Factorio is basically Mindustry, but with a much longer and complex tree. And the AI is a lot less clever. They're literally just bugs going straight towards you, once you expand.

Rimworld is a lot more open. It is what you make it. I wouldn't say the basegame is that exciting after 500 hours. You kind of need to look into the DLC and mods to make it more of a YOU thing.

It is ultimately a story generator more than a well balanced game.

Why did none of you tell me how broken GTA 1 is
Had the game crash at a stage by doing all frenzies. It's fixable by editing game files but for it to apply you have to redo the entire level which I certainly didn't bother with!!
And in the London 1969 expansion pack the cutscenes are completely broken not letting me access the next level!!

If you enjoy the game? Definitely not the worst purchase. Everything except for Anomaly adds pretty big things to the game as a framework.

Royalty adds... well Royalty but also the concept of magic.
Biotech lets you create new species, for space, fantasy. Great if you want to make something from a game like Orcs, Elves, Vulcans, Androids.
Ideology is all about creating some sort of "meme", which basically means the laws of your colony. You can make them cannibals, you can make them great at farming, you can make them become cthulhu worshipping cultists.

All three DLC add a lot that mods rely on in some way or another.

Anomaly is... kind of different. It adds some very horror-esque specific stuff, without really adding a bunch of new frameworks for mods. If you like things that go bump in the night as a challenge, it's not bad. But I'd buy it after everything else.

And then there's Odyssey, which is mostly about spaceships and exploration. Things mods already do, but will likely become even more detailed and encompassing, once the mods merge with the new DLC frameworks

If I had to buy just one, I'd grab Biotech, followed by Ideology and finally Royalty.

what I was using earlier was max raytracing and I was getting around 30-45 with the same settings.

The game reccommends high preset for me but the nvidia app said I could push the visual fidelity a bit further (with dlss on ofc) so I applied the settings from the nvidia drivers and adjusted the settings in game accordingly to what was causing me frame drops.
