Souls games are different. Your character doesn't become stronger with each death. You just potentially learn something new.

I don't enjoy games that punish repetitive boss battles. If I can't beat it within a handful of tries, then it isn't the game for me personally 😄

I beat Demon souls, DS1-3 and bloodborne but elden ring? I just played like 6 hours then stopped playing

Elden Ring was fun to walk about in the open world and find cool architecture and places

Bloodborne was just.. gothic gore (in a good way) which I loved, that style of architecturee is incredible

Though I hate the gameplay, you just get randomly ambushed, lose any currency when you die, have to retrace back the steps and all mobs respawn, the fights are just all about memorization and timing with a degree of frustration

Those games would be a lot more fun if they were more ARPG-ish
