealth mechanics which is nice

but you definitely have to love more story focused games

imagine GTA5 but slightly more difficult

and i read a few of the steam reviews now and im a bit confused

it seems like they never actually played any of the other mafia games

they all have a very repetitive loop of the story missions you do

basically in any of the mafia games it goes

cutscene -> drive/run to POI -> shootout

the drive/run to POI section can repeat itself sometimes where you drive/run to multiple in a row

also TQ2 roadmap released and it looks promising
