1- i got through the game despite having nerve damage by just speccing my characters so that i get AP if i get hit and using my luminas intelligently and setting up 2 characters in my party with strong healing abilities
also the qtes when attacking, there's an accessibility option for it but not for dodges/parries so i jusr adapted my playstyle

Because it fills the little gap between the joycon and the switch making it accidentally do a lever effect from the weight of the system
