but right now it allows people to run inside spawn and do rly lame things that defeat the purpose of a shooter

spawnkilling is one of the core mechanics of a shooter. the spawnkiller, especially when acting alone, has to take on all the risk and execute all the skill vs a team of full hp enemies with no cooldown

Having played a good chunk of it the main bads are: dialogue/va inconsistency some are good but some sound kinda... dead inside (can be fixed with immersive mode but that breaks the lipsyncing), the stupid prayer minigame when you get to a temple with the little dingdingdingdong music makes me bored out of my mind and annoyed. The story is a bit basic, it's not the worst i've heard it's just... kinda basic at least so far just feels like a basic revenge story.
The horses are useless too much mountainous terrain

• great combat system with lots of variety (diff weapons, builds, 2 main characters)
• has rpg elements but isn't grindy
• has a really addicting base building mechanic that manages to not be grindy
• actually fun side content like castle raids
• a great sense of exploration i keep finding myself pushing further and further into the map naturally and kinda just forget what im doing sometimes and get completely distracted (in a good way)
• good stealth ai (on hard difficulty) actually isn't braindead and you can't just chill on a roof and expect to be safe
• you can prone!!!!! Stealth mechanics as a whole are good

Solid 8/10 in my book

• enemies keep bugging out by either being invincable or reviving endlessly after i assassinate them
• way too grindy if you want to not just do the main targets
• gathering resources is becoming a pain in my butt
• skill tree isnt all too nice imo as id love to be able to just stock up on tools for example with naoe but cant just carry 10 kunais
• stealth ai is ok-ish but makes no sense sometimes being able to spot you despite the meter saying youre completely hidden and them being meters away
• some subtitles just arent translates (not sure if this is an immersive mode issue or not)
• some cutscenes have really badly balanced audio levels
• audio in general is way too quiet on 100% volume
• graphic settings seem to make no real difference to max fps just how stable your FPS are

and prob more i just forgot about in the roughly 36hrs i have in shadows now

then u have to keep track of some of the abilities and interact with them, like hooking yourself to a web

her aiming is uninspiring because no headshots so it feels even less like a drive to do well. and the shots are super slow, and she moves super slow

now that healers actually heal me im noticing they aren't great either

they are inconsistent too often

i get sometimes they will be under attack but it seems like every tank match is sporadic in terms of heals

where when i play sup i'm healing almost the entire match and only get pulled off healing occasionally

so it's hard to make decisions because idk when the heals will be there or not be there

whenever i look at encounters on tracker.gg it seems like they're all celestial, gm, diamond and only a couple are gold and bronze

i'm not sure how they decide which encounters to show

but if there's no real filtering on this, it's weird that so many players are in these ranks

because you use the small dm83 file and it fetches game resources, that means you can customize things however you want and completely remove the ui or add in custom fonts for the "kill feed" as kids call it 🤣 and make noice fragmovies 😌

I am better than most players but i can actually back it up and have decades of proof.. but I don't need to go in chat and tell them im better.. and if i do a simple thing like ask them to do something that is basically common sense they start whining and saying how im "Bronze" and trash etc.. and when i look those people up their stats seem to indicate they are worse than me

yes it is worse than ow, but i think it's because ow has cultivated a sensitive community by censoring the fuck out of people. rivals just censors words and as far as i can tell they don't just ban everyone for every little thing they say.

i've actually run mmorpgs and managed the entire itemshop and ingame economy in terms of how it's configured and how people can obtain things with or without money

i think it's because the dps players don't do the pressure they should be doing. idk what these people are doing. do they just stand around and not pressure opponents? when i play dps i dmg the shit out of people and they run and get healed and other enemies hit me and it just ends up being me running out of hp and CD And getting focused by the enemy and the enemy not dying

for example if u played more than i did in s0 u experienced a different gameplay experience than i did in terms of how strong each char was relative to the other

and in rivals specifically i believe they c hange the team powerups each season too
