I actually tried out The First Descendant, not realizing it was Nexon. I was like "Oh this is like a WF clone, let's check it out" and I played for about an hour, it felt bad, then I saw Nexon and was like aw hell nah, F2P Nexon game? Nooo sir.

They even have similar enemy designs, the ammo drops, health / mana orbs are extremely identical, even some SFX are straight copied.

Warframe is a miracle for existing, even if you don't like it. Digital Extremes was told for over 10 years that Warframe was not possible. It could not be made, and every majori studio turned them down saying it would be a total failure. Now DE is a huge 300+ person studio launching new titles and pulling in tons of money. Even if I haven't played Warframe in years, their passion is very, very real.

from what i can see its not that bad, similar to warframe. only thing that i find annoying but is becoming the norm is that if you buy the premium currency you get too much to buy only one thing but not enough to buy 2 so you have to pay twice if you want 2 items

destiny would be done if someone would actually put the time and money into making a game with good gunplay and performance i feel like. pvp in d2 is just bad atp, pve is challenging but most of the raids are old atp and theres not much new content and everything is being reskinned all over again. tho the final shapes story was good imo and the raid is supposed to be good aswell. but all in all d2 is just a scam at this point well for new players at least

its a more complex topic and a main factor of why its complex is that most rule sets dont really think about things like DKS as it just wasnt a thing when the rules were made

the other issue is that for example with macros people think its ok to use those in games cause well it comes with most gaming keyboards in the software right? well people always use that fact and the fact that you dont immediately get banned by the anticheat for using those macros and keyboard software as a it must be allowed card.

Still osu! is a game that has always been quite strict about these things, tripple click mouse buttons are also not allowed, have mouse that can do those about as old as osu!

we had a similar issue with the ruleset being outdated to what the tech can do in track mania with our analog controller features.

those hardware macro's can even be something that exists out of the box.
DKS can be used in a similar manner as those.

the main issues (from my POV) are:

1. rules need to include what the current tech can do or have a generalized rule for banning newer tech until its reviewed and covered by the rules
2. games/anticheats need to start acting more on enforcing rules like no macros even if its macros from razer synapse or such because otherwise they might as well not have a rule disallowing macros
3. general awareness needs to rise in players

But yea the most important thing rules must be descriptive of behavior not based on the tech used to create said behavior.

i think it's just difficult to accept going back to boring story after getting endwalker

like for me in particular, I understand that everything before EW was building up to deliver that ending

but I still don't want to play through 300+ hours of that boring story

to me it's not worth the payoff, not by a long shot

then there's the fact that ff story is just running between points and reading

would rather read a book at that point so I didn't waste 30% of my time spent on the story running around and looking at loading screens
