pretty sure the most customized part is the nanovisor they use. otherwise the xbox one used windows 8 core (which as far as i heard wasnt too heavily modified) and then later windows 10 core again not aware that its heavily modified.

Honestly I like using the Steam deck at my house too.

It's just nice to have a Wii U like experience with a nice chunky controller like the Steam Deck.

With that use case you can also do in house streaming, have yet to try it out on the Steam Deck but the Steam Links were pretty good.
