Consumers don't even know what VRAM is, or how it works. Expecting anyone to know what PhysX or the lack thereof on the box, when no one ever mentions is it the epitomy of bad faith argumentation, and the exact reason why we have consumer rights orgs.

I've been playing King's Field 3 (2 if not Japan) lately and the game is CAPPED at 15 fps. It looks and feels absolutely awful

1 and 2 were at least meant to run at 20 not 15

There are built-in "hacks" to make the game run at 30 and 60 but that also speeds the game up making it harder and simultaneously making it feel like I'm cheating

There are countless examples of things like ledges that aren't 200% obvious, in your face defeating the average gamer in stuff like Assassin's Creed. You're a privileged, "good gamer", the average gamer is not.

In games like Resident Evil 4 (the original), breakable objects stick out from the background almost similarly to how in old animated movies you can always tell what's something that will move around versus what is just the background. But I agree that slapping yellow paint was lazy and imo insulting. Should definitely have been toggable. Or just tell people that barrels and crates are breakable at the start

I'd love another Morrowind style approach where you get more detailed instructions on how to do things and where to go, but also with a toggable Oblivion style compass

Games like Skyrim when playing with the quest marker disabled sucks because the game was not build around it. You get almost no instructions on where to go etc.
