For me it's the same thing as any other game like it. Building something from nothing - Watching drills extract ore from the ground, smelting and bending it into massive constructions one step at a time.

However I don't have much love for the math, the optimization. I will happily download "perfect" blueprints to suit my needs for creativity 😄

valheim is like the only survival adventure type game I've played that has all the resource management, crafting, base building etc mechanics I'd expect from the genre but it doesn't have the habit of repeatedly kicking you while you're down or trying to figure something out (except later on when you've beat some bosses and knows to expect it)
